I purchased a Stauer Compendium Hybrid watch about a month agoApart from the fact that it takes a few days to figure out how to set all the functions of the watch, so far I am very satisfied with the watch and the priceI think the $shipping charge was about twice what it should be though

Doesn't address the issues: One ring was missing a stone when it arrived---the other ring (which I paid for guarantee replacement for two years) small stones on side fell out after a brief timeFollowing company instructions---put rings in brown envelope---letter of explanation---information on order and problemAsk the two rings be replaced in daysStill don't have the ringsCalled at least times, was told it was a postal problemThat they would forward the issue to a higher up supervisor and get back to meThey never didI was not satisfied and told them, since I was a Platinum Club member and had ordered a wide range of items from them over a number of years---didn't understand why they were not immediately replacing the rings

I purchased what was advertised as "African blue opal" discs made into a necklace, earrings and bracelet What I received looks and feels like plastic, and there is actually a seam around each disc which indicates it has been molded in a form, and pressed together, and is probably ground turquoise mixed with some type of plastic The "silver" spacer beads are plastic! I disassembled the necklace to restring it with black spacer beads, thinking I could combine the discs from the necklace and bracelet into a longer strand, but it did not work, so now I cannot return the set since I have changed it DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR PRODUCTS!!! The Stauer company is a rip off

We have talked to the recipient of this gift and advised we cannot refund her someone else's money. However, as a gesture of good will, we advised her to keep the watch and pick an item for $or less and we will send it to her for free. She seemed to think this was fair

I am very unhappy with Stauer company because I paid them for a watch and do not possess the watchI have no product but they have my moneyThat is not the way that legal business worksIt is called thievery and is illegalAs far as I am concerned, the Stauer company are simple thievesI will not stand for illegal chicanery and neither should the Revdex.com
This case is not resolved and I am not satisfiedI have tried to resolve the issue in a civilized manner by writing to the chairman of StauerHe does not have the common courtesy or business acumen to respondThat is reprehensible

Stauer failed to ship promised items, placed in a time sensitive order, notify me of the delays or provide adequate customer service The Stauer customer service representative I spoke with and placed an order with told me that everything in my order was in stock other than a ring set and would be shipped to me immediately, to arrive no later than a week from the date of the order placement, with the items on backorder to arrive two weeks later I told the customer service representative that one of the items was a gift for someone's birthday and I definitely needed them within the time window she described She assured me they would be delivered timely and all would be well
The date promised came and went with no word from Stauer other than an email confirm, which listed all items as in stock When the items did not arrive as promised, I checked the tracking number given me and it came up with no data at all I called Stauer Customer Service, who told me that now all items are backordered except one, which hasn't been shipped out for reasons he could not explain The rep stated that he was unfamiliar with the items ordered and had no idea when they would come back into stock or when they would be shipped I asked why the in-stock item had not been shipped The rep said he didn't know I asked the rep to ship the item He said he would but he would charge me up from the shipping and handling charges for the two backordered items if he did I stated that since he could not tell me when those items would come back in stock or ship, I did not want to pay out any advance shipping costs for them The rep said Stauer's policy is to charge all shipping up front and that Stauer cannot guarantee backordered items will ever come into stock and cannot even estimate as to when they might ship out; perhaps never I asked why Stauer had not notified me of this He didn't know I asked why the original sales representative told me everything was in stock, other than one item which was two weeks delayed, and would ship that day He didn't know I asked if he would waive shipping charges as a courtesy for failing to ship the in stock item when ordered, as promised, and for failing to notify me of the backordered change of status to the other supposedly in stock items and for changing the estimated ship time on the backordered item from two weeks to "maybe never," again, without any independent notification to the customer He said no I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said Stauer has no customer service supervisors available and refused to allow me to speak to anyone else At that point, I found the call inefficient and asked him to ship what was in stock without shipping charges
It is bad business to give a customer erroneous information for items the customer states are a gift and that they need by a date certain and then, fail to notify the customer of the error or ship any of the items - in stock or not Stauer also failed to provide knowledgeable service staff Stauer advertises products as plentiful and available, yet did not ship these items when ordered, despite promising to do so Order from this business only if you are alright with misinformed and unprofessional sales representatives and knowing what you order may never get to you

Return label was sent to customer on 8/18/17, we received the return on 9/7/and it was processed on 9/22/for $refund This should have been a $refund Today we have refunded the $plus his shipping charge of $for a total refund of $ The customer will see
