Thank you for sending me the pictures to view.  As stated earlier there is a new console [redacted] on order which will resolve this issue.In the photos I could not tell from the photo showing where the threads were loose, where this would be on the actual piece.A new seat for the [redacted] was shipped on 7-20-16 to the retailer to replace the existing one.  This would fix the issue with the seat, and if the consumer refusesfor repairs to be done, there is nothing else we can do.  We reserve the right to repair to new condition vs. replacing.As far as Southern Motion is concerned, we have done everything that we have been asked to do for this customer.This is between the consumer and the retailer.

Brought furniture from this company that fell about and called them with no response,sent email with on response is this how a company deals. There will response when they receive a letter from the courts to appear.

The customer's set is well outside of any warranty parameters and was denied by upper management for this reason. There is nothing Southern Motion can offer. Their set is nearly 5 years old with a 1 year cover warranty. The warranty expired 4 years ago. This is outside our purview entirely at this...

The furniture should be repaired to meet Southern Motion standards.The wedge is on order and should be shipped soon.

Great product at a great price! I'm a stay-at-home mom of a 1 yr old. I'm up & down from the couch all day long. And my toddler has learned to push the reclining button...over and over and over again. We have not had any problems whatsoever, with the mechanics or leather. Excellent experience!

Please have the customer to contact the store again.  I do not show any parts on order andanything that can be done has to be directed through the store.

I understand the customer's frustration, however, there is simply nothing further that can be done or authorized at this time.

If the retailer is still open and active we ask that all claims, whether in warranty or not, be run thru them. Please contact the retailer and ask them to contact Southern Motion so that, if possible, the proper warranty procedures can be followed.

 I CALLED CUST BACK TO ADVISE THE SEAT CORES CAN BE ORDERED AND ADVISED MS SHE ONLY HAS A 1 YR WARRANTY ON THE SVC ... CUST SAID THE SEAT CORES HAVE ALREADY BEEN ORDERED?? ... AFTER FURTHER CHECKING [redacted] ORDERED THE SEAT CORE ON [redacted] PART ORDERS [redacted],[redacted] AND [redacted] ...THE PARTS ARE HERE ALREADY! ...I CALLED CUST BACK TO ADVISE ... THERE WAS NOT ANSWER .. SO I LEFT A MESSAGE ON THE MACHINE ...
This should settle the issue?

Southern Motion carries a one year warranty on all covers (fabrics, vinyls, bonded leathers, top grain leathers). Her item(s) are from 2011. While it would be our pleasure to be of service, she is correct that the material she has on her piece is discontinued and no longer available to us, therefore...

we are physically unable to produce any cut/sewn parts for her furniture. As her piece is three years old she is well outside the one year cover warranty and as such is the case we can not authorize replacement of her furniture at this time.

Me and my husband bought a southern motion sectional in Feb 2013. within that year the couch needed repaired. after that year that motor in one section broke, and all the stuffing from the leg rests is falling out. one day in 2015 my sons foot got stuck in the leg rest area and it was broken. please tell me how this is safe knowing that someone can get hurt because of how poorly this $5000 couch is made? fast forward to today, the couch that is just over 3 years old is falling apart. I do not have the money to have this couch fixed over and over again. it's a complete piece of garbage and no one from the retail store or manufacture are trying to help fix the problems. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

I didn't see anywhere in the complaint the style or cover number.
If this is the bonded leather cover, we have a bonded prorate that we use and is driven by their date of purchase.
If this is the case, the amount provided to the store is the correct amount allowed for the bonded...

Purchased on 4/1/2017 delivered I believe towards end of april.Purchased at [redacted] 2 identical couches manufactured by southern motion.total of sale was 2,522.77 to my credit...

card just for couches.Started to peel within months ,peeling on 4 out of 6 seats and arm is loose,mechanism on one of the couches is bumping.There have been numerous negative reviews on the their products with same issues .Why they continue to sell these faulty products to consumers with no respoiblity is unfair .If they wanted to they have the capacity to work with ** to refund my money for this faulty product that will only do again after repair.I am beside myself with the money I have put out on this JUNK .Suprise being a repeat customer over years that jv has not helped me with this issue.

There product is very poorly developed for the price you pay, And no support from the retailer who sold it. I would like to know why the leather material is coming off my Branson Power Recliner.

After reading some of the other reviews, I don't know if this will help anyone in the future. Obviously I should've researched Southern Motion furniture before I purchased and wasted my money at [redacted]! Which was also no help. Furniture is 15 months old and one of the recliners in the love seat is broken! Due to the staples in the center support, which runs sie to side, coming out on one side causing the top part of the framing to crack. [redacted] wants to charge me $50 to check it out, $100 to pick it up, $70 per hour labor and another $100 to deliver it back. Southern Motion covers parts, which by the way, is particle board! Most of its not even real wood! How the hell do they expect particle board to last? We will never purchase furniture from [redacted] and made by Sothern Motion again. Hopefully this pre warns or helps some of you in th future!

I am not happy with the quality of the furniture. For spending over $2000 I don't expect wearing within the first 90 days. I want a refund not repairs due to poor quality overall
