Stewart Cooper & Cn is a top notch firm. The support I received was unparalleled. If you are just looking for a job, Stewart Cooper & Cn is not for you. If you want to take your career to the next level, I highly recommend.

I have had the opportunity to work with the team at Stewart, Cooper and Cn in my job search. They are all professional, knowledgeable and fun to engage with. They have a process that works and provides you with very effective materials to use in your search. The team will hold you accountable for your deliverables as well as the motivate you to complete your tasks in a timely fashion. My team coach made the effort to get to know me and would challenge me to keep going in a grace filled manner. I highly recommend this team and have shared my experience with others.

The program and professional staff at Stewart Cooper Cn provided me with the guidance and tools that I needed to have a successful transition into a new career as a senior level finance executive.

I would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs guidance and support for a successful career transition.

I highly recommend Stewart Cooper and Cn. As a former ,high ranking ,US Government official, they provided the expertise and guidance that I needed to transition into a very lucrative position in the private sector. There is no question in my mind that I would not of received the position I did, at the compensation level I got, without their expert coaching and preparation. I most heartily highly recommend!

I contracted with Stewart, Cooper & Cn with a four month career search. Their firm helped me draft a winning resume, LinkedIn account and provided personal and professional coaching to help me secure a mid-level management position with a large corporation.

I am pleased with all the guidance, resources and references, and training materials they provided to lead me to a welcoming career position. I am very satisfied in how they handle, coach and mentor their clients and will be happy to recommend their services to others seeking employment.

Thank you SC&C for helping me acquire a new career I am passionate about and making my career search more targeted to achieve this end result.

[redacted] and his team of highly talented, passionate and adept career counseling experts helped me tremendously through my (brief) career transition. It was brief as Stewart, Cooper & Cn left "no stone unturned" in inspiring and guiding me to successfully engage in my career transition campaign. From the very first contact I had with SC&C and through every day of career transition work, SC&C far exceeded my expectations and provided value tenfold. My career transition was launched on 2/5/2015 and by 2/25/2015 I had 2 offers and had participated in 15 interviews. I accepted a position earning 89% more than my 2014 earnings. Mr. [redacted] and his team taught me how to express my value to potential employers and also made sure I knew how to eloquently maximize employment offers.

Unfortunately I became unemployed for the first time in close to 40 years.Stewart ,Cooper ,& Cn, contacted me and spent about 15 mins on the phone with me taking down info that I provided in terms of my experience and what I am now looking for. Their representative was a great salesman. We spoke one more time. I felt investing in my future was worth the 5,000 which was the minimal investment for their service. They convinced me that by slightly reinventing myself I could land my ideal job.It is now 1 year later and I recently turned my focus elsewhere.PLEASE DON'T BE AS FOOLISH AS I WAS.If you are unemployed there are better ways to use the 5,000.They did not help me get a job.Good Luck.

As a senior operations executive with a career spanning nearly thirty-years, I recognize good organizations that provide extraordinary value. Stewart, Cooper and Cn is hands down one of the best organizations I have experienced. The secret is; the people they hire.

An excellent organization which offers great assistance to executives in the search of career opportunities.

The consultants and staff at Stewart, Cooper and Cn are top notch professionals. Although I was somewhat skeptical of the services they offer, I quickly changed my mind. My coach was knowledgeable, professional, and quite personable. It was like being mentored by a good friend.

My coach helped me recognize the weaknesses in my presentation and showed me how to strengthen it and really 'sell' myself.

I was able to secure a great six-figure job (using what I was taught, I was able to get an additional $10,000 plus another week of vacation). Value well worth the cost!

After just 30 minutes of speaking with Dennis, I walked away from that conversation with several valuable insights. Ultimately, those insights lead to an incredible position and a sign on bonus.

I felt that I would write this review about my experience with Stewart, Cooper & Cn and the experience that I had with their program. Stewart Cooper & Cn markets their company and each of their programs as an executive recruiting and placement firm, quoting that they are one of the best in the nation at placing candidates with companies better than the other leading executive placement companies out there. There were even stories within the city that I lived in that ranked and rated executive search companies and for the past 2 years it showed SC&C as the top company. Well, in short for the $4k+ you spend for this service my opinion is that your better off keeping your money and just utilizing the several other programs that you find on the internet for free are just as a comparable resource. Here are the series of events, as I experienced them, so you can be the judge as to whether you should spend your hard earned dollars on this company and the service they provide. I am also stating that this is my experience and I am sure there may be some clients that were satisfied with the service they paid for, I’m just giving my experience and informing future clients so they are better informed before they spend their money. When I was researching this company, I could never find a review of previous clients and the Revdex.com rating showed an A+ with ZERO complaints. I just felt that a honest review of my experience with the company will help future clients make a better informed decision. So for the ones that read this review take it for what it’s worth and decide for yourself.

When you first inquire about the company they will explain how successful they are at placing executives with perspective companies. They will have you look on their web site about all the success stories. But, you will find out that if you try and ask for previous client’s info so you may email or call them about the services, similar to references, you will get the privacy of their client speech.

After I decided to take their 2nd program, which included the 10 target companies ($4,000), I submitted my resume for their “team” to evaluate and come up with an executive resume that would better target the companies and careers that I was looking to get into.

Resume stage (time lapse 3 days):

Well, I will explain what I received that a kid in high school that can cut and paste would have done a similar job. Let me explain how I came up with that conclusion. Being that I was coming from and industry with well over 20+ years of experience, graduate school and multiple certifications the average person could see how the resume that I turned into SC&C was 2 pages in length. When I got the resume back in SC&C format, it still had the header of the previous person that SC&C resume writer had just completed. The resume writer through in an executive summary at the top of the new resume and cutout any soft skill bullet points that I had entered and ended up with 1 ½ pages. When I asked about why the resume was cut down so much, I was told that the majority of companies spend less than a couple of minutes looking at each resume and that the first page is the key. Ok, so it sounded legit since they are supposed to be the subject matter experts right? Now, part of this is my fault in the aspect that I signed off and agreed with the resume, which I shouldn’t. This decision was also based on the advice from my campaign director or whatever technical name SC&C calls their advisor, which every client is assigned one. He is the main guy that you deal with as far as questions and program details and updates. You really can get this same type and quality of resume writing yourself, just search online there are several examples across the internet. In the end, I never used the resume that SC&C drafted. I used the same one that I had turned into them to get the interview for the position I am currently working at.

Success story stage (time lapse 7-10 days):

Step 2 was the success story process. This is where you will go into their website and SC&C has a web page built with what seems like 100’s of questions about the success stories of what you have done throughout your career. The point of all the questions is that the data you put in is linked to your own web page, kind of like an extension or your resume if perspective companies would like to know more about your successes. The stories are broken into different categories that the hiring folks can toggle between. Now remember, I was told before that most hiring managers won’t read past the first page of a resume, do we really think they would pull up a link that’s on your resume to read more if they quit after the first page? I think not, but you can decide for yourself.

So between the resume that some college kid is probably doing for extra cash for beer money, they also place the link to your SC&C web page (success story) along with your LinkedIn web page at the top of the resume. Once that is all done, and you have agreed and signed off on it, you will move onto the marketing phase of your program.

FYI, your resume and personal webpage only stay on the SC&C site for 6 months, till the end of your contract with SC&C. You are welcome to keep the webpage and resume searchable, for an additional fee of course…..

Oh, I will say that the SC&C web site has a lot of exercises, they “give” you a “free” copy of Fred Cn’s book and your advisor will show you more than you even care to look at what all is on the SC&C web site.

Marketing phase (time lapse 45 days) (10 target companies):

Now, when you choose which program you are going with they explain in their sales pitch about how they have people within their network and that your resume and is sent to all of their recruiters within the network. At this time you will be talking (emailing) with your marketing coordinator, can’t remember what gee whiz term they gave the person who cold calls the 10 companies you had selected. The point of the person is to call the 10 companies that you had selected, remind you that you have done all the work so far for them. You even have to go onto their data base and look up the name, addresses, email, etc… for all 10 of your companies and send it to your marketing coordinator so they can call and email the companies. Is anyone else seeing a pattern here with this company? Who is working for whom anyways? Apparently I was working for them at the time.

The calls and emails to the 10 companies were the same over the 45 DAYS. I emphasize 45 Days because that is the maximum length of time your marketing coordinator will actually call and or email the companies to try and get you some type of interview. The emails and phone calls would go out every couple of days. In my experience the marketing coordinator was always met with a voice mail or office staff to leave a message which was never returned. After about 3 weeks I asked, why don’t we move onto different companies if we are not getting any traction with the first 10? Was told that isn’t within the program and that would change the program, and of course we could contact any different companies. Sooooo, for the next 30 days for a total of 45 days, I saw the same emails go out and the same phone calls and messages left. Now, this is all tracked and copy and pasted on the SC&C’s website to cover them to show “work” and companies that they have reached out to. At the end of the 45 days I received an email from the marketing person and stated that she had contacted the 10 companies by phone and email and tried but unsuccessful in landing and interview and that her portion of the program was over and wished me luck…LOL.

Remaining time of your 6 month contract:

During the remaining time you have left with SC&C you will be talking, usually once a week either by phone or email to your main program coordinator. During this time he basically talks to you and tries to tell you where you can look for and keep applying for jobs. Again, this is your doing the majority of the work.

So in retrospect I believe the $4k spent on the program could have been better spent elsewhere. There isn’t anything proprietary (except maybe the webpage) but you can get one made for you for an entire year plus for a lot less than $4k.

In 2014 I was laid off from my position with a leading financial services firm. As part of my severance package I was offered the services of an industry "leading" outplacement services firm. That firm offered resume writing services, a dedicated "coach" and a weekly networking meeting where others searching for employment would meet to review job search progress. Needless to say I was not successful with that model of job search. It felt like I was getting a mass market approach to finding my next career,

After a review of the Stewart Cooper Cn (SCC) model for Individual Executive Placement I engaged their services and believe that they provided me the necessary tools for securing my current role.

SCC spends a great deal of time helping you get into the correct mindset for looking for employment and supports you throughout the process. You are held accountable for your deliverables and frequent calls with your coach help you stay on track.

SCC does a deep dive on all of your past career successes and uses that information to build a compelling and results focused resume. My former outplacement firm gave me a three page resume full of fluff. My SCC resume was two pages and only contained quantifiable successes. I had a recruiter say that my resume was one of the best they had ever seen.

SCC builds you an online Webfolio goes deeper into your resume successes by highlighting executive core competencies and how you used those competencies to realize career success. The Webfolio link is added to the resume and can be used as you network for your next opportunity.

SCC will help you research firms and develop a list of companies to target in your job search. They will go one step further and will make calls to those firms to introduce you and open up networking opportunities. This is most successful if there is an open position at the firm you are targeting, but you never know where that next role is coming from so everything helps.

SCC will also help you navigate marketing to recruiters, further expanding your networking capabilities.

SCC provides the frame work to help you build compelling SHARE stories to be used in interviewing situations. They spend ample time helping you practice for interviewing so that those SHARE stories are second nature and can be delivered with confidence. SHARE = Situation, Hindrance, Action, Result, Emotional Intellengence.

Once you have the offer SCC will help you navigate the salary negotiation process and land the offer you want.

The Stewart Cooper Cn method is very thorough, thoughtful and focused. They will help you discover the best of you and turn that into a compelling story to share with prospective AND future employers. I highly recommend them.

My experience with Stewart, Cooper & Cn was extremely positive. There are a number of highly skilled individuals to work with. They are professional, positive and direct. I felt very supported as I worked through my resume production and felt their insights in interviewing were incredibly impactful.

Throughout my career, I have honed the skills necessary to provide solid leadership in production and processing environments. I enjoy and excel at monitoring workflows, developing staff members, and resolving issue in a fast-paced work environment.

However, I had not focused on developing the marketing techniques necessary to promote my skills in an effort to transition into my next career. Because of this, collaborating with Stewart, Cooper & Cn was a logical decision that resulted in a vast improvement in my promotional skills.

The courteous and professional team at SC&C coached me through the search process, and as a result, I was able to significantly improve my resume, bolster my social media profile, and strengthen my interviewing techniques. These improvements increased my confidence as I moved from the shallow end of the career search pool into the vast ocean of opportunity that is available if you know where to search.

As I transition into my next role, I would like to Thank Jo Ann and the rest of the SC&C team that guided me through the murky career search waters. I appreciate your guidance and I look forward to smoothly sailing into my next adventure.

I had the opportunity to discuss the services for Executive Placement with [redacted] of Stewart Cooper and Cs.

[redacted] was very knowledgeable and outlined what they could and could not do. More important he was good at understanding my individual situation. The breadth of their offering and the professional of people like [redacted] is a powerful combination.

I am truly impressed with the Stewart, Cooper, and Cn (SCC) approach. I have a much better understanding of the hiring process and feel that the entire SCC team is behind me. My Campaign Director has been especially helpful with her coaching and patience in guiding me through the process. She is my primary point of contact but connects me with a much larger team to develop marketing material (resume and unique webfolio tool) and provide access to research through tools that would be cost prohibitive to subscribe to on my own. The company’s interview training is well supported by experts in situational and behavioral interview techniques and the experiential training far exceeded my expectations. The company’s process is exceptionally well documented in numerous books and articles published by its owner and associates which provides a wealth of examples and material to draw upon for examples. Overall, SCC provides great value and I highly recommend it to others.

I used Stewart, Cooper and Cn, for resume prep, interviewing skills and general job search assistance. I enjoyed and found their approach to preparing for a job search to be valuable. I will continue, and have recommended them to others. They had an excellent review and strategy about using current social sites liked [redacted], and provided really first rate interview preparation experience. I used the interviewing skills and lessons learned from them directly in the multiple interviews that landed me a new job as CEO of a non-profit and that got me offers in other positions I turned down. Bill T[redacted] was my coach and he was fantastic. I thought the behavioral interviewing prep and techniques to be helpful. You definitely would not want to discover this whole trend in questioning on your first interview. I found the cold-calling of Exec's at industries I identified to try to get me an interview to be less productive but I didn't really use this feature to its max benefit. Overall, I thought very beneficial and money well spent on my end. If you have been out of the job search arena for a while I believe it would pay dividends to use their unique methodology and approach to the entire job search process.

I lost my job In October of 2014, I spent 6 months trying to find a position, I probably applied to 50 or more positions, I never received a single call. I engaged Stewart, Coooper and Cn to help me in my job search. They have a very detailed process to helping me locate the perfect position, they take a considerable amount of time gathering information about me, my backup and what my successes have been throughout my career. They did all of this BEFORE writing my resume. After they wrote my resume and started using it to apply for positions the calls keep coming, I eventually found the perfect position for me.

Stewart, Cooper and Cn prepared me for the interview process, provided me negotiation skills for negotiating my salary and provided me a resource dedicated to that I could call on at any time,

Finding a job in today's market is very difficult, especially at the senior management level, SSC gave me that competitive edge I needed to set myself apart from the others.

I found my experience with SCC to be far superior to working with another national outplacement firm. Everyone has been very professional, knowledgeable and extrememly attentative. From day one I felt that the SCC team has shared my sense of urgency and have done everything in their power to assist in my search.
