I received a letter from a collection agency who states they contact Salt River project to confirm an amount that I owe for an address that I never lived atI believe IF they did an investigation and states I lived at the address [redacted] is not honestThe information on my credit report is not fair or accurate and hey refuse to remove that negative remark

My husband is the primary email and I am secondaryHe sent me the invitation to attend the EXPOI filled out the information and was rejectedI called SRP, and it was suggested that I put in my husbands emailI did; it was rejectedI called again, and the second person told me to put all my husbands information in, and it was accepted Secondary email persons should have access to information as readily as primaryIf the expectation is that I should pay the bill if my husband cannot for any reason, then my expectation is reciprocalI would like access to the information and events without having to go through my husbandThis business practice is not consumer friendly and fits antiquated business practicesI would suggest that the secondary email should be able to have access to everything the primary person has availableThis could be achieved by allowing each party to click on a questionnaire for accessThis way it can be controlled and changed by the consumer

SRP is the worstToday we are in the midst of yet ANOTHER power outage- this is the third one since 7/29- the other two were 12+ hours longThe prob starts benign enough, saying there will be a roughly hour outageNo big deal, right? Except then you check and it's now hoursThen it's hoursIt makes it impossible to plan for, and meanwhile I'm lugging our infant daughter and pets to friends/family/hotels that can accommodate us because *newsflash [redacted] SRP- it's summer and the house quickly reaches 90+ degreesSRP does nothing in the manner of apologizing or customer service except to say that yet another underground line has blownThere is no energy credit, no grocery credit (for the two times I've now had to clear out my fridge), and no clear plan as to how they're going to prevent this in the futureThanks for nothing, SRP

I just wanted to share my story. SRP disconnected my power without notifying me by call, email, mail from a returned check. They told me it was illegal for them to in the state of AZ. After explaining my situation, fully disabled with MS, living alone, with required medical equipment to run during the night, with my income only being 733 a month. I was told to produce 500 dollars in cash to restore services, and that I am SOL if I cannot. No joke, their representative said, 'Well you are SOL then.' Until you can. Well big surprise, I was hospitalized last night because my oxygen levels were gravely low, due to the fact that my OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR was unable to run from my power being disconnected. I feel SRP is personally responsible; offered no solutions to my problem. Also all my cold stored groceries for the month are expired. Joys of living a fixed income. Guess I will have to find a shelter to feed myself. Very disappointed SRP customer.

I am still waiting to be compensated for what srp has ruined by just cutting powerThousands in grocerys and now my PSis destroyed because the power gets cut off while it’s on!!!! Horrible horrible horrible companyThey get away with what the do because we have no other optionsI just broke my back and hired a injury lawyerOnce all that is taken care of you best bet I’m taking them to court

Power outages are becoming a common occurrence in our neighborhood It seems like always a few surrounding street blocks SRP has no logical answers for the outages Last weekend we had outages & today it happened again If you look at their website they claim they could not determine the cause of the outagesIt was not storm or heat related It just makes no sense that they cannot fix the issue In the last couple of years, they have increased in frequency & duration SRP talks big in their ads but they sure as heck don’t live up to their claims To call them is pointless because all they do is repeat the same ole, same ole from their notifications Like the other customers I would go elsewhere in a heartbeat Unfortunately, we are stuck with crappy service!!!

The SRP type of plan I have is the M-Power planOn Nov 19th (Saturday) I Loaded my card into the M-Power Box to load the money I loaded to fund the electricity in my home while I was gone for the holidayWhen I loaded the card the M-power Box said it loaded the amount I paidI checked my M-Power box and the balance was at CentsMy Ride was waiting for me outside as I was leaving to catch my flight homeI called SRP and I spoke with themShe assured me the Electricity would be on while I was gone and Sunday I will pay any differencesI agreedI was absolutely okay with thatI live alone in ArizonaNo one has access to my placeOnly electricity that was being used in the home was the fridgeMy main concern was the food I purchased would go to wasteit was a lot of foodI was assured it wouldn't beThe M-Power box is provided by SRPI load my card up with money and load the card into the M-Power boxI did exactly thatI came back home Nov to find my electricit

These are horrible people who literally are waiting for the opportunity to disconnect youThey fail heir word CONSTANTLYI filed a complaint and was told to speak to Sean in consumer affairs, and no one else, when I called, they told HE LEFT THE DEPARTMENTWell, he can call me, or I'm not talking to anyone! This time, they are going to keep their word

I have attempted to contact SRP about the number of outages my neighborhood and myself have experienced several times and have not received adequate responseAt this point some time of compensation needs to be involvedHere are a list of the past months outages10/- 1:50-3:50PM 9/9/- 10:49-12:29PM 9/- restored 12:8/- 12:54-2:55PM 8/- 5:32-7:45PM 8/5:37-6:50PM 7/12:26-1:22PM 7/12:02-3:18AM 7/9:57PM-12AM 6/6:37-7:42PM This doesn't include the numerous outages that have occurred before 6/I requested a list of all outages over the past months from SRP and would be happy to provide that for more detail if neededI have lived in the valley in different homes over the past yearsI had maybe instances of power outage over those years totalI have contacted SRP seperate times yet these outages continueI also had to replace part of my HVAC due to a surge in power that damaged it after one of the numerous power outagesThat ended up cost

SRP HAS THE WORST APP AND COMPANY EVERI SUBMITTED ONE PAYMENT ONE TIME DURING THIS MONTH AND FIVE DAYS LATER THEY CHARGED MY CARD WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION! I GAVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT AND CALLED SRP FIRSTTHEY SAID I DO NOT SEE THEY PAYMENT WHERE THE PAYMENT MADE THE FIVE DAYS LATERI WAS THEN ADVISED TO CALL MY BANKSO I DID AND REPORTED IT FRAUDNOW LAST NIGHT I PUT $ON THE KIOSK AND NOW IM OUT OF POWER THIS MORNINGI CALLED AGAIN THEY STATED IT WAS A $BALANCED I OWED FROM THE FRAUD I REPORTED! THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND BLAMED IT ON ME

I have had the SRP M-Power box for over yearsI had it at *** * *** *** *** *** and then moved to *** * *** ** *** *** and transferred my servicesIn the beginning of April I put money on my card and noticed it took my funds and showed that I owed a balance on my account?I called SRP, the rep said I had services at another location as well and I had not paid!! I told her my previous address and explained that I haven't lived anywhere else so someone must have used my informationShe put me on hold for over minutes, I finally hung upNow here we are end of April and my money is still being takenNo call back from SRP, nothing! They had no worry about possible fraud and haven't bother to do their job but are continuing to take my money for something that IS NOT MINE!

I wish to god someone would come along and give us another optionThese guys are gangsterThey were overcharging me a ton of money at one point at my old place, ended up owing them hundreds, and I am constantly having to babysit their little boxMake one mistake and your power will get cut off abruptlyThey come along and totally suck money out of Arizona in the summer it is like dollars a DAY to cool my tiny apartmentSince switching over to their stupid Mpower box I am constantly having to drive to pay centers and swipe cards, if not that then I will accidentally forget to pay, at which point they turn off your ability to pay with the APP unless you call and ask for a superviser and have an awkward situationThey just suckWE NEED SOMETHING ELSEdollars a month for power is absurd!!! Well, We have had SRP(M-Power ) at a previous address, and they fail to disclose fees associated with serviceAt our previous residence, we were billed accordingly as far as we knowNow, we bought a home, the prices, and Rates do not match what they have in their system(Our meter shows a rate charge of .11892/kwh) which is significantly higher than rates advertised on websiteWe have contacted SRP on separate occasions, and spoken to employees, and managers(Maria no last name, and Keith, no last name), who were unable to explain why our rates were different than the one in their systemWe were also charged a user refurbished fee of $12.55, a service establish fee of $32.76, and an advance of $30, but to transfer services, were told that it would only be a $charge which would be deducted from our box once we add money to cardThey said this is what it is, and after repeatedly asking to have a technician come out to review/calibrate our meter, they have scheduled a work o

I am currently using Surepay, where SRP deducts money from my bank account each month for my electric billI submitted a request to change the payment date from the 7th of the month to the 23rdI paid my bill in full on Jan 10th On Jan 18th I received multiple e-mails confirming my requestOne e-mail said, "Thank you for submitting your request to change your due date to the 23rd of each monthSRP will process the request using the information provided within one business day."
For some stupid reason, they charged me my full bill amount on Jan 29thI was not planning on that amount being deducted from my checking account on that date and I did not have enough money in my checking accountNow I'm being charged $by my bank for insufficient fundsPlus SRP notified me that they'll want another $because the payment amount was returned
They withdrew my money for a monthly payment days after the previous paymentI'm guessing some accountant wanted to earn extra mone

Unfortunately we have no choice for electric providers, if we did I would leave SRP today My complaint is related to customer service Today while two members in my household were working from home I heard the doorbell on my back patio ring...before I could gather my keys and get to the patio gate my electricity had been cut off When I got to the door I found an SRP employee changing my meter He was extremely rude and said he had rang the bell times This is a lie...the doorbell rang time...and again this was not even my front door He said he had just replaced our meter....well if this was scheduled why would I have not gotten notice via email, regular mail or text? They notify me of everything else Now we have lost entire days of work due to not being able to save data before we lost our power, internet, phones and to make it worse my direct tv will not even come back and I have to pay to have a dispatch to replace my receiver...thanks for being so considerate SRP

On August 5, 2018, I purchased power on my phone for $On Aug 9th, I was advised that the electronic transfer was returned and in addition to the $35.00, I would owe a fee which brought the amount owe to SRP to $ before I could add any funds to the meter for powerI was also advised that the payments made on 8/& 8/totaling $was applied to what was owed which is why my meter amount wasn’t changing (The initial call reason)On August 10th, I went to a machine and paid $taking care of the remaining amount plus the 35% and I had credit on my boxTo my knowledge, this would be the extent of the matter and I would now have to make cash only purchases for the M-Power Box
On 8/15/18, a charge for $listed as SRP Retry showed up on my accountI called in to see why it was charging again and if the charge held, I wanted to know if I would be credited the amount charged to my meter or if the charge would cancel itself out since I took care of the $

This is what I sent srp I am so furious with your horrible services! We have had our home for six years and have never been late on a payment! While we were away on vacation a payment didn't go through so for the first time in six years a payment was ten days late!
We received no email notifications, no letters, no texts messages and you turned off our power!! On one of the hottest days ever you left my animals with no ac and when I got home my house was almost adegrees!!
So what caused all this confusion? Someone supplied a wrong address and you shut off our power to switch it into someone else's name! When YOU did that you closed our old account with a history of six years! You have is a new account with no history so when the payment was late ten days you treated us like a new customer with no history and turned off our power!!
