Sunlight Contractors

We recently contracted Sunlight Contractors, LLC to spray foam the outdoor dining deck at Middendorf's, what a wonderful experience. Everything about the transaction, from initial quote to completion was timely, professional and efficient. Corey and his crew did an excellent job of set up and installation, all well within our stated time line, as a matter of fact, the job was completed in about 2/3 the time we initially anticipated. We will continue to use them during our continuing expansion and I would highly recommend them for your insulation needs.

I had Sunlight Contractors install over 3000 sqft of spray foam in my home in Destrehan. Doing business with Ira and Corey from Sunlight Contractors was the best experience I have had with a contractor who I did not already know. They spent time to talk to you and answer any of your questions. They were prompt and took care of my house like it was their own. You could tell how much they cared about the job by the way they cleaned up after their work was complete. I had a number of concerns before deciding to go spray foam. (moisture, having a bad smell or getting a bad install job to name a few) Ira and Corey took the time answer all of my questions and ease my concerns. To address moisture concern they showed me how they conduct their air flow test to ensure the amount of air that moves around the house meets national standards, no other contractor mentioned this while reviewing my house for the bid. They also assured me the smell would be very minimal and they were right. The smell in the house was hardly noticeable and even in the attic it just smelled like a fresh coat of paint. It’s been about a week and there is absolutely no smell anymore. To ease my concern about a bad job I just did research on Sunlight Contractors and I could not find any application they did that resulted in a bad installation. Now that the foam is installed, my house is more comfortable and the temperature inside is more steady with my air handlers running less now than they did before the install. All that is great and 100% true but one of the best measures of a contractor is how they treat you if something goes wrong. My attic was mostly decked but anyone who works in an attic knows how easy it is to miss a foot placement and create sheetrock damage on the ceiling below. Ira called me in the middle of the job to inform me of such an accident. It was a small crack in the sheetrock and one that I probably would not have noticed for some time but they didn't try to hide it. He told me exactly where it was and he had already scheduled his sheetrock guy to come out and fix it. Great customer service by Sunlight Contractors I would definitely deal with them again in the future.

Sunlight Contractors installed insulation at my home today. After completion I was surprised as to the lack of insulation I previously had. I now fell confident that my electric bill in the future will be tremendously cheaper. The technicians were very courteous and knowledgeable of there job and keep me informed throughout the process. Upon completion the technician took me into the attic, identified all the power locations, dept markers, cleaned the area below my attic stairs and left my home clean. Technician left his Business card for future reference in case I have any additional questions or need of assistance. I would recommend this company to my friends and family in the future.

Great job! What a difference

I contacted Sunlight Contractors after I got quote from another company. I immediately saw the difference when they came out and did my home energy audit and took the measurements. They exceeded my expectations and were also more affordable. Anyhow, I had my attic spray foamed in December of 2014 and I see cost savings up to $100 per month on my energy bill during the summer months. I highly recommend Sunlight Contractors for spray foam insulation.

I first found out about Sunlight Contractors at a Home Show where I was doing research on spray foam. After looking at several contractors my wife and I decided to go with Sunlight Contractors. They were on time with they came to do the estimates and when the crew came to do the job. The workers were very friendly and courteous. We were 100% pleased with the results of having the attic spray foamed. Our AC is running way less than it did before the Spray Foam application. When I go into the attic now it is almost the same temp as the rest of the house compared to the steaming attic was. Anyone thinking about having this done should talk to Sunlight Contractors. Not only do they do a great job, they also have a wealth of knowledge, and experience in Spray Foam application. The energy savings over time is very cost effective. I'm glad we were able to meet Sunlight Contractors at the Home Show 2014.

We just had sunlight contractors complete the job at our house and they did a wonderful job. Not only did they complete the whole job in a timely manner but they cleaned up after themselves. They were able to improve the energy efficiency of our house immensely. After coming and giving us am extremely detailed estimate, they did everything as promised. Corey was here the entire time supervising and when they were complete gave me a complete rundown of all the work. Most of all Ira has been great from day 1. Very personable, he called to explain the process and ask if we had any questions from the time of the estimate until the job was complete. These guys truly do a great job and have a real desire to improve your home. They will be highly recommended to anyone I know and if we ever have the need for spray foam again we will most definitely use them

Dealing with Sunlight has been a totally positive experience. Everyone is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. My insulation is going in now, so I'll comment again when the job is completed.

Sunlight insulated my 3200 sq.ft. home with cellulose insulation on Saturday they did a great job. Ira and Derrick both were on the job.
