Student Loan Relief Group Reviews (44)

We have made attempts to call/leave messages for the client in regards to giving a refund and also waiting on client to complete release of liability form Thy can contact [redacted] at ###-###-####

We have tried to reach out to client to resolve this complaintPlease have client call [redacted] if they are seeking resolution at [redacted] Ext ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved I don't necessarily consider this resolved, but as I'm working with the business to rehab my loans, I feel this is my only optionI'm not asking for a full refund, just a partial refundI also think it is important to note that the only attempts to contact me for information, were via phone calls to an incorrect number, despite having my valid email address and not making any attempts to contact me that wayWhen this was brought to their attention, it was brushed offI felt bullied on the email I received requesting further information from me after I had submitted this complaintI understand that I got myself into this situation with my lender, but there were circumstances which led to that, and I shouldn't have to feel judged or berated by the company that I have paid to help me get it sorted outProvide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolutionI understand that I have a responsibility to pay my loans back, and I fully intend to do so (I've actually been doing so for the past months), and that most likely I won't be getting any of my money back, but I appreciate the opportunity to state my case Regards, [redacted] ***

Here are all of the documents I have supporting my caseI contacted [redacted] originally about this matter and they said that Student Loan Relief group is responsible for they sold me the service [redacted] spoke to me as if I was insaneI wrote down word for word what she told me about the program the first yume wr talked and it was all faulty [redacted] informed me that my call was recorded and she could replay it to prove she informed me of everythingIf that is true and the call was recorded anyone could listen to it and hear that she most definitely did not give me correct informtion and indeed scammed me

I signed up for the Student Debt (StuDebt) last year in AprilThey were in contact with me every month making sure that I made my initial paymentsOnce I paid them over $to sign up, they quit communicating with meI went on vacationI called them every day to try and get the remaining documents for processingI would call and email the person whom was supposedly working my case; never got an answerIf I called and pretended that I was new and wanted to sign up, In would reach a live personOnce that person found out that I was already a customer, they would quickly forward me to the agent who is supposed to be helping me (which means I only got a voicemail)Two weeks later, I finally got a guy on the phoneThis agent was sooo nasty & rude to meHe told me "you paid yo money and we did our part, soo..."The agent refused to connect me to a mgr and he also hung up on me I called and called again, only to get no answerIt was now AugustI called once again and DEMANDED that I speak to someoneThe mgr called me hours later to say that my case worker had been out sick all summer and people were just getting caught up on his workloadThe mgr promised that someone would call me that night to smooth out the rest of the detailsNo one called meAt that point, I went to my bank and had a stop payment put on my account and I had them flagged for fraudulent activitiesI had let this whole situation go, citing a life lesson learnedBut they have started to harass me nowThey have sent several emails saying they can't get payment and that I failed to send in certain documents-the same documents that I called and attempted to get help filling out like they said to doI feel threatened by their contactI do not respond to them nor do I answer their callsI would really love my $backThat is all I want

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below There is a disconnect here because the processing department is out of business( an entity known as student loan servicing center) and the student loan relief group isn't honoring their claimsI believe that there is a scam involved here and want in writing that student loan relief group will honor their obligationsMr [redacted] claims that their processing dept sent me refund letter via email which was done under the guise of student loan servicing centerTherefore this company, which is now out of business, isn't sending me anything and Mr [redacted] isn't replying to my queries on whether I need to fill out another release from solely the student loan relief group and not the one I sent on July Ambiguities piled one atop the other are the only answers I keep receiving Regards, [redacted]

The reason we knew the client signed with [redacted] is because the client stated that she called them in the original complaintSee below: Date Sent: 9/1/9:29:PMI was contacted by Student Loan Relief Group about student loan forgiveness plansI spoke with [redacted] a sales representativeShe informed me of an income based repayment optionShe told me what I would be charged for the service and that the Govwould be paying the rest of my minimum monthly payment after it was determined what I was responsibleShe also told me that my loans would not go into deferment but default while this process was taking place and also that interest would not occurI asked specifically if this was a program I would be able to obtain myselfShe informed that it was not and you needed to go through companies as such to be eligibleThis company sold me the serviceThe service that was second in this processThey are responsible for the misinformation and also selling me a faulty serviceI was told I had to file this paperwork ASAP therefore rushing me on purpose so I would not read the fine printI contacted [redacted] after I realized I had been ripped offI contacted her because when I went to renew my application I was told there would be a surcharge of $when [redacted] told me I would never have to pay anything againI was mislead and ripped off by this companyI am a struggling college graduate and I would have rather paid my minimum and use the $I paid for this service I could obtain myself towards my principle balanceDate Sent: 9/3/9:33:AMHere are all of the documents I have supporting my caseI contacted [redacted] originally about this matter and they said that Student Loan Relief group is responsible for they sold me the service [redacted] spoke to me as if I was insaneI wrote down word for word what she told me about the program the first yume wr talked and it was all faulty [redacted] informed me that my call was recorded and she could replay it to prove she informed me of everythingIf that is true and the call was recorded anyone could listen to it and hear that she most definitely did not give me correct informtion and indeed scammed meSLRG simply referred this client to DocuPrep [redacted] to perform the document prep/consolidation workThis client should be redirecting their compliant to the appropriate partyEverything should have been spelled out and in full detail on the agreement she signed with [redacted] Contact info and address should be This client is not a client of SLRG they are a client of [redacted] I hope this helps clear up any confusion thanks in advance

Total Misrepresentation!!! I was extremely hesitant about giving them any information but they were very convincingI spent at least an hour on the phone with them the first timeThey told me I would be making a very small ($30) payment every month and the actual amount of my loan would be forgiven I know I know - if it sounds too good to be true it probably is I worked them for a couple of weeks and even faxed some documents to them only to have them tell me I was denied - after they had guaranteed me I was approvedI am SOOO upset with myself for believing themWhat a scam!

All of the information in the last response is falseI was never told that I could do this on my ownI was told that for the specific program I enrolled in I would have to use this programI was told that there would not be any interest while enrolled in said programI currently have a balance of $Also, I was told that the government was to pay a portion of my minimum paent which was $I was also told that my loans were not going into a default or a forbearance which they didI was told the service would cost $for four months and I was charged $Like I stated, I would have rather been making those payments towards my loans if I knew such factsThe servicers rushed me through the application process telling me I had limited time not giving me time to look further into itI was very thorough on the phone with *** *** and asked all of these questions specifically and was given informationWhy would one pay that amount of money for something they could do for freeI was also told I would never have to pay again for the yearly income verification they do for re enrollmentI recieved an email saying I would have to pay another $for thisAfter receiving this email I called both of the servicers which they both would tell me to call the other and when I asked about all of the issues that I received information on , I was spoken to quite rudely and did not get any answersI would like a refund from the servicer

They charge for what can be done yourself- for freeAnd pretty easilyDon't waste your money

The guy called himself Corey B and even put me through a verification processI should have known better then to trust themI was on the phone with them for approximately 1.5hrs, he said he would reduce my loan to $and because I was a federally employee I qualified for the month repayment programThey asked for Tax returns, pay stubs and even sent a document for my Job to verify that I was a state employee I was charge an intial fee of $249, and they asked that I don't contact the student FSAThey are fraud plain and simple! I called my credit company and reported it as fraud!

We will first look into this to see if this was an actual client of SLRG and then go from there
