sunrise van lines were on time. Very understanding of what I want them to move. Very fast loading but was very careful with my stuff. The main guy pack it very well and cover all the stuff that need to be keep from getting scratched and dented. They got all my stuff in with out any problems. They put everything were I asked them to put it. If I ever move again I will have them do it for me. highly recommended.

Sunrise van lines did a great job ,Initially the inspector showed up and gave me an estimate. On moving day, the workers showed up on time and did a full service move. Everything was packed and they packed my TV, which the inspector had missed, at no extra charge. The workers delivered all my stuff into my new apartment. Everything delivered perfectly with no damage, 5 stars from me .

Ron and his team did a pretty good job moving my stuff from Orlando to Boston. I got my stuff in about 15 days. Things were delivered without any damage.

Ron was very responsive and patient with my follow ups and queries numerous times during the entire process. Thank you Ron. The delivery team in Boston Khaleef and team did a very good job too!

My only suggestion to people considering any movers is to read the contract and the fine print carefully. Also, expect the price to increase once any mover comes to your house, packs your stuff and loads it because they calculate the space occupied on their van in sq feet and not in terms of the number of boxes- so ultimately price tends to go up. There are additional charges for stairs, elevator and other things which are mentioned in their contract which if read carefully will prepare you better for approximately how much the move will cost you totally.

Due to my mother's failing health, I had to move her back to NJ from Tampa, Fl. I contracted Sunrise Van Lines to do the move. They packed and protected all the furniture, loaded it on the truck. They were professional and efficient. We put it in their storage facility until we found a place for her. Thankfully delivery was smooth and efficient. Everything arrived in one piece. The crew deserves a thumbs up for a great job. I thank you keeping a stressful situation in check.

I had a very pleasant experience with Sunrise Van Lines. I was considered a "small move" i.e. less than a full 18-wheel truck. They wrapped what furniture I had very well and I received my goods within well before the 21 days stipulated in the contract. The movers could have been a little more gentle with my stuff and I lost a couple of glasses in the boxes that were marked fragile but overall, they did a great job. Do make sure that you have an accurate estimate of your materials because it really does make a difference in price.

Move with Sunrise van Lines on 4Dec 2017 from Orlando FL to San Francisco CA. 41 Days gone, no delivery.
I had bought a move with Sunrise Van Lines, from Orlando FL to San Francisco CA. The initial phone and mail conversations went well. The pickup was also very smooth. They picked up my good on 12/04/2017. Both the drivers did their job well. Everything went well. They had told me 21 days approx for the delivery. However I called them after 3 weeks and I heard the good are still in their godown, They said the driver will pick them soon and drive to the west. Since then I call them everyday and they say he is on his way. Its been 41 days today, I have been sleeping on the floor, eating outside, have not been able to cook at home, being restless all day and night because of them.Today also I get the same answer that he is in California and driving to SF. I dont know what to do. I am a student who has worked hard to bring up some furniture in past 2 years. I am really upset and worried about my belongings. I have 5 boxes, a bed, some tables and chairs and a TV. I am being troubled for such basic move. I do not want money, I just want my belongings.

Desired Outcome

I just want my delivery. As soon as possible.

The initial experience involving the pickup and packaging was great, but many problems occurred afterwards. First of all, Sunrise Van Lines failed to deliver my 65 inch television and living room end table. As it turns out, my television was erroneously delivered to Jacksonville, Florida (I was moving from Virginia to California mind you). By sheer luck, the other customer in Jacksonville, Florida contacted Sunrise Van Lines to inform them it wasn't their television. Luckily, my television did finally arrive two weeks after the rest of my belongings. They had no idea what happened to the end table and were never able to find it, but judging from what happened to the television it could easily have been delivered to another person in error. They did say that they would replace the end table and a couple other smaller items that were lost at full value, which was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. However, it has been 3 months since then and they have not reimbursed me for replacing the end table and the rest of the items. I have sent multiple emails and called multiple times, but have not heard anything from the company. Although a nice offer to fully replace the lost items, words without actions are basically meaningless. I would consider this story when making your decision.

My furniture was picked up on 11/26/17 and was given 3 different delivery dates. To date, no furniture.
My entire 3 bedroom house of furniture was picked up on 11/26/17. I was moving from Orlando, Fl to Fayetteville, NC. I was given an Available Delivery Date of 11/29/17. On 11/29,I contacted the driver "Andrew" and asked him about my furniture. He told me that it would be delivered by Saturday 12/2/17. I contacted him again on 11/30/17 to confirm that the delivery date would be Saturday. He assured me that it would be. On 12/1/17, I received a text from Andrew that the furniture would now be delivered on Sunday, instead of Saturday, with no explanation. He also told me to make sure that I had the balance owed in either Postal Money Order or Cash. On the same day, I received a call from "Jack" telling me the same thing about payment and also threatening me that if could take 21 days for delivery. On Sunday 12/2/17, I contacted "Andrew" and asked him did he have an approximate time of delivery? That's when he advised me that "my truck is over weight and the company sent your goods with bigger truck. I was 1500 lb over weight and they told me to back home." Whatever that means. I don't know where my furniture is or when I expect to receive it. I am tired of these people playng games and lying to me. I have life saving medication in a bag which accidently left with my stuff and really need my medication as soon as possible and furniture.

I want my furniture and medication deliverd ASAP

Company gives an unreliable phone number of the delivery team's "David" who never answers regarding questions on where my property is located.

I brought them on to move my things from Washington, DC to Tampa, FL. At first, they seemed normal with the scheduling of their pickup. The team that actually wrapped and took my things out was professional and competent. However, it's been over a week since then, and I still have not received my items in Florida. They refuse to give an actual estimate on when your property will arrive.

Worse, when you ask for this delivery information, they always say that they don't handle the delivery. I received the number of a mysterious "David," who supposedly would be handling the delivery in Tampa, FL. Bonnie, the person in Maryland who handled my initial loading and contracting, told me that David is "hard to get ahold of." I'll say. David doesn't have a voicemail on his phone, and will never call you back or pick up the phone despite repeated attempts to contact him.

As of right now, I have no idea where my property is, and no way to find out, either.

Desired Outcome

I'd like my stuff delivered promptly, and be able to get an actual verification and point of contact that they haven't lost it.

I had a very good experience with Sunrise Van Lines. I dealt mostly with Jeff, the Sales Manager, he was my main go-to guy. Jeff spent a lot of time talking with me about the various aspects of my move, and he was always available for me, for any and all of my questions. He was a great source of miscellaneous information on all things involved in moving lost distance. He even made himself available to me on a day he was supposed to be taking a vacation day, calling to answer some of my questions and ensuring that all would go well. And on that day in particular, I was especially grateful that he called.

Also extremely helpful to me was Ron, their dispatcher and the supervisor of their drivers and crewmen. Ron was helpful, organized and very efficient; he was also patient and unfailingly polite and kind.

The two men who drove the truck and delivered my things were affable and a pleasure to have around, and very carefully handled the antique furniture and glassware I inherited from my mother.

The reason I have given only four stars, below, is because things did not go as well for my sister in her dealings with the crewmen who came to my sister's house in Florida to pack up everything coming to me and to load the truck. I was not there, so I cannot speak to this personally.

It was a pleasure to work with these men of Sunrise Van Lines, who seemed to take a personal interest in making sure that my move went as smoothly as it could, and that my belongings got moved properly, with no damage. I am happy to report that so far, this has been the case for me, but I can't speak for everything yet, as I have yet to finish unpacking all of the boxes yet.

its nice to know when you do a good job

If you are reading this is because you are considering hiring them, please do yourself a favor and don't. They are dishonest and misleading, they will lie to your face and take your money in the process. Let explain, first of all, this is my first move ever, which makes completely naive about the scams moving companies use to lure you in. I felt for their 5 star review on Google which is composed of 3 reviews my is number 4 and the only real one, how do I know? If you click on who put the review they only had left the one review ever for this company, it's very unlikely that if you have a good experience you leave a review at all, but if are like me and you are because you are reading this, you'd leave reviews on countless stuff with different ratings not only bad or good, on yelp this fake reviews are also misleading, the only possible legit good review they have on yelp is from a customer that cancel and got her deposit back, she doubled won I think, I which I did cancel. But not, I actually cancel with Uload and lost $425 for the chance of going with whom I thought was a reputable company. My contact was Yaron from beginning to end, he was so nice when I spoke to him the fist few times, so accommodating, polite and appeared to be sincere, not that the other 52 companies I spoke to din't either, they sounded like that too, but they had more bad reviews that I desired, what I fool I was! Firs impression, they were late to pickup my stuff and I ended up missing my flight to San Diego on Oct 2nd. Yaron promised me that for few things he would not change my already high quote since it was such a small move anyway, not the case, he did change it by $385 more, I which I cancel then!!! But I agreed ok, they are already there and had to flight that day. Yaron promised that they were not a broker which I was reading a lot about on other companies reviews and I was hesitant to use one that was, but he said we pick it up and we drop it off, same company. LIES!!! they sent my stuff after almost 2 weeks in storage with Skyline Moving, whom gave me a quote $650 cheaper that Sunrise, but I decided their reviews weren't to part. So ironic!!! I finally was a able to get the driver's phone number after pleading with Yaron since 3 weeks went by without where abouts of my belongings. He was in Texas, he said he had 9 moves before getting to me. He got San Diego on October 27th late 2 hours. Be aware they don't even let you see your stuff until they are paid by cash or POSTAL MONEY ORDER, red flag!!!! They basically hold your belongings hostage for ransom. I paid with POSTAL MONEY ORDER against my better judgement and legal advice, obviously I want my stuff, so I paid!!! The movers were actually very nice and polite and other a few broken ornaments and a few pieces having dents and scratches everything made it in better condition than expected. Stay away from this moving company!!!

I don't understand what this customer wants!!!!
first I didn't lie to her when we booked the job.
I give her a price for the list she give me and on the day of the move she add items to the move and we charge for that and let her know the charge.
second I told her the she is moving to the W cost and it can take some time and it is on the contract that we have up to 21 business days for delivery.
we did the delivery before the time ended. (3 weeks for delivery)
we didn't hosted her HHG because we didn't charge her more money
I was nice and professional all the way as she say
the job was from sunrise van lines from start to finish (she don't have any contract on a different name)
she don't stop lieing.
all the good reviews we have are from real customers (the customers on the E cost don't use yelp and that's way they have 1 review)
she wanted to pay with money order and I told her on the day we book the job that we take on delivery cash or postal money order only it was say by me and it is on the contract she sign, she say that she want to pay with bank chak because she want to cancel the check and we will not let her do that,
if she have damage she can go to csi to do a claim.
you can see that we didn't secm her on the price $385 (that is for the extra item she added)
she did go to a lot of websites to do reviews just to show what a bed person she is

Wow!!!! you are worse than I imagine! Instead of trying to apologize, make it right and clean your company name, you prefer to lie further and atack me personally, you are a vile human and and rude, unprofessional business man. On your own words when asked how long will it take at most you said 7 to 14 days, it'll probably be less but I have to give you worst case scenario which is 14 days. It took 25 days, so do your math, sunrise or whom ever you sent picked up on October 2nd. Skyline dropped off on October 27th.

Due to a promotion I had to move back to NYC immediately. I spoke with Jack at Sunrise Vanlines, he was very thorough when doing the inventory asking all the right questions, and helping to keep a very stressful situation as easy as possible. When the movers arrived they hit the ground running. They came with all the boxes and supplies, and on day #1 had my home completely packed. Day #2 started early with their arrival to load the truck. Delivery arrived in the time frame Jack said was needed. They moved everything in, and in it's place. I thank you for a seamless move.

We recently completed our move out from Arlington, Virginia (with our stuff on its way to California) and we had a wonderful experience with Sunrise Van Lines. The entire team was flat out great from the booking agent Yaron to the driver David to each of the three other movers! They were efficient, professional, and friendly and did a fantastic job wrapping and moving our furniture out of the apartment. We couldn't have asked for better service from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Sunrise Van Lines to anyone looking for quality movers.

Sunrise doubled the amount of their estimate, broke several expensive items during the move, and made claims that were not fulfilled during the move.
I was helping pack up my mother's house and the following is how Sunrise Van Lines, ***, ***, FL handled the move. I spent a long time on the phone with the men that estimated the moving cost, based upon the accurate list of items I provided. After the Ryder rental truck, not one of their trucks which I was told would be used, was loaded, I was presented with a bill that was TWICE the estimate! This created a serious financial hardship for me. When the furniture arrived, the real trouble began! The washer and dryer were both working perfectly in ***, but required over $300 in repairs due to the beating they took in the move. I asked them to put the dryer in first so I could connect the dryer vent hose. While I was on the floor, they jammed the washer into place, pinning me to the wall. I had to push the washer out and climb over it to get out. The grandfather clock was broken, the packing material were left in big piles inside the house and in the front yard. Most furniture was not unwrapped at all and none of it was re-assembled. One box was broken open and items were rolling all around the inside of the truck. The driver was extremely rude and disrespectful. All but five items just had to be unloaded into the garage, so it was a very easy unloading job, but there was no relief from the company as far as a discount in the doubled price and no apology or investigation into what happened at the delivery. After being assured that the company used their own trucks, I found this not to be true at all and my items changed trucks at least two or three times. Do not use this company!
Pictures show how everything was when the movers left my home. The family grandfather clock has not functioned since the move, because of the way.it was handled during the move.

Desired Outcome

I would like for the cost of repairing the grandfather clock to be paid, the cost of repairing my washer and dryer reimbursed, and $500 of the doubled estimate to be refunded.
