Student Loan Relief Group Reviews (44)

This complaint should be resolved now. I spoke to client on
1/15/2015 and came to a resolution, now that she has...

completed her rehab we
will process her consolidation ourselves. I went through the application with [redacted] as well as the programs she qualifies for. She decided to enter into the
Standard repayment plan. Her application was filed electronically through
FedLoan on 1/15/2015. Client was satisfied that she is getting what she paid
for and she is no longer requesting a refund.
[redacted]

The reason we knew the client signed with [redacted] is because the client stated that she called them in the original complaint. See below:
Date Sent: 9/1/2015 9:29:09 PMI was contacted by Student Loan Relief Group about student loan forgiveness plans. I spoke with [redacted] a sales representative. She informed me of an income based repayment option. She told me what I would be charged for the service and that the Gov. would be paying the rest of my minimum monthly payment after it was determined what I was responsible. She also told me that my loans would not go into deferment but default while this process was taking place and also that interest would not occur. I asked specifically if this was a program I would be able to obtain myself. She informed that it was not and you needed to go through companies as such to be eligible. This company sold me the service. The service that was second in this process. They are responsible for the misinformation and also selling me a faulty service. I was told I had to file this paperwork ASAP therefore rushing me on purpose so I would not read the fine print. I contacted [redacted] after I realized I had been ripped off. I contacted her because when I went to renew my application I was told there would be a surcharge of $100 when [redacted] told me I would never have to pay anything again. I was mislead and ripped off by this company. I am a struggling college graduate and I would have rather paid my minimum and use the $500 I paid for this service I could obtain myself towards my principle balance. Date Sent: 9/3/2015 9:33:34 AMHere are all of the documents I have supporting my case. I contacted [redacted] originally about this matter and they said that Student Loan Relief group is responsible for they sold me the service. [redacted] spoke to me as if I was insane. I wrote down word for word what she told me about the program the first yume wr talked and it was all faulty. [redacted] informed me that my call was recorded and she could replay it to prove she informed me of everything. If that is true and the call was recorded anyone could listen to it and hear that she most definitely did not give me correct informtion and indeed scammed me.
SLRG simply referred this client to DocuPrep [redacted] to perform the document prep/consolidation work. This client should be redirecting their compliant to the appropriate party. Everything should have been spelled out and in full detail on the agreement she signed with [redacted]. Contact info and address should be This client is not a client of SLRG they are a client of [redacted]. I hope this helps clear up any confusion thanks in advance.

This company is a fraud. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with [redacted] from the Student Loan Relief Group going over all of my student loan and income information. I stopped him multiple times to clarify the information he was telling me. He promised me a loan payment of $63/month for 215 months. I verified this multiple times with him. Then a lady calls me back as [redacted] told me would happen and she was rude from the minute she started talking saying that he figured the numbers wrong and my payment was to be $190 for 128 months which is more than I even owe on my loan in total. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she doesn't have a supervisor that she is the owner. That I am 100% sure is untrue. I called back and spoke to another gentleman name [redacted] that said he would review the phone calls and deal with the people but that I actually don't even qualify for the program. 3 people and no one can get their stories straight! This company if a fraud and no one should ever use them.

They charge a huge fee and give crappy service. If I had listened to my rep from this company about my student loan, the loan would be delinquent by at least two months. I went by the letters that I received from fedloan, where my loan is now through. And on top of this, I was contacted last night asking if I had changed my password to the fedloan website and then was asked for the password that I am now using. BEWARE, this is not legal. Stay away from this company.
