communicate directly with the owner of a particular account. Please direct the person who activated this account to contact us from the email address associated with this Square account, and we will be happy to assist them."
Unfortunately, for security purposes, Square cannot disclose further details on this account.

We have been in communication with Square via the email associated with the account. We continue to get the same response - that their decision to deactivate our account is final. The decision cannot be reversed and they cannot provide additional details. In the meantime they continue to hold our funds for XXX - XXX days from the date of deactivation.
There is a severe lack of customer service associated with this Company. They do not provide you the opportunity to speak with them regarding their decision. Their email correspondence explains nothing. They continue to hold the money that is due to us. All consumers should be aware of this before dealing with this company.

DON'T USE SQUARE! Had an issue with my account, asked to speak with a manager and was refused. After asking politely numerous times for a manager I was placed on hold for 15 minutes, agent came back and then told me she had to "release" the call because speaking to a manager was "not an option". When sending and receiving money frequently I would like to have peace of mind that the individuals processing my payments have a genuine care for myself and my business. This was not the case and I will no longer be doing business with Square. Utterly disgusted at how customer service is handled with this company.

was a pending charge and not an actual charge. In a few business days, these charges will drop off the credit card's account statement.

Resolved - but generally very poor customer service response. The second charge did in fact fall off, but was followed up with a mysterious credit that lingered for another week. During the total week and a half, I had to reschedule bill pays and make arrangements to pay the recipient had the charges not sorted themselves out. Expect a bit faster response from a payment processor. Looking for alternative services.
