Sparkle Tech Window Washing Reviews (55)

Our home has lots of glass and keeping our windows clean has been an expensive process with varying results. I first contacted Sparkle Tech by responding to a mailed advertisement. Their price was attractive, so I thought I would try them out. We have lived in our home in Fountain Hills for 23 years and these guys are the team we have been looking for so long. They arrive on time with two or three people and go about their business in a friendly, no-nonsense manner. Not only is their price right, but their cleaning performance is FAR superior to any other company we contracted with in the past. They will be our go-to windows cleaners for the foreseeable future.

This is our last response to this issue we showed up to our appointment as promised on time and we spoke to your husband, remember you were on the phone when we were speaking to your husband and you said no to the fine print and we left and now your here to say what!!!!Why are you complaining to us the fine print is a [redacted] issue we have no control of it,your barking up the wrong tree.WE HAVE TO FOLLOW THE FINE PRINT. Whoa! Unbelievable! Don't get involved with this company! Now I know why they are not Revdex.com accredited! I purchased a Living Social voucher for "Interior and exterior cleaning of 20 window panes." When I called to schedule an appointment, one of the owners insisted that they will only do a "complete job" and that they will not send someone out to do "partial work" meaning that if I have 50 panes, they will insist on cleaning and charging me for all 50, not just the 20 I bought the voucher for. Not only that, but they will insist on cleaning AND CHARGING an additional $2 per track. I do not want the tracks cleaned. I want only the 20 window panes that I bought the voucher for cleaned. The fine print states "Valid for window panes only*Additional $4 per window pane*Additional $2 per track cleaning*Additional $2 per bug screen cleaning*Additional fees apply for French pane windows." No where does it state that the customer will be expected / required / charged for any panes exceeding the 20 nor does it state that the track cleaning is required. Also, the co-owner stated that I'm the only customer who has complained about the "fine print" but now that I see the reviews here and elsewhere, I can see she was not being truthful about that either. All in all, Sparkle Tech has been deceptive, misleading, and has tried to push the blame of the fine print on to Living Social. Living Social has proven their customer service leads to customer satisfaction; Sparkle Tech is simply trying to deceive potential customers. The co-owner went on to tell me that the purpose of the LS voucher is to try to win customers which I totally understand and would expect, however she will only continue to frustrate and turn off customers with false advertising. Thank goodness Living Social stands behind its promises b/c Sparkle Tech does not.

No Money was spent with Sparkle Tech we do not collect money for vouchers so contact the company where you bought the voucher.Second here is your fine print that is on your voucher.

I have had [redacted] and his sons washing my windows for the past four years. They come out twice a year and super clean my windows and screens. The crew is very efficient when they clean. You wouldn't know they were in your home. They are mindful of moving and replacing furniture without damage. I'm always amazed at how dirty the windows WERE atfter seeing the clean results of their work. The screens look new after the crew scrubs them up. Why call another window cleaning company? Sparkle Tech is THE BEST!!

Had our windows washed today by Sparkle Tech and they did a wonderful job. Both men were very professional, one doing outside and the other inside. The windows are sparkling and price was reasonable. Price included the screens and mirrors. Thank you.

I have used Sparkle Tech at least six times over the past three years to clean windows - and mirrors - inside and out - of my homes. They are easy to work with and to make appointments. They have always arrived on time - two or three workmen usually- and the quality of their work is excellent. They are neat, tidy and efficient.
I have recommended them to friends and neighbors who have been equally satisfied.

Hello,

I did not have the opportunity to respond to the last response from the owner of Sparkle Tech.

I would like to have the opportunity to inform the owner that I did look up the word “additional” in the dictionary and the word “required” and it provides two different definitions.

Anyhow, I’m extremely familiar with the Bait and Switch scam conducted by many companies and this is clearly one of them. I spoke to this company at least three times if not four on the phone and I was not informed that it is required/mandatory that I pay for each window track and sunscreen in order to use my voucher. I purchased the voucher thinking that I will receive Interior and Exterior cleaning for 20 window panes and if I wanted to purchase the additional services, I could. It was optional not required. I was not made aware of this requirement until the tech arrived at my house and yes I said No I’m not going to pay $240 on top of what I already paid to get my windows cleaned.

I recommend that the voucher defines what the company means by “no partial window cleaning accepted” and that the word “required” is used instead of “additional”. The voucher states “additional $4 per window pane”; average consumer would assume that this means if I have more than 20 window panes to be cleaned there is additional fee of $4. Does the consumer have to get all window panes cleaned in their home? My guess is that it’s optional. The Fine Print continues to use the word “additional” for the other services; again if would like to have the service completed and not required. The Fine Print must be written in a way for the “average” consumer to understand. I wouldn’t say that I’m the average consumer since I deal with legal disclosures in my day to day work. I shared the voucher with my team and all eight individuals and all eight had the same understanding that I did. The way this Fine Print is worded causes the consumer to believe that they received an awesome deal and will be getting 20 window panes cleaned for $35. However, once the company arrives at the home (not on the phone when the appointment is being made) the consumer finds out that it’s really hundreds more; typical Bait and Switch.

I understand that Sparkle Tech might be restricted to what they can and cannot include in the Fine Print due to [redacted] requirements; however, the responsibility still falls to the company Sparkle Tech to do the right thing. If they are aware of the wording and the misinterpretation that it might have; this is still their responsibility and should not do business with [redacted].

I would like to request that the Revdex.com opens my case to ensure that other consumers don’t get caught in this Bait and Switch scam.

Thank you for your time.

I have used this family run business for years, and I am very satisfied. They are quick, efficient, and my windows and screens look fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone. Extremely punctual, and very accomodating. I have never had any problems, and I have a two story home, with 23 windows and screens, plus sliding glass door. All look crystal clear.

We are snowbirds and this is the first time we've used a window cleaning service. James did a great job, inside and outside, and we are very pleased! I chose Sparkle Tech largely based on positive reviews, here and on Yelp, and it was a good decision.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The business provided a copy of the fine print from the voucher and you can clearing see that it states "additional fees voucher only for window panes". I only wanted to get the window panes cleaned; however, the business stated that I could not get my window panes cleaned without purchasing the additional items. I have contacted [redacted] in regards to this issue; however, I still have an outstanding issue with this company. The company has wasted my time and now I have an event taking place at my home and the windows are not cleaned. This was not a last minute appointment with this company. My original appointment was scheduled at the end of March which the company did not show up for and did not contact me to inform me that my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I know how to read the fine print; there is no need to put your comments in all Caps. My concern is that the company offered a 20 window pane cleaning service and failed to disclose to the consumer that it's mandatory to purchase the other cleaning services in order to receive the window panel service. This is a typical bait and switch that is not allowed and companies get sued for performing this type of advertising.
I have attempted to resolve this issue with the company directly; however, your representative [redacted] was extremely unprofessional and rude. The company left me no other option but to contact the Revdex.com.

Always excellent service. Very courteous and will call if delayed to your appointment. Have recommended to neighbors and family members.

Great job / on time / good price / two story house / best job we have ever had

Recommended by a neighbor. The 2 service people called before they were to arrive, were all business, courteous, tidy and friendly. They did a BEAUTIFUL job on our almost-all-glass house. They are a family-owned and operated business, and their work surprisingly good.
