I purchase a leather handbag for about $ I have use it for one year and three months The strappy handles fell apart and the leather split, therefore, it is not fixable When I contacted the company I was told that they could not find my order history and even if they could they would not be willing to help me in any way since the bag is over a year old And seriously....they could not find my order history? What legitimate company has this issue? I feel that this is an an EXTREMELY inferior and defective product The customer service is horrible I would caution anyone considering purchasing a Stella and Dot product, not to I couldn't be more disappointed in this company A quality leather handbag should last years

I wish I had searched for reviews before wasting my money My d-i-l had a party and I bought a necklace that cost way over $(For costume jewelry! The only reason I let myself get sucked in was being nice to d-i-l), she bought me a necklace that was about $and a bracelet that was about $ This is a ridiculous price for costume jewelry and when you see how it holds up you know you have been ripped off The gold paint on the necklaces started wearing off right away The silver paint on the inside of the bracelet wore off after a few wearings and some of the bangle beads fell off I felt badly for my d-i-l and didn't say anything until years later she brought up the jewelry and since it had been laying useless in my jewelry box I told her how shoddy it was and that I couldn't wear it after a few times Then I learned or was reminded they only have a year warranty (show how proud this company is of their product) She agreed to bring up the poor quality of these pieces to her representative but as I understand it, the rep doesn't care, the year warranty is up What a waste

I received a necklace as a Christmas Present from my husband I hated it It was from the Coventry line and he spent quite a bit of money on it We contacted the sales rep and she said no problem, we would get a refund, as there was nothing else I wanted After weeks of try to get the necklace returned and a refund, we were informed today that they are refusing to refund the money and we can only get store creditWe will be out over $I understand that there are policies in place, however, when you are talking about a Christmas present, there is no way for the purchaser to know if the item will be liked or not Also, I have a few other pieces of the Stella and Dot jewelry and found it to be way overpriced and cheaply made, which is why I did not want store credit I will be recommending to my many friends that have asked me about the jewelry to not buy it The costumer service is awful, the jewelry is not worth the prices they charge and they do not care about their costumers BUYER BEWARE!!

This issue was closed on *** *** *** by providing the customer a full return credit. Credit was held until the customer returned the product, which took a bit of extra time

I am a teacher who received an end-of-the-year gift from a parent The item was damaged After waiting several days for a return email, and waiting minutes to speak to customer support, they refused to exchange the item without the email address of the parents that gave it to me Obviously, I cannot provide this information The item in question was $in value according to the website The response time on chat, email, and phone is ridiculously long The ‘associates’ were obviously at a call center and couldn’t assist me

I received an expensive necklace as a gift two years ago The chain on the jewelry has turned dark in places and since it is a silver chain looks terrible and I am unable to wear it Below is the response I received from customer service:

I registered to be a stylist at Stella and Dot in Since then I was only able to have purchasers through themI called and asked if I can cancel the stylist and they said they will do it for meToward 2017, my card got charged for the stylist fee and I called and asked about it and they claimed that they never receive any phone calls from meThey also said that if I want to canceled, I have to fill out a form of declining to be a stylist first and then have to send a different email asking if I can get the refundI did all the process since November and until now still didn't hear from them yetmonths later I have to call them again and they say they declined to refund me my stylist fee which is almost $and I don't even use it

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: the business stated that this was an email that advertised the 50% sale That is incorrect This was a flyer I received in the mail along with a catalog with their merchandise The flyer simply said 50% off Black Friday Sale The flyer was attached on the first complaint There was no attachment, it wasn't an email, there were no instructions to specific items for the Black Friday Sale, it said, " 50% off Black Friday Sale" I strongly feel they messed up on the flyer They cannot assume the consumer will understand what they meant to say They as a business must go with what the flyer said and correct it on the next flyer they send out
They are being very very unfair to the consumer, even breaking fair trade laws If you go to buy something at any other dept store and an item is mis marked, they must sell it to you how it was marked and then go back and fix the mistake This s what is happening here They made a mustake in the wording on their flyer and now will not live up to it I am becoming very agitated with the company insulting my intelligence and acting like I am stupid and can't read I can read and comprehend They need to fix this and credit my money I will not stop until they do

Stella & Dot Customer Service provided a return label to the customer, however customer chose to send product back using her own method of delivery, S&D did not charge her the *** return cost. Unfortunately because S&D didn't have a way to track the return it took a bit longer to provide a refund, but once customer provided the tracking number, the package was located and refund provided
