to make financial decisions. Mr [redacted] came in several weeks after the purchase demanding that the dealership pay his sales tax. When we said no, he threatened to buy a bunch of domain names to try and launch a smear and slander campaign against the dealership as he is a self proclaimed "internet expert". I told the finance manager to tell Mr [redacted] that we would not be threatened or extorted and that if he took such action, we would get our legal counsel involved. These are grown adults who need to pay their sales tax like every other consumer. It is not the dealership's responsibility.

Have spoken to the customer. The vehicle was traded in to us with that tint on it. We are going to have the tint removed and new tint applied at no cost to the customer.

that the entire amount should be refunded.  If there was not a recall on my car then the alternator would have never failed whcih in turn then my battery would have never failed either.  I just can't understand the logic of this, if there was not a recall on my car, it would have never broken down and therefore we would not have needed to buy a new battery !!!

I would be happy to pay this customer a referral check. I need the name and date of purchase for the original deal and the name and date of purchase for the daughter's deal. If both deals went through, I will gladly send out a check.

I am rejecting this response because: I did accept the check after a long day of work expecting it to be a warranty reimbursement, The dealership did absolutely nothing to the vehicle to check if it was road worthy there are many problems with the vehicle that will be fixed this weekend from out of my pocket just so I can work to pay for the car.  Warranty Reimbursement means getting the warranty back not a check where even that vin number was wrong yet again.

When this vehicle came in  we were mislead and told it had a new master cylinder on it. w We wasted hours of time fighting to get air out of the brake system and get a firm pedal on this car. The customer authorized all of this time and when picking up at the cashier wanted to...

debate labor costs. Then several days later they came back in with the same issue again not letting us know it did not have a new master cylinder on it. In discussing this with the tech it was concluded that the abs system was leaking air into the brake system and it needed replaced. Once again the issue came back. So at that point we installed a new master cylinder with the abs pump and the issue was resolved. Had the customer been forthcoming with this information a lot of time and expense could have been saved. Now they are trying to use your organization to get more money back. If they had given us all the details of their repair attempts most of this could have been avoided but they did not. We were fighting a loosing battle.
