We used Statewide Remodeling for a shower installation with glass enclosure. It turned out great. I recognize that all companies have some communication problems but our project manager was very good at remedying whatever came up. The project was completed on time and the crew was always polite and conscious of doing daily cleanup. I would use them again.

My husband and I had been shopping in Sam's Club in Round Rock and was approached by a lady promoting Statewide Remodeling, Inc. We were considering starting to get estimates for new siding so, it was perfect timing. Within a week, we had a complete estimate for the siding job. We decided to go with Statewide Remodeling, Inc. based upon their reputation and affordability. They took care of all of the City of Austin permitting and the Brushy Creek Village MUD HOA permitting for us. Once the job was started, everything went great. The guys were always on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They also answered all of our questions/concerns that we had. Moses even went out of his way to help us install a new outdoor light which was above and beyond his call of duty. I highly recommend Statewide Remodeling, Inc.!

I have nothing but great things to say about Statewide Remodeling, Inc. I actually never leave reviews, but feel they deserve a shout out. Everything was explained and executed perfectly. We love our new shower. All of the workers were very professional and kept everything cleaned up. I have already recommended Statewide to my coworkers. I will be using them for future remodels in our home.

First business that I have seen that will not give you a written quote. Told that I could write down the estimate, but could not have a copy of estimate. Offer of 30% discount if sign contract before receiving a copy of contract. This business seems to be trying to take advantage of Harvey victims.

Statewide Remodeling Response

This review is totally inaccurate. We will leave a quote with any customer who asks. We only write up a contract when all parties have agreed on the scope of the work and the price. We are not trying to take advantage of anyone. We charge nothing for our estimates. If someone does not like our price they should just say that vs posting wrong information. We have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com because after 23 years In business and over 50,000 completed jobs we treat our customers fairly. Frank *** EVP/partner XXX-XXX-XXXX

The response is inaccurate. I stand by my initial review. The Statewide rep would not provide a copy of a contract; He said that it was against company policy. He also pressured me by saying discounts were only good at time of inspection. Beware of this company.

what I have stated is our company policy. I understand there are two sides to every story. I stand by what I put in writing. Our company history stands for itself. Our current offer for the work they requested is 20% and is good for 30 days from the time of initial visit. We do offer a first inspection discount and it is good on the initial visit only. By writing the order on the first visit it prevents us from having to reschedule other appointments to go back and see customers who we have already given an estimate to. We tell the customer that we know that this option is not for everyone. My apologizes to this home owner. I am sorry we did not meet their expectations

Overall our experience was positive. We had Statewide remodel a shower/tub combo into a walk-in shower. They were professional and the price was substantially lower than the other bids we got. An initial concern for me is "you pay for what you get" but the remodel was very well done with quality products. The only complaint would be a disconnect between Statewide and the glass installer. We were given multiple installation dates and the glass ended up being installed earlier than we were told, which was great, but Statewide had no idea the glass company came out to do the installation as they had been told it would be the following week. Overall good experience, would recommend.

We purchased a Koehler Walk in bath tub from Statewide and also had them install it. I am really impressed with their level of knowledge and service on this product. The sales rep was professional as was the service lead. The tub was installed in less then 6 hours and looks great.

We recently replace all the windows in our home. Statewide did a great job from our salesman to the crew who came to replace the windows. All our questions were answered on a timely basis, the crew was courteous, efficient and cleaned up everything. Other than my beautiful windows you would not have known anything took place. My husband and I are extremely pleased with our experience.

I had a very *** experience with Statewide Remodeling! The sales rep that came to my house was very thorough and I felt good about my investment in my new windows! The guys that came to install my windows were very courteous and cleaned up to my standards afterwards! The only issue in the process was that they weren't able to come at the promised time due to an issue at the shop...but the work they did made it ok! I definitely recommend this company and look forward to using them in the future!

Statewide just finished a remodel of our master bathroom. Hands down I am highly satisfied with the results. The contractor, Karl and his assistant, Rey, were extremely skilled at what they do and highly understanding of what my wife and I wanted. The service from Statewide was better than I was expecting from a contracting company as they consistently called us to make sure everything was going well with the work. We sent the company pictures of our finished bathroom as a stamp of approval: it has become one of our favorite rooms in the house.

Broken Tile , busted drywall . Caulk all windows outside and took 6 months to come back to caulk the inside the house for the window .
Will fax you the paper work if needed .. Purchase Windows from Statewide windows under a year ago , They had me fill paper work out so I Did. At the end of the paper work they had me sign a questionnaire on the same date of signing my paper work , My fault to do this because that's what they are using against me . Work was never done yet so why would I be doing a Questionnaire when they haven't even stated the work. I have the Questionnaire work and paper work with date on it. So now the problem is workers came out put my windows in in one day, They caulk all the windows outside so I was assuming they were done.. Took a walk around the house .. told the two guys who did the work .. looks good thanks ..So they left went in side to take a look a look and to see my tile in the bathroom broken on the window seal and some drywall broken in the rooms ..Then couldn't believe they never caulk the inside of all my new windows all around the house . I had called them to let them know about the windows and they told me we will get some one to come out .. The First time they came out and had to reschedule because in my line of work I go out of town a lot so we reset for another day so I took that day off and a guy comes out and just takes pictures , So I tell him are you going to fix it .. He Calls someone on the phone and says ya it looks bad and tells me I'm going to show my supervisor waited again for the supervisor to call me .. Never does. So I call again another comes out Don't recall his Name but comes and takes a look and takes pictures of the broken tile and drywall and un-caulk windows all around so he tells me I'm going to show my supervisor he will call you. So he Never does. a mouth go's by supervisor never calls me so I call again spoke to someone that was a supervisor and he will have this taking care of .. 20 mins Later a worker calls me to see what I available this week. I told him can you do a weekend like sat , he tells me know , don't work on weekends. So I take another day off during the week so I can be here never comes so I call him and he says he was looking for another car because was in a accident. So I tell him so when you get your car are you coming ? never return text .. Like I said My job I go out of town for two weeks . So I call back again when I get back to try again talk to another supervisor and I said look can I get some kind of Discount on this its going on three months now .. So he tells me lets fix the repairs first then we can talk about discount ..So Another guy calls me to tell me whats a good day for me so took off again waited for him ..he Filled all my windows paste the tile together with a cracked line ..So when this worker left I told him to make sure your Supervisor calls me and he told yes he will call you .. Been going on a mouth now and no phone call. So I went on their website to give my testimonial and they never post it so I do it again and its says that their administration has to approve it . So Not a very happy campier right now with this. All new windows in my house and I get treated like this is pretty bad .

Desired Outcome

I would like a discount on these windows I paid alot of money on these and I believe I deserve a discount for all this the days I had to take off and lot money with all my air going out the windows .. Got these to save money not pay more on my electric bill.

I have reviewed the file and here is what I have found. This customer signed the completation certificate when the job was done not when it started. If you will read the document it clearly states it's a compleation survey. The reason the inside of the windows were not sealed is because this customer told us not to seal them he had a family member who was doing remodeling and he was going to seal them. When the family member did not get the work done this customer called us 6 months later and we agreed to come back and do it for him at no charge. Same thing with the broken tile. Customer knew about it at time of compleation but told our installer not to worry about it because it was going to be redone by family member. This customer contacted the finance company that we used to fund this job and made simuliar claims. After they investigated they turned down his claim. Now he is going to the Revdex.com to try and get a discount. There will be no discount as most of the issues this customer claims are at their own doing. In good faith once the Revdex.com complaint is closed I will send him a $200 gift card which will more than pay for the damaged tile that he is going to replace anyway

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Don't know where he got his answers from but all wrong . I would like the two people that first starting working on my house to call me So I can see what I told them .. That's is going to have to happen to see who is lying here . I feel they are calling me a liar and I don't appreciate it one bit . I never told them I have a family member working on my house and they were going to fill the inside of my house . They seen the new dry wall on my bathroom celling so I guess that's what they are talking about and has nothing to do with my windows . I was not going to replace the tile in my bathroom either .. This is old tile in my bath room when house was built that you can't find anymore now I'm going to have to replace all my tile in my bathroom. So hangry right now .. can't believe they are calling me a liar .. I don't want to seek legal Action if I don't need too . I could of swear I seen on the paper work it says 100 % customer satisfaction .

Multiple issues and property damages derived from remodeling project still not resolved after following up multiple times with the Company.
The Statewide Remodeling crew hired to perform my master bathroom remodel damaged the wood flooring in my bedroom, damaged one of my new vanities, damaged my newly painted walls in the master bedroom, left unpainted texture on the newly painted walls in the master bathroom, installed the defective bathtub faucet, did not order the correct bathtub faucet to match the shower they installed, and did such a poor job of grouting the new shower floor and the tub surround that there are noticeable holes. Furthermore, I have a serious concern with the quality of products that they installed because the new shower hose finish is already coming off after barely using 2 months.

I notified Brian *** (who was our assigned field supervisor) of the issues with the remodel. He took the cabinet door from my vanity that his crew damaged in order to procure a new one. He had told me multiple times he will return it, but has yet to do so. And he mentioned that when he returns the cabinet door, that he would fix the holes in the grout. Since he never return the cabinet door, we still have holes in our shower floor and the tub surrounding. Additionally, he had told me 2 Saturdays in a row that someone would be coming to fix my bedroom floors, but no one ever showed up. I followed up with Brian once more on August 14th regarding whether someone was ever coming to fix the floor and he said that someone from Statewide would be contacting me that day and that he would bring my cabinet door soon. Furthermore, I notified him that the bathtub faucet still does not work and that I want a new one ordered since the one installed is defective and I want it to match the shower. He assured me he would place an order for a new bathtub faucet and would install it once it arrived.

As I had not heard anything from Brian on the status of my cabinet door and bathtub faucet, I decided to contact Statewide's Houston Office on September 8, 2017. I let the operator know what issues I am encountering with Statewide and they told me the Production Manager was already gone for the day and that he would call me on Monday because "this is not how we treat our customers." So Monday September 11, 2017 I waited for a call from the Production Manager, which never came. On Tuesday September 12, 2017 I called Statewide's office again and had to re-tell the operator what the issues I'm dealing with are. She says she is not able to see any repair requests related to my address. I told her that I have been dealing with these issues for almost 2 months. The operator clearly understands this is a potential issue and places me on hold while she tries to locate the Production Manager. After coming back on the phone, she lets me know that the Production Manager is in a meeting and he will call me once the meeting is done. I tell her that I was already told that the Production Manager was going to call me the previous day, but they did not and she assured me that he would call right after his meeting. This did not happen. It is now September 13, 2017 which is approximately 2 months after our remodel was supposedly "complete," and I can no longer get ahold of Brian Hilburn nor can I get anyone with Statewide Remodeling to return my calls.

Desired Outcome

I want my cabinet door fixed and return it to me, hardwood floor fixed, new bathtub faucet installed which matches with shower handle, fill the holes in the shower floor and tub area with grout( for shower floor, need to make sure no mold has grown first), replace shower hose since finish is coming off( hopefully better quality one) asap.
