We had a residential solar PV system installed on our home Sunrun’s offering had competitive pricing and their sales rep ( [redacted] ***) was very knowledgable, informative, transparent and responsive Their analysis team was prompt, competent and courteous and came back with a solid proposal for how to make the most power while meeting our aesthetic needs Their installation team was top-rate, quick, competent and even dealt very effectively with some stumbling by our local electrical inspector Our installation is cleanly laid out and well done Sunrun has been an exemplary partner helping us through each phase of the project I wish all contractors were as competent, responsible, professional and responsive Thank you!

The whole process has been a nightmareIt took months to finally get an install dateThat original date had to be rescheduledThe second date approached and they had not shown upI looked on my Sun Run tracker and it showed the installation was in progressI called the rep and left a message, he returned the call stating it was his mistake he needed to rescheduleMy husband then called him to cancel the whole thingHe basically lied by reporting the installation was in progress to us and the companyMy husband was called by our sales rep who apologized and offered a $gift card to make up for the hassleMonday rolls around and we get a call from installers that they are at the house and need into the garageWe reached out to Sun Run and haven't had a return call or emailNow we have panels in our roof and Sun Run is nowhere to be foundOh and our gift card is NOWHERE to be found- after a verbal and email confirmation it was going to be sentHorrible company!!!!

I purchases a solar system from Sungevity Solar, which has now went out of business, Now I am told SunRun Solar is to whom I am to make paymentsUntil I started having issues I was making timely payments, Problem started with my roof leaking due to spikes from system being installed on my roof, they sent someone once that chalked several spots in attic, which failed to stop my leak, second is in March I had the main Inverter on the system fail and when I called in the complaint of system failing, it took over a month to have someone look at the system, And I was told inverter was bad, that they would have to replace, That took another month and a half before my system was up and running, So I in return asked for a credit and also for my roof leak to be fixed, And the only think they wanted was for me to pay for the months the system was not working, So to make this shorter, They take forever to get to fix my issues, But only a day to shut my system off

When I purchased a house I took over an existing solar lease with Sunrun and it was one of the worst financial decisions I have ever made I am paying more for the lease than I would if I just paid a utility company I am trying to sell the house now and nobody wants to buy it because of the bad lease The only options Sunrun provided were to prepay $32K for the rest of the leas or pay $52K to own the solar I would not recommend working with SunrunI think solar can be great but Sunrun leases definitely are not the way to go!

I read about the PPA plan from Sunrun Inc(Solar) I couldn't believe that there was absolutely no out of pocket costs or down payment or absolutely NO EXTRA FEES AT ALL for them to install the whole solar system to put it on top of our roof!...AND in addition, to NOT actually have to pay for the whole solar system!.....I was skeptical, as I explained this to my uncle (whom I live with) In simple terms, the only thing we should concern ourselves with now is this MUCH LOWER electricity bill coming after installation! While we get to contribute to a healthier environment and healthier plant :-)So we had it installed (it was for free, as told) And its been nine months now, since installation, and everything that was told to us was on-the-dot-correct! We are happier than ever! Now I can see and believe that nothing was ever charged at all except for the $we now pay for our electricity bill, every month for years! Just like it was told to us from the beginning(As opposed to the 2-hundred dollars we used to pay for our ***! I'm SO GLAD we never have to deal with *** anymore! I had solar panels installed on my roof about years agoRecently I had a water leak in my roof and called Sunrun to discuss the issueAfter reviewing the situation, due to the solar panels on my roof, I now have some sort of animals living / nesting on my roof, under my panelsWithout the panels, my roof is 100% exposed to the elements and no animal could / would live thereThe animals now living on my roof have started to dig holes through my roof which is causing the water damageThe solar company feels that although no animals would live on my roof without the panels they are not responsible for any damage done to my roofThere is zero chance that I would have a leak in my roof (regardless of cause) if these panels were not thereThey are now looking to have me pay for the roof, pay for the removal of the panels and if I want, to install Critter guardsNot sure why they offer critter guards if they feel there is no risk of damage

I live in Las Vegas and have never had a pigeon problem on my property until after Sun run installed solar panels on my roofThey told me that the leased panels were their responsibility and also any damage to my roofNow less than a year later I have nesting pigeons damaging my roof and they want to charge me for clean up and removal? on june I purchase a solar system, on January the first rain of the year came and I now have a roof leak, I called sun run and they sent a tech to investigate problemthe tech determined that the leak is coming from a vent for the bathroomI explained to the customer service rep that the damages where cause by the techs during the installation
