Thank you for sending me the pictures to view As stated earlier there is a new console *** *** on order which will resolve this issueIn the photos I could not tell from the photo showing where the threads were loose, where this would be on the actual pieceA new seat for the *** *** was shipped on 7-20-to the retailer to replace the existing one This would fix the issue with the seat, and if the consumer refuses
for repairs to be done, there is nothing else we can do We reserve the right to repair to new condition vsreplacingAs far as Southern Motion is concerned, we have done everything that we have been asked to do for this customerThis is between the consumer and the retailer

We have requested the receipt showing the date of purchaseCustomer was advised if the date of purchase proof was not submitted we would have to send the part on a charge basisWe have also supplied the customer with the cost and he was asked to advise

Southern Motion has a year warranty from the customers date of purchase, and this is worked back through the store they purchased their furniture fromOur year warranty has nothing to do with an extended warranty that the retailer has, but it still has to work back through the
retailer.The warranty has to go back through the retailer because they are there with the consumer and Southern Motion is notPlease have the consumer to provide us with the information listed belowName of retailer:

I am rejecting this response because: I have a couple more questions. I have spoken with the retailer regarding this matter and they had different versions of the story, but they are coming to pick up the broken seat today. My concern is if it isn't repaired to my satisfaction or doesn't function like it should. What is our next step then? They also told us that the console was ready to ship last Tuesday. Is that the case?

I am rejecting this response because: My concerns were not even addressed. Their response to my original complaint is appalling. My couches have been falling apart since weeks of being in my homeWith the recliners breaking and the fabric falling apart, this furniture is junkI was told that the fabric was discontinued and I would have to recover both sofasYou think $will cover the cost to recover both sofas? I sure don'tMy problem is Southern Motion is not standing up for the quality of their furnitureThis company doesn't care about the products they are selling or the people they are selling toAttached is my receipt from the store and the serial number labels from both sofasI also attached photos of the fabric pealing This is what I have to show for my MADE IN USA productThanks

We bought a love seat and sofa manufactured by Southern Motion Our local furniture store (***) said the furniture was made in the USA Unfortunately the leather bonded love seat is cracking and peeling We have only had the furniture for years It looks horrible The local furniture store contacted Southern Motion and they are suppose to send additional material This is a joke Interestingly, the sofa (a different color is ok) The love seat is chocolate brown Next time I guess I'll buy Wal-mart or another cheap store

We contacted the store, and below is their reply.New furniture is shipping on March 13th. Customer is aware of this

I understand it is out of the year warranty, but this furniture was barely used, we are two people in the house with several other rooms that we utilize besides this The rest of the sectional is like brand new except for this one recliner that was sat in a few times We have taken immaculate care with conditioning it with leather products only I just don't understand how this product would not last more than years with little use I was told Southern Motion was one of the best manufacturers of this type of furniture

I am sorry *** Furniture no longer claims responsibility for the product because company policy is to work back through our retailersWe are a manufacturing based company not a retail based company so I can't send furniture to a consumers houseYou are going to have to go back to the store and
have them call us for a possible solutionDid you by chance turn *** over to the Revdex.com or just blame the manufacturer? It's not Southern Motion's fault the retailer won't work with youI can not and will not tell one of our customers how to run their businessTherefore, your best hope of a solution is to go back thru ***

we purchased a dual recliner in a beige color and love it No problems with it for years no signs of wear,looks like new

I am rejecting this response because: I purchased new furniture and should not have to accept furniture that needs major repairsI will not agree to the furniture being repaired and am willing to take this to social media and the courts if neededI filed a complaint against *** *** also but have not heard from the Revdex.com concerning the complaint.

I bought a southern motion couch three months ago and the seat and back cushions are sagging badly alreadyI want my money back but the retailer will not take it back but will stuffing more cushion material into itAs a disabled vet I find it ironic that they advertise American made but can't give me my money back for such a shoddy product shame on them

We have reached out to the retailer, and they have ordered parts to have this repaired back to new.We reserve the right to repair back to new vsreplace. The retailer is working directly with this customer

We have plans in place to assist ***'s customers that purchased bonded, however their internal policies are not something we as a manufacturer can or will dictateYou will have to take that up with themAs far as the year protection plan goes, again that is something ***'s sellsSouthern
Motion neither offers, backs, sells, profits from, or has anything to do with any extended warranty offersThose are sold to the retailer by other protection plan companies that have nothing to do with manufacturersYou will have to work thru ***'s

We purchased a Southern Motion reclining sofa and love seat set three years agoWe were lured into purchasing the Southern Motion set because we strongly believe in buying American made products and supporting local retailers instead of the big box stores After two years the material on the bonded leather sofa (which was sold to us as marketed by Southern Motion as "bullet proof and indestructible" material) began falling apartThis set gets just moderate to low usage in our home and after two years developed a small crack that now at year three is peeling an a a large section on the seat is completely pealed off to the backingI talked with the retailer and was told there was just a one year warranty I would never recommend this brand to anyoneIf this company expects consumers to purchase a new sofa at nearly $every couple of years forget itI will do all I can to ensure no one I know falls for their terrible productI have been searching for months on contact information and cannot locate a phone number or email on their websiteThey are obviously do no have the confidence in their product to stand behind it, and are hiding from duped consumers by failing to publish their phone number DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BRAND!

A refund will not be processed by Southern MotionParts were ordered by *** today via a po they sent to usWe have accordingly ordered said parts and they will be shipped to your home within weeksThis falls within accordance of our warrantyIf refused, no further action of any kind will be taken regarding your piece(s)
