This business is not a scam per say but I am infuriated with this businessI was calling my bank to make a loan payment and somehow got connected to this companyThey told me it was going to end up being $overall to consolidate my loans (later I figured out I could have done this for free which the sales guy obviously failed to tell me)Anyway, they told me if I got my loans consolidated I would be paying less than I actually am nowThe total cost for this "service" ended up costing me $instead of $like they initially told meIf you feel ok about taking advantage of students right out of college trying to pay their student loans while juggling an entry level work position, amongst paying other bills than you should work for student zoomI am infuriated and would like my money back- or at least the $to make up the difference from $to $

We have successfully resolved the complaint with [redacted] as of September 17, Please see attached email correspondence Promptly after receiving the complaint we contacted Ms [redacted] by phone and email to resolve her complaint and request her feedback After we determined the complaint was a simple miscommunication about how student loan consolidation and forgiveness works, Ms [redacted] requested to proceed with our service and has expressed satisfaction working with Student Zoom StudentZoom has maintained an excellent reputation by regularly engaging our clients for feedbackWe appreciate how Ms [redacted] brought her concern to our attention, and were happy to find a simple resolutionMs [redacted] was very gracious and pleasant, and wishes to withdraw her complaintThis information may also be verified with Ms*** Please contact us with any additional questions or needs [redacted]

We have contacted Mr*** on numerous occasions in an attempt to resolve his complaint without success Promptly after receiving the complaint on May we contacted Mr*** by phone and email to resolve his complaint and request his feedback Since then we have called on
separate occasions, the most recent on May when we called and left a voicemail Without a response from Mr*** with more specific details about his complaint, we are unable to address his concerns as our records indicate his service was completed per Mr***'s request Mr*** contacted Student Zoom on April 28, to request help filing and processing a federal student loan consolidation He enrolled the same day and requested we begin processing his documents immediately On good faith Student Zoom completed and filed his documents by March 20, Furthermore, he was successfully enrolled in the program.We appreciate how Mr*** brought his concern to our attention, and we welcome his response at his convenience Please contact us with any additional questions or needs

We have successfully resolved the complaint with Ms*** as of July 8, 2015.Ms*** enrolled with Student Zoom in February to file and process a federal student loan consolidation We began processing her application the same month; however, her service had not been finalized as
she had returned to school full-time Ms*** expressed that she became frustrated when the $payment was drafted prior to the completion of her service We have determined the $payment was drafted in error and have provided a refund StudentZoom has maintained an excellent reputation by regularly engaging our clients for feedback We appreciate how Ms*** brought her concern to our attention and provided feedback, and were happy to find a simple resolution Ms*** was very understanding This information may also be verified with Ms*** Please contact us with any additional questions or needs

Promptly after receiving the complaint we contacted Ms*** to resolve her complaint and request her feedback Ms***
enrolled in Student Zoom's document preparation service for a federal income-sensitive payment program on June She expressed a concern that she had difficulty reaching her Account Representative around the end of July regarding the status of our services around the end of July Our research determined her services were fully completed within days of her contract with Student Zoom; however, at the time of her complaint she had not received confirmation in writing from her loan servicer due to a delay in their system We are happy that Ms*** has now received confirmation that her services were completed in full
Student Zoom has maintained an excellent reputation by regularly engaging our clients for feedback We appreciate how Ms*** brought her concern to our attention, and were happy to find a simple resolution This information may also be verified with Ms***

Hello, I'm responding to this complaint in an attempt to reach you Our system is highly sophisticated and those emails you are receiving are automated unfortunately if we are not logging the receipt of the faxes the system is not updated to stop sending the emails My sincere apologies
for the confusion and frustration I can assure you we are not a scam, we work with 1000s of clients and have seen very good results One issue here may be that *** is no longer with the company and the faxes you were sending were not being viewed This is not your fault it is ours and I'll get to the bottom of it If you would please email me directly at j.***@studentzoom.com I'd like to schedule a time to talk Thank you

This company was recommended to me to help me with my student loansI made a call and got a machine saying they would return my call in hoursA week later a got a call from a representive, *** ext There is no way to dial an extension when you call the company*** and I spoke regarding my student loansHe was given all my personal information and took me to send him via email a copy of my loan statement so he could review and he would call me back that day after reviewingNovember 16th I sent him a copy via email of my statementI did not hear back from him so on November 18th I sent him an email asking if he was able to review my loanOn November 18th, he replied he had and asked me a good time to callI told him after 5:30pmHe never calledNovember 20th, I sent him an email saying I haven't heard from himHe never replied or calledAgain, on November 21st I emailed him twice and never heard backFrom that day I have been calling the company's phone number every day multiple times a day and never get a live personI have left at least one message every dayTheir machine says they will return your call in hoursIt's now November 24th and I still have not heard from anyoneI gave a representative of there company all my personal information and have not heard backThis is very unprofessional and concerning
