On 8/21/ *** *** contacted Atlas Butler regarding her year old air conditioner was not workingShe was offered the Elite Comfort club maintenance contract that offers great benefits she signed up via phone for $per month She was advised the $diagnostic fee is waved for
members and 30% discount on repairs Atlas Butler's certified technician Chris G*** arrived at Ms***'s residence on 8/21/at 7:30pmUpon arrival he diagnosed a bad capacitor Atlas Butler's certified technician Chris G*** made repairs as a test while client was on the phone and worked out pricing once they figured out everything else is workingMs*** paid $in cash and $on a Visa credit cardShe called Atlas Butler on 8/22/request to speak with a manager, Atlas Butler's Residential Field Manager Lee M*** advised Ms*** Atlas Butler will not complete any repairs without the customers authorizationMs*** claims her son found the capacitor online for $Lee M*** explained there is a year warranty on the capacitor, labor, part and installation of the capacitor by Nate certified techniciann are at this is included in the priceMs*** requested to canceled the Elite maintenance agreement MrM*** advised her of the discounts she received with the maintenance contractMrM*** advised her retail for the capacitor eplacement $428 and Diagnostic is $for a total of $after deducting the $paid and $payment for the Elite Comfort Club she woud owe $Ms*** requested we cancel plan and bill her the differenceAtlas Butler canceled the Elite Comfort Club and mailed an invoice for $Atlas Butler will stand firm on the balance owed by Ms*** of $for services rendered

I am rejecting this response because:1) AB inspector mislead me to replace my furnaceHe did not do sufficient inspection to confirm if there is any gas leaking before shutting down my furnaceHis action forced me to replace the furnaceBecause the exchanger from my furnace looked in great condition(see attached photo), I highly doubt he is intentionally mislead me to make money.2) I filled the exchanger with water after the furnace was replaced and discardedAn AB representative took out the exchanger and took it back for inspectionI did not destroy the furnace in the first placeHere AB is misleading the issue again

Jan21, 2017Dear *** ** ***,Upon your reply I noticed you said *** *** diagnoses found a broken leg on motor due to wheel being out of balance.This started back on 1/29/when technician had problems putting blower wheel back together - several timesThus our phone call to Atlas ButlerWe now had vibration noise from the technician who dropped our blower wheel causing it to be out of balance during his cleaning leading to the cause of the broken leg on motor on 10/17/Richard found blocks of wood under blower wheel housing that the other technician used to reduce the noise and said our unit didn't need to be taken apart, but he did notice the noise*** never took our unit apart!With what happened I never should have paid due to the incident on 1/29/and making that clear to Atlas Butler with our phone callWe should be refunded.Respectfully,Mr*** ** ***

Base on the technicians diagnostics the unit had melted wiring and a damaged contactorBased on the type of repair needed the unit would not be operable to further perform diagnostics until the initial issue was resolvedAfter the technician made the repair and was able to further diagnose unit the technician found that the unit had multiple issuesThe remaining issues the A/C had can not be detected without the unit running, therefore the initial repair of the contactor and burnt wiring had to be performed to perform a full diagnostic of the equipmentThe other issues found where properly conveyed to the client per tech notes and signed receiptBased on the proper recommendations that were made and the client being advised of the issues and choosing not to proceed any further with the repairs or replacement we will not be issuing a refund

First of all, I called Atlas Butler for a quote and the girl said it would be $for to diagnose the problemI asked her if there would be any other charges,she said the $and if any parts were needed I would have to pay for themAfter Atlas Butler came they found the motor needed replaced which I agreed to as the Tech Matt told me it was under warrantyMatt DID NOT TELL ME IT WOULD COST ANY MORE MONEYI DID NOT KNOW AND WAS NOT TOLD IT WOULD COST $FOR LABOR UNTIL AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE OR I WOULD HAVE REFUSED AND GOT SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT CHEAPER After the job was over Matt told me it would be $for the workI WAS SHOCKED AND TOLD MATT IT SEEMED AWFUL HIGH FOR LABOR TO WHICH HE AGREED IT SOUNDED A LITTLE HIGH but it was what the company wanted to charge after he called themI couldn't afford that amount of money so he handed me the finance paper to sign so they could get paid and I could pay it off in about three months AFTER THE JOB WAS DONEThe invoice was made up AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE AND SENT TO MY E MAIL, I HAD REQUESTED THAT THE INVOICE BE BROKEN DOWN AS TO WHAT THE CHARGES WERE FOR AND TO ADD THE ONE YHEAR WARRANTY ON THE PART OR IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN DONE.; I felt I had no choice since the job was already done but to sign it and let him goAGAIN, I WOULD HAVE REFUSED THE OFFER TO FIX THE FURNACE IF I HAD KNOWN BEFORE HAND IT WAS GOING TO COST ME $ I called *** and asked them what they would have charged and they said $for diagnose and $hour thereafter since the part was under warrantyi then called *** who told me they would have charged $for diagnose and $75/hrthereafterThose would have been a fair prices.$hour for labor is outrageous I would willingly pay the $for diagnose and $hour x hrs= $total

Per our Residential Field manager *** *** he agreed to wave the $for the blower wheel and the $diagnostic replaced the blower wheel a no charge and waved the $diagnostic charging for the motor $out of good faith*** *** authorized the repairs and agreed to the pricing and wrote a check #*** for $on 12/1/Atlas Butler has canceled the maintenance contract with no further charges and will stand firm on our decision no additional refunds will be issued

I would like to correct my last response Ms*** signed up for the Elite Comfort Club membership with Atlas Butler's certified technician Chris G*** to receive discounts on her repairs. She called in the day after her repairs were completed to cancel her membership which gave a 30% discount off her repairs and waved the $cost for the diagnostic. The invoices we provide do not give a breakdown labor, parts and warranty all included in the priceAtlas Butler's Residential Field Manager Lee M*** would have been more than happy to come back out double checked the work preformedMS*** still has a year warranty on the capacitor.

I am rejecting this response because:First of all, on my question, Chris called me and apologies that he misunderstood and forget to leave the old parts and told me that his supervisor may compensate for this mistake but nobody try to do thisThey have said that they have proof of this installation so month and half ago I have requested to send me the proof but they did not even bother to reply me that is why I contact Revdex.com.Secondly, other competitive companies do the same job for less that $and they did say “Satisfaction is guaranteed” but they did not even try to satisfy me because they have overcharge meFinally, I have mistrust and very disappointed from Atlas, so that is why I have requested to cancel my programI will request Revdex.com to look into this matter and decide further, because they charge me $for the job other companies do less than $and now this program cost me $moreI cannot afford thisRevdex.com please see customers comments on their website and you will find 80% customer have complaint of overcharging.

*** *** contacted Atlas Butler on 9/7/at 11:22am for her air conditioner that was not workingWe scheduled our certified technician Lee G*** between 4:00-6:00pm.Ms*** was advised by our CSR Whitney the diagnostic fee would be $Atlas Butler's certified technician Lee G*** arrived
at *** *** Drive at 4:10pm upon arrival he discovered the air conditioner was bone dry had absolutely zero refrigerant compressor has pool vacuum online set and both coils looks as though outdoor condensing coil had a blowout when shutting the unit off unable to actually pinpoint leak but it's leaking in aluminum to copper coil Slender the client that adding refrigerant it would be gone that there would be a repair needed to hold the refrigerant also explained that that is Factory welds unable to weld in the field that we would have to replace the condensing coil recommended replacing the entire air conditioner Lee G*** departed at 5:10pm. Ms*** accepted the recommendation for a Comfort Advisor to come to her home to discuss replacement of the air conditionerAtlas Butler's Comfort Advisor Mark D*** arrive at *** *** Drive at 6:00pm to provide a quote at no cost for a new air conditionerMs*** has not contacted our office after the initial visit to advise us that she was not satisfied with diagnosis on 9/7/in the event she contacted our office we would be more than happy to send a field manager out for a second opinion/diagnosis.

after? completing his diagnosis he? recommended replacement of the hot water tank quoting $for the gallon gas hot water heater*** ***? authorized the replacement and agreed to the cost providing Steve with her Master CardOn 5/16/***'s daughter *** called our office on 5/16/in for a break down of the charges for the invoice of $It has been explained to *** by the plumbing manager Brain P*** Atlas Butler does not breakdown the charges on their invoicesThe charges include the replacement of the HWT by a licensed Plumber, labor and? warranty on the equipment etcAtlas Butler will not complete any repairs or replacements without pre-authorization of work that will be completed along with the cost.? I am rejecting this response because:This is an unreasonable responseWhy I am using other company? Because Revdex.com shut down my furnace, gave me a sky high price to replace my prior furnace with an unknown brand? I have to have somebody replace it? They are misleading, trying to fool me to replace my brand new furnace.? Anybody in my position will use other companyAnybody can tell it is their fault, they refuse to admit it.? Why I filled water? Because the furnace was already replaced and trashed! I wanted to find out if it was leak or not! I did not sign up by phone before tech came to houseIt was only after he did repairs and told me the price that they sold me the elite deal to lower price since I could not afford the amount they chargedI was not told of price before he did the repairs or I would have said to not complete repairsThey refuse to give me a detailed invoice of what all is involved in that charge.I feel this is scamming and willing to take this as far as I need to since after days the unit is no longer workingAnd I will have to call another company out to fix unit
