I agree with the recent comments, I've had a horrible experience with SunRun, emailed and called multiple timesThere was a leak on the roof and the when the tech inspected the attic he pushed on the damaged dry wall causing it to crackI've reached out several times and no response On top of that, I had professional licensed roofer to come out and inspect, he noted that SunRun install the panels too close to the valley of the roof and he couldn't perform the necessary repairsSunRun is trying to charge me $when it is completely their faultI would give zero stars if I could

Since January ***, our solar system has gone down timesWe are the ones that identify a problem and have to contact themThen it takes several days for them to get back to us to tell us when a technician can come out to find the problemIn the meantime, we are paying much more for electricity because of their inferior product and serviceThey used misleading sales tactics and contract explanations to get us to sign up with them but they simply are not holding up their end of the Contract! We are sick and tired of being ripped off by this mediocre company!

Towards the end of [redacted] I was convinced by a salesman, [redacted] ***, to install Solar Panels on my fairly new house in [redacted] **I was impressed by the fact that it was a State sponsored program, approved by the then governor, [redacted] , in order to fight Global Warming, at no cost to the consumerSince Global Warming is for real, I wanted to do my part in saving energyAt that point, I asked a few questionsHow much will my monthly electric bill be after the solar panels are installed? He replied that it would be half the amount we currently payAfter a quick calculation, he concluded that my average monthly bill would be no more then around $ [redacted] What I had heard so far was like a dream! Number question was, "What if something will go wrong while we were in [redacted] for the winter? His answer was, "Not a problem, because we monitor the system from the office with the phone." (By the way, lately, talking to another major solar company, I found out that I should have

I purchased a home in March that already had solar panels from SunrunI was allowed to call the company and ask questions and I had my attorney who was handling the sale of the home review the contract and transfer agreement and was told it was standardI was told that there was a monthly fee paid to Sunrun but I wouldn't receive electric bills because the solar production would cancel them outI specifically asked the cost of having the panels removed if the roof had to be replaced because the roof was older and was told $In June the roof leaked (not related to the panels) and when I called Sunrun to get them removed in order for the roof to be replaced, the price for removal and then re-installation was now $3,The panels were removed weeks later, the roof was replaced within a week, and I called Sunrun the next day to have the panels put back onThis didn't happen until the last week of AugustI called SunRun times in August trying to move the process along, a

Ive had my solar system for 1/months and the system has worked for maybe monthIt keeps breaking down

Unwarranted Delays on installation of solar panels causing intense stress during a medically challenged timeDelays would have gone beyond expiration of permitWhen I insisted on getting work done and not accepting another delayed installation date, they realized we would have passed expiration of County permit- see detailed letter (see below) I emailed them explaining the situationI emailedI called Customer ServiceThey never respondedTheir collections department repeatedly called to ask for payment with out any customer follow up on how installation went, if we received the email of the invoice or if we were satisfied with their product/services

I have a solar system installed by sunrun with a contract to maintain the systemi have called time with the promise of some one getting to my home to repair the systemtime I was told that they had no one in las vegas but would send a electrician out who was contracted with themthey never showed upon the last call I was told they do have an office here and they would be out to repair the system the 1st of august over a month after it stopped working I find this way to long as they get paid each month for the system

Buyer beware!! We live in [redacted] and have been totally ripped off by Sunrun!! Our system was supposed to be installed the first of August - how about the end of December!! At the time our system was activated, we were told we would receive an owner's manual via mail in a few days After weeks I called the Customer Service Rep told me she would put one in the mail that day weeks later, still waiting only to be told today there is no Owner's Manual All of this is nothing I received my bill from APS this week I owe $ PLUS I have a $payment to Sunrun So in January my electricity is costing me $542.00!!! When we were told by our Salesperson, that with a system like ours, we would receive credits not bill!! I am going to spare all of the frustrations, but one last thing for people living in the [redacted] area, today we were told that the system do not generate much when the temperature is or over Last summer we had close to days of degrees I do not know how they maintain an A+ Rating with the Revdex.com Please, please don't make the mistake we did In the end this will cost us over $72,Plus our utility bills I feel so foolish!!

I inherited a SunRun system when I purchased my home in [redacted] of ***I was assured by the representative, Colin Daly, that if we were not satisfied with the performance of the panels, the company would remove them free of chargeI was also assured by a technician that came to inspect the panels that they were functioning properlySo I signed the agreement inheriting the contractThe panels have not functioned properly sinceI have had several technicians come out to the house; one said the panels were not functioning properly, another said they were fineI have called customer service no less than half a dozen times to try to resolve the problemCustomer service has confirmed on multiple occasions that the panels are not functioning properlyI have advised the company that I would like the solar panels removed, and was dismissed, stating that they "don't do that," by a representative named DonteI am extremely dissatisfied with this companyI did not choose them, they are n

Two guys show up at my door wanting to set an appointmentI had never heard of Sunrun beforeThey had no information to provide me, asked for my [redacted] account number, and when I asked for business cards, they hand wrote information inSeemed like a scam to me at the door, was a little rudeseeing that this is an actual business online, lots of opportunity to improve door to door effortsNo way I'd trust what showed up at my door

For about months Sunrun has refused to fix an installation error that has caused our solar power to bypass our home panel, and go right into the “grid.” Our actual home is not receiving solar powerIt took until about weeks ago for them to even acknowledge that there might be a problem, and to have a tech come look at our systemThe tech found the issue and we were given an appointment for serviceNo one cameWe calledStill, no one cameWe’ve been making our monthly payments and receiving no solar power to our homeThe next call will be from our lawyerWe have been paying for a product we did not receive

I am absolutely pissed with the outright lies our sales rep told us ,we are not saving any money.in fact it costs us more money per month.I truly wish I would not have gotten solar panels now.someone please start a class action lawsuit because of their deceptive sales practices and outright lies, which actually amounts to fraud

Frustrated (BEWARE) After spending over 26k with Sunrun, I have had nothing but bad customer service coupled with a slow runaround treatment! I went with Sunrun because they were the company [redacted]  stood behindMy system was installed in August So far the $5,battery "Brightbox" broke two months after installation, it then took another month before they installed a new LG batteryA couple of weeks after that episode the transformer broke and needed to be replacedAs of now, the battery system is still not workingWhen I reach out to the customer service Deptthey are nice as pie while they are telling me to wait another days before someone will contact me to make an appointment for a service tech to come out weeks down the road and address the issueUnfortunately I have to say, I've made a BIG MISTAKE going with Sunrun, their products and customer service have been nothing but a disappointment ( to put it nicely ) it's no wonder their stocks have dropped like a stoneI would like to get the Email address & a phone number to [redacted] *** ( Chief Customer Experience Officer) for Sunrun, and let her know her team is useless, and she should not be making a six figure salary

We are having a truly terrible experience with Sunrun. Here is all you need to know: after buying a $36,000 system that is rated to 10k our bill this month was....wait for it, $3,242 dollars. What they don't tell you is that when your systems under performs for any reason that they do not tell you or fix it. In our case our system under performed due to a broken inverter for 12 months. At the end of the year [redacted]  gives you a supplemental bill. Specifically I am trying to work with [redacted] . I have called her a total of 27 times with no phone call back. I have also tried [redacted]  She gave me a "guarantee" that Sunrun would give us a rebate when the system underperforms. My plan is to make everyone aware of what a bait and switch this company is.

Crooks! They forged my initials and signature and sent me a signed by"me" page contract.avoid these people

My daughter told her roommate, a SunRun representative, that I was interested in solar panels, but we would be selling the house soonHe said the program would be installed at no cost to us, would save us money, and they would come out to remove them and return the roof to its original condition, saving all the tiles, for $whenever we likedHe arranged to have someone come out to measure the roofThat gentleman said he had no info, was just there to measureOver the next month or two I called several times to see when someone would be coming to discuss the plan, or when I could see something in writing, but had no return callsThe roommate rep said it was someone else that would be contacting me and coming over, I assume because he was quite a ways distant from usOne night I got a call saying the installers would be at my house the next morningI said no, I had not seen anything in writing, and in fact would need time to check the company out and comparison shopEveryone p

Very frustrated with Sunrun!! I noticed one of my inverters making a clicking sound I looked at the display and it said that it was not operating correctly (essentially) I then contacted Sunrun They didn't send someone out for a week When someone came, they said that they had to order a replacement and that it would take two weeks to be shipped weeks came and went with no communication from Sunrun I have telephoned them more times since then with the same tap dance about "backorder" "Delays", etc Each time I phone them, the promise is that they will contact me with updates Never happens I am saddled with a contract that I can't get out of, unless I buy the contract

My wife and I recently decided to go solarWe chose sun runWe have been very pleased with the services they have provided us so farEveryone has been really friendly and knowledgeableI would recommend sun run to all my family and friends

Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (2000, 6, 2014/09/10) */ Sunrun has contacted us and has overnighted us a checkThank you for your quick response Sincerely, **
