I ordered a full aero kit (splitter w/ rods, skirt extensions, and diffuser) for my 2019 STI in April of 2020. According to Strafe Design, all orders ship within 3-5 weeks. At the end of May, I received tracking information for 2 of the 3 items ordered. in the 2nd of June, the tracking showed only labels made but items not shipped. I had reached out to the customer support (Brandon K) and he assured me the items would ship within 1 week. A week later and no update on the tracking numbers so I reached out 2 more times via email and did not receive a response. At this point, it had been 8 weeks since my order was placed and I cancelled the transactions with my bank showing the unresponsive emails. In the 2nd week of July, I received the rear diffuser (still no update on the tracking number) at which point I had already ordered and received parts from a different company. I reached out once again to Brandon K and informed him that I had received the part and would like to either pay for the item or be provided a return shipping label. I also informed him that I had cancelled all payments to him and to refrain from shipping me any other items. I received no response. In the second week of August, I have now received the splitter (i never even received tracking or shipment notification for this item). I have again reached out to Brandon informing him that Strafe Design needs to send a return label for the item as I had informed them a month prior that I had cancelled all payments and not to ship any other items. It is now September of 2020 and I have yet to receive any responses from Strafe Design. I have both items unopened in their shipping boxes in storage awaiting Strafe Design to respond to emails so that the product may be returned. At this time, I am now having to speak with my bank as they have been notified of me receiving an item that payment was cancelled for. I would not recommend ever doing business with this company as they are highly unprofessional and unresponsive.
Ordered a diffuser and some rear spats. 250 dollars in total. The following day I got an email saying they shipped. After a couple weeks of the tracking not going past pre shipment it was obvious he never put the items in the mail. He simply creates a label to buy himself time. I tried emailing and got no response. 2 weeks later I send another one and he responds saying the parts will be done and ship out that Friday. That Friday comes and nothing and a whole week goes by and nothing. He won't respond to emails. So I contacted my bank to get my money back. He deletes all negative comments on social media and blocks people who leave negative feedback. He's a total con artist. He uses the shipping label as a way to prevent people from winning claims through PayPal so he can keep your money. I replied to a comment on his Instagram made by someone also having issues. I simply stated to look at his reviews on Revdex.com and I had to contact my bank to get my money. About 5 minutes later I get an email saying my order is on the way, it's about 3 months from when I ordered. He blocked me on all social media and I can no longer contact him to return it. My guess is hes trying to still stick my with the bill even after I tried to cancel the order to no success. I got my money back from my bank already, so I'll wait to see if I get charged through PayPal. If that happens, I'm opening a fraud case against him in his state and encourage others to do the same. But you should avoid this guy at all costs. He will take your money, and do all he can to keep it and you will never get your product.
I ordered a rear diffuser for my 2016 VW GTI on Saturday June 20th and cancelled the order on June 22nd. Our Air Conditioner went out and we need the money for that issue. I received an email back from Brandon K stating, no problem, he would cancel the order. So, since I payed through Affirm, we just thought that they would Srafe Design would tell them. Had no idea they never did so. I received a bill from Affirm July 14th, I sent them an email and told them what happened. They said I needed to show proof, So I did, sent the date I ordered(Saturday), a return email with the order number, the email on the following Monday to cancel and the email I received back from Strafe saying they would cancel the order. Since July 15th until yesterday, Affirm kept asking for more information and to reach out to Strafe. I did, many times, they don't answer the phone, nor do they return calls or the over 20 emails I sent to them. Yesterday, I did receive an email from them stating my order was shipped. So now, Strafe doesn't take returns, I have to pay for something I tried in vain to cancel. Personally, I think their products are made in China. From all the complaints I've read about how long it takes to get the product, it appears they Send out for a bunch of diffuser designs, receive them, paint and ship them. There are no pictures of them making them at all on there website as other companies like *** does.On top of all this dealing with Affirm in this matter was a nightmare, no support at all, they ask the same questions over and over. They just want there money.
I ordered a set of side skirts on May 8th. The website says typically ships within 5 business days. Today is July 17th and I'm still waiting to hear from them. I emailed them on June 28th asking to cancel my order and haven't received a reply. I opened a dispute to try and get my money back.
This guy Brandon k*** the owner is A con artist takes people money and never send them the part they Ordered. Stay away from this website! And this con artist/ This modern day thief.
I'm not surprised Strife Design will not refund your money given the atrocious quality of their parts. Sadly selling lousy parts to the open market is not against the law, until they fail.
My frustration stems from waiting 7 weeks for a rear diffuser and side skirts. But what really bothers me, the quality is perhaps the worse I've seen in a sold product.
I have been in new product development for 25 years, and I would reject these parts even if they were prototypes - which leaves me utterly speechless Strife Design can sell parts like this.
On the Diffuser, cuts are made by a plasma and are unfinished and jagged. The material, being made from 16 gauge metal and thin powder coating are seriously disappointing being held together by a small rivet.
Installation is haphazard and overly crude.
The side skirt is composite, but it's .125" Alucabond, typically used for exhibit and store fixtures or other light applications. And the edge gasket is the cheapest vinyl available. As for install, I'm not even going to try - I wouldn't put something that ugly on my car.
In short they are producing overpriced cheap parts, not in anyway professional components. If you try making these yourself chances are you'll do a better job.
The absolute worst... Same story as everyone else. Takes your money with a "5-10 day" lead time. 6 weeks later and I still haven't received my order. F Brandon K. It's people like him that make people hesitant to order parts from smaller independently owned company's.
I ordered a splitter and diffuser back in December or 2019 and only the splitter showed up had to get bank involved lost dispute cause this scammer showed the tracking for the diffuser. I then have emailed multiple times and have emails from his showing he knows he didn’t ship the splitter and was gonna refund me back on February 19 2020. Now I’m out $254 and no parts so yes I’m going to be blasting him tagging his company and name on all my car pages till I get my refund. Strafe design is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Go to Aeroflow dynamics if u don’t wanna get scammed
I made a perchance on 2/4/20 for $106.24. After waiting a week for a shipment email I decided to email the company and the ensured me that my order would be on it's way within the week. I waited a week and emailed back, once again the emailed back stating my package would be sent out within a day or two. I waited another week and emailed again asking for a refund this time with no response. Which brings me here.
I purchased a side skirt kit car part for my Audi S4 from Strafe Design on Dec 30, 2019, through their online store/website. Production and shipping lead times are estimated at 2-4 weeks. I contacted the owner of the company, Brandon Kone, on 1/9/20 to ask for a shipping/production time estimate. He wrote back and indicated my car parts were in production and would be completed within a week and shipped shortly thereafter. I received an automated email from Strafe on 1/31/20 which provided a USPS tracking number. The tracking status indicated that a shipping label had been created. I emailed Brandon on 2/7/20 for a shipping update, as the tracking status has not changed. He wrote back the same day to say that my parts were in a pile to be shipped out that same day. On 2/19/20 there was still no update to the tracking status, so I emailed Brandon again for an update. I received no response. I got another automated email from Strafe Design providing my same tracking number. But the tracking status still said pre-shipment shipping label created. I emailed Brandon one final time so that he could provide some kind of explanation as to what is going on with my order. I have heard nothing back. I have paid for my parts in full and have waited over 2 months for my order. Brandon stopped replying to my emails and I have no confidence that I will get my parts.
On 1/23/2020 I placed an order with Strafe Design for a Rear Diffuser, they advertise their current ship time is 5 business days from when the order is placed. It is now 2/13/2020 and my order is yet to be sent out, it is still in pre-transit waiting to be dropped of with USPS. I have emailed back and forth with Brandon from Strafe Design and he has given me multiple dates as to when it will be shipped out, most recently he said it is packaged and going to be shipped on 2/10/2020 and it was not. I have since reached out to Brandon at Strafe Design and he is now ignoring me.
I ordered a product from a vendor online. After one month one of the products was finally arrived at my house. I only received one product, the side skirts for a Ford Focus RS. They were supposed to be made of aluminum as advertised, but were made of cheap plastic. The other package never was delivered, and shipping has never been updated. No one from the company has returned my emails or Facebook message. I cannot file a dispute through my credit card company. This purchase was made nearly one year ago, and I would like to return their cheap product and get my money back.
Just like the other fellow with exactly the same order I ve been placing a front splitter and a rear diffuser for a mazdaspeed3 and had the order paid through Sezzle.
This order was to be paid in 4 payments to Brandon K ,and in the meantime I m receiving only the rear diffuser which was incomplete by missing 2 more fins (outer).
I ve emailed him and he answered actually back the first time stating that he ll have it build and send in the following week.
I e waited about 10 days and nothing happened no email back no ups shipping order or nothing , I emailed back asking when is the order ready and when will I get the front splitter delivered plus the missing pieces, I got nothing back ,after another 2 more emails with zero answers and about 15 business days I'm contacting sezzle and file for a dispute. After another couple of weeks sezzle stopped the 4rth payment and done nothing else not even an update I decided to call my bank,given them all the transactions and the merchant info and open a dispute through bank which they ve refunded the amount charged and going after Strafe Design now.
Nightmare situation !!
Ordered grandson’s Christmas gift on Dec3rd and was told on Dec 20th that the item was shipped by US Postal Service. Item did not arrive by Christmas. Called Strafe and was told that it was shipped. Checked with US Postal and the it was not mailed as we were told. Called and have.
Not received a response. Plan on contacting the Revdex.com to place a complaint.
Will never order another item from Strafe again.
I placed and order on 11/30/19. The money was immediately removed from my account and a confirmation was sent to my email. A few days later I received an email and tracking number through USPS saying my package was in pre-shipment, meaning it hadn't been picked up from Strafe Design yet. My order sat in pre-shipment till 12/10 when I reached out to the company. I HAVE ALL the email correspondence. I was told the order had not been picked up yet but will be shipping Friday 12/13 and make it in plenty of time for Christmas as this was a gift. I waited till the next Wednesday before contacting the company again to no response. I waited a few days and again contacted them to cancel order and issue refund and still had not shipped and still no response.
I dont understand why something hasn't been done about this business and Brandon the guy that runs it..I bought two products from him back in August 2019 and never recieved them so I contacted him several weeks later and he continued to lie to me about the shipping date so Eventually I decided to go to the shop to pick it up since I live locally but he only had the diffuser ready and not the other product so I told him I wanted a refund. Long story short, after 4 months I still didnt get a refund so I talked to my bank and had them file a dispute with the company so that I could get my money back.. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS..DUDE IS A SCAM!!
7/5/2019 - I submitted an order for a rear diffuser with side winglets for a Mazdaspeed 3 for the price of $199.99.
7/22/2019 - The order was supposedly shipped.
8/10/2019 - The order arrived but did not include the side winglets, making the order not complete.
8/14/2019 - The business was made aware of the incomplete order.
8/15/2019 - The business was going to "rush" the missing items through and ship them "tomorrow". Was given a tracking number in pre-shipment status.
9/5/2019 - Emailed business for an update, received no answer.
9/12/2019 - Emailed business for an update, still no answer.
9/21/2019 - Emailed business again for an update, no answer.
9/30/2019 - Emailed business for a 4th time, no answer.
10/4/2019 - Last email checking on status. As of 11/20/2019 no answer, no shipment received and tracking number timed out.
I have all emails regarding this transaction if required.
