This would mean I am out the $190+ dollars I already spent for the next year and a half of maintenance with [redacted] and would have to pay again for only one year of maintenance checks. I do not consider this a savings for me. I thank Southern Goodman for the offer, but I don't want to pay twice for the maintenance plan I already paid for.

Called business spoke with Jennifer she stated that they came to an agreement to resolve the issue. The agreement involved a refund.

Review: On April 9, 2014 I paid $385.00 for a three year Energy Saving Agreement. That Agreement paid for six precision tune up procedures of my [redacted] HVAC system that [redacted] installed in 2004. The company performed two tune ups in 2014 and one on May 12, 2015. On August 7, 2015, I called to set a date for the fall precision tune up only to find that another company answered their phone number of 804-526-5131. [redacted] had gone out of business during the summer of 2015. [redacted] did not send out a letter to clients and no refund was made of time left on the Energy Saving Agreement. The new company Southern Goodman has purchase [redacted] phone number and has access to the client records, but Southern Goodman will not honor any energy saving agreements paid to [redacted].Desired Settlement: Since each precision tune up is valued at $64.16, I would like to receive a refund for three precision tune ups, that I paid for and I will not be able to receive since Barnes Heating & Cooling retired/and or went out of business. So the refund would be $192.48.

We are sorry that [redacted] are out of business. We are attempting to assist their customers as best we can going forward. We were not paid for this service, but, we are offering that we would give you an extra service if you would purchase Southern Goodman's Gold Club Membership. We would give [redacted] customers 3 visits for the price of 2. If you were not offered this, please let me know we will be glad to assist you. Again sorry Barnes went out of business, however, Southern Goodman had nothing to do with that situation we are only trying to assist their customers.
