I have had sunrun for about years nowI have had only lower power billsTheir salesman completely lied about my future bills if I had solar panels installedWe were told our power bill would be no more that $monthly and our contract price would be $monthlyWhich would save us a little bit of moneyMy power bill at the time was a little over $ monthlyMy power bill yesterday was $along with paying SunRun $my total is $this monthI am a widow living on a fixed income and I can not afford SunRunI have asked numerous times about having the panels removed to which I am told that I am under a year contractI have sent copies of my last years power bills to SunRun for an analysisNow they want another copy of the same billsAre they using them for fire wood, because they can never find the copies I sentI was never told by anyone at SUnRun that the panels would void my roof warranty but it doesAlso, when having to do some legal things with my attorney I had him look over my contract with SunRun and he said I got ripped off and there is now a lien on my houseSince my husband passed away I wanted to downsize and sell my houseThe solar panel contract has to go with the house or else I have to pay the year contract offI don't have $25,or so to pay that and no one is going to take this over if I sell my houseI am contacting everyone I can to get out from under this contract, including attorney and senators

My system was installed in a timely fashion and running the first of DecemberThe inverter failed, the first time in early JanuaryI phoned and gave them the three error codes and verbiageTheir service agents had no idea what the codes meant and I was told they couldn't schedule repair until Jan 30thThere was only one circuit effected; the kitchen appliances; lost everything in the refrigerator and freezerAfter power was out for nine hours, I managed to get the system back on myselfTwo weeks later, the same problem, and again lost the frig contentsI put all my ninety-three-year-old mother's medication on ice to saveWas told that system had defaulted to the grid and it was San Diego Gas and Electric's problem and to call themThey came out immediately and confirmed the problem was with Sunrun's systemI called again and had to threaten with a medical emergencyA service agent came out the next day and opened the unit upThere was a fried wire which was identified immed

The fine print of my contract states SunRun will meet a specific amount of power supplyHowever, when their system goes down for 3, 4, 5, months of the year, I am required to pay PG & E the differenceSunRun is telling me they are not going to payThis has happened every year since the system went in (separate years)This has resulted in effectively having a year of no solar serviceThis last time the system went down due to a faulty part, it took from May until November until the part was acquired and repairs were affectedSunRun is threatening us by affecting my credit and telling us there's nothing we can do about it

I live in NJ and when my wife and I met with the Sunrun sales rep several times made commitments to us that Sunrun will not honorSpecifically our sales rep is no longer with Sunrun tol both my wife and I that since we are leasing the solar array if we sold our house and the prospective buyers didn't want the solar lease and or payment Sunrun would remove the solar array, I read this same complaint from several people on the Sunrun [redacted] site, since we are going to put our house up for sale I called Sunrun and asked about how to go about this should a prospective buyer didn't want itI was told by Sunrun my sales rep was incorrect and that the sale of my house would have to be contingent upon the prospective buyer accepting the lease, otherwise we couldn't sell to this prospective buyer or I could pay off the lease which is a year lease and I would not recover the expense through the saleThis extremely limits my ability to sell the houseMy sales rep also told me that if we received heavy snow some one contracted by Sunrun would come and clean it off to realize the solar credits from the sun, after a rough winter a year ago we received well over a foot of snow and I called sunrun telling them what our rep told us, they laughed and said they don't do that and since I am disabled I am unable to do it thus loosing the solar credits due to the heavy snow and ice on top of the solar arrayThis having a direct impact on selling our home I am very dissatisfied with the Sunrun company not standing behind what their sales reps commit to, and it wasn't only mine because the [redacted] complaints the same as mine were from different states

If all I can do is stop someone from buying into Sunrun, I will count my life completeIt's completely unacceptable how they are so ignorant, I got my solar panels about months agoI thought I was buying into something wonderful, however little did I know that my solar panels stopped producing energy after the first month and was never even told about the error until about 1/months agoThey took half a month to realize something was wrong with themAfter they stopped by and checked out the problem, which was by one of their partners known as [redacted] ( [redacted] ) the same people who installed my panels, and are as bad as Sunrun, after this it was a complete warI haven't had energy from my solar panels for months because of some error that was now being told was a "converter" is brokenIt only took month to break the system, which is why I would tell anyone thinking of this to stay awayEvery time I call now, I get ignored and get told the same time and

We purchased a solar system from GCI, which was purchased by Sunrun IncWe were promised that our electric bill would be much lower than it was at the timeOver the course of the past years, we are not only paying Sunrun $192/month for the system, but we are still paying $to SoCal EdisonOn the Sunrun website it shows that we are saving $601/year, but with the $192/month we are paying an extra $towards electricityWe would be very happy with solar if it didn't cost us an extra $that wasn't disclosed to us by the original salesmanWe have had many conversations with Sunrun over the years and the only thing we get is the run around and the comments of "your consumption must have gone up." I should at least see savings that equal the annaul lease payments$in savings when you are paying $is not a savings

When my solar was contracted it was said that the overage charges would not exceed five hundred dollars a year at the end of december I received a bill from sce in excess of eighteen hundred dollars

The solar contractors were unable to obtain a building permits for my project and cancelled my contract in FebruaryI was told to expect a refund of my $ [redacted] deposit within a weekI have this in writingI have contacted customer service many times and exchanged many emails and everyone keeps saying they will research where my refund is and get back to meIt is now almost June and they still owe me my $ [redacted] refund

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Thanks to Revdex.com ,a Sunrun representative finally contacted me after several months of I attempting to request them for a lease transfer copyHowever, the response from Sunrun is a complete and outright lieIt is quite surprising how they are trying to falsify the email conversation I had with them To this note, I’ve attached documents The first attachment is a contract agreement between the original owner of my previous home This has nothing to do with me at all and not even sure why they sent it to meInfact its not a good idea for Sunrun to share the original owners complete contract with meNote that they also named this as Peddu agreement which is made by previous owner The second attachment is “transfer of lease” document where the previous owner signed & I signed as part of the home purchaseHere, it is important to note that Sunrun never signed & acknowledged this documentOnly if Sunrun signed this document, the transfer of lease would be a valid one I’ve attached the email conversations I had with [redacted] at SunrunRepeatedly I have asked him why Sunrun did not sign the transfer document which he never answeredRepeatedly I told him I was never briefed about the terms & conditions of the lease agreement with the Sunrun and he didn’t answer straight to thatRepeatedly I told him if ever had known that I’m binded by a 20yr long with a monthly bill of [redacted] which is way more than the regular [redacted] bill, I wouldn’t have opted for this leaseIn the end & without any answers, he sent an email saying that “I have answered all your questions”This is just to address this to show the Revdex.com that he respondedThe email attachment shows this allAlso I’d like to note that, the current rates for solar have become very cost effective from the time the original owner purchased and also the time that I moved into the houseIt is not good for Sunrun to bind me for a longer term (long yrs) & higher rate at a period the rates are competitive from different solar vendorsThe way Sunrun tried to make me a ploy in their game as per the emails, I no longer wish to continue with this company and seeking help to terminate the contract with themSincerely, [redacted] ***

I was sent a letter about a bill being overdue, I called times a day for over a week to get someone on the phone to either set up a payment plan or see about paying itI never received a call back so In order to avoid going to collections I got a loan and mailed a check on 4/4/I called on 4/6/to make sure that it was received and it went straight to voicemail like all the other callsSomeone called me back and confirmed that the payment was receivedThe check was cleared on 4/10/and then on 4/23/I received a letter from a collections agency dated 4/16/stating that I was in collections for the amount that I had already paidThis has yet to be resolved and now it’s affecting my credit

We met with SunRun on 2/18/ [redacted] to discuss solar on our new homeWe signed the contract to lease the solar panels with them and wrote them a check for $***We were told the home had to be completed and the electricity had to be in our name to begin the design and installation process- We moved into the home on 6/5/ [redacted] and sent our Xcel account info to them on 7**- We received design plans on 10/7/ [redacted] and an email that our building permit was approved on 10/23/**- After notifying SunRun that we received approval from our HOA, we received an email on 11/13/ [redacted] that they were in the final phases; that the material for our job was onsite at their warehouseThey indicated that they were waiting on final approval from their internal operations department and that we should hear from them in a few days- On 12/9/**, after inquiring about installation, we were informed that a software change caused a delay in our project- On 1/7/ [redacted] we received another email saying there was a discre

months ago we had a large rain storm with heavy thunderThat day one of the strongest thunder hit near by and our power went out, as power came back half of my home was on the other half was notI have called several time to Sunrun to come out and check the systemafter weeks and months of calling them they finally come to check the system and they stated they may have to follow the wires and find the issueThat was weeks ago, I call every week and they keep saying they are going to escalate the call and have someone call me with in the hourbut days go by and no call back or follow upI will now that they got paid they want nothing to do with me

This company did everything they said they were and I'm very happy with the service I have received from Sunrun I recommended them to my kids as well

I had a solar system installed two years agoLast year its production dropped to less than halfI did not know this till I Decwhen I got a Edison bill for over $ I complained in Dec and they attempted to repair in Janand failedThey have tried again in Feb,march, and April without getting it fixedThey will try again in MayI have a contract that guarentees % production and they have not refunded my loss nor repaired the systemI owe Edison $ as of this month for power and it will still be growing for and would like this refunded also per the contractI would like the system fixed properyl and timely with someone who knows what he is doingI have met a lot of nice repairmen but no repairPlease help [redacted]
