Please be advised that since the purchase in 11/29/this marks only the 3rd repair visit, one prior oil change in and a transmission repair on 02/If the bolts are stripped on the wheel it happened where she had the tires replaced and state inspections performed, there is no documentation that we ever removed the tiresThanks Keith [redacted] Service Director Ron Lewis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Pleasant Hills A Member of the Ron Lewis Automotive Group ###-###-#### [redacted] www.ronlewisautomotive.com

Ron Lewis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Pleasant Hills has already repaired the crack in the plastic in front of the cluster We have ordered the part that surrounds the ignition and will install it for our customer when it arrivesIf you have any furthers concerns or questions, please contact me Steve P [redacted] Vice President

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. When I purchased the truck in March, 2017, it had 20,miles on it Using the logic in the dealer's response, this means it was already miles over the required maintenance interval Since this was a Chrysler buy-back, the selling dealer had an incentive to make sure all maintenance was up to date If they did not do so, that is still a failure of Chrysler and its agents (dealers) and so repair should be covered under warranty Additionally, I requested both in writing on my drop-off form and verbally over the phone that this dealer contact the selling dealer for guidance on addressing the issue since the failure to resolve it initially was the driver for the Chrysler buy-back for the original dealer Failure to do so shows a lack of due diligence on the part of the Ron Lewis dealership and a failure to deal in good faith I would still like my billing adjusted for the amount of the charge for this service Regards, [redacted]

We did sell and deliver this vehicle to Mr [redacted] however, all service on this vehicle was done by a different Chrysler dealership in Ohio We would be glad to service the vehicle for him He can give us a call at 412-655-to schedule an appointment for our technicians to diagnose any problems.Tom C [redacted] Vice President

Re [redacted] MsPatricia Cook: Mr [redacted] purchased the Wrangler on 06/22/The lift kit was on the vehicle when it was traded in by the previous owner [redacted] CDJR did not install the lift kit, it is a non- Chrysler kitNeither Chrysler Corporation nor [redacted] CDJR is responsible for that manufacturer's warrantyAny repairs associated with the front suspension would fall on the vendor that installed the lift kit and the lift kit manufacturerThe broken rear track bar is covered under Chrysler Corporations Manufacturer's WarrantyIn order for Chrysler to pay for the repairs including the tow bill the customer must call Chrysler's Roadside Assistance to have the vehicle towed to the nearest Chrysler Dealer for warranty repairs per Chrysler's policyWe were not the closest dealer from the location of the break down or track bar failureMr [redacted] 's Chrysler basic factory warranty is still in effect until 06/19/or 36,miles and the powertrain warranty (internal engine, transmission, and drivetrain) is good until 06/19/or 100,miles whichever occurs firstChrysler Corporation will honor his warranty as long as it is in effect and Mr [redacted] can have it serviced at any Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer in the countryAfter review, [redacted] CDJR and Chrysler Corporation are not responsible for any repairs involving the Non-Chrysler lift kitMr [redacted] would have to contact Chrysler Corporation to request, cancellation and refund of any existing factory warranties since any and all warranty statements are the responsibility of the manufacturer and not [redacted] CDJR.Sincerely, [redacted] Service Director

Since Mr [redacted] purchased a pre-owned vehicle and since his selling dealer refuses to show him the maintenance records there is no way for him to know what maintenance was done nor how well the vehicle was maintained so he should maintain his vehicle by mileageThe issue of the check engine light resulting in the Punder boost code on Mr [redacted] truck was from contaminants restricting the fuel injectors due to the fuel filter not being changed I have attached both pages of the maintenance guide for his specific vehicle from Dodge RamStatements specifically pertaining to the fuel filter are high lightedFCA (Dodge Ram) will not pay for maintenance nor for resulting repairs from lack of maintenanceMr [redacted] may consider contacting his selling dealer for possible reimbursement if that is where the vehicle was maintainedIf he is in disagreement with the scheduled maintenance guide or FCA's policy regarding maintenance he should contact the Chrysler Customer Assistance Center at [redacted]

The general manager and sales manager met with customers on 11/02/to resolve customers concerns In the pursuit of customer satisfaction the warranty was re-instated at the expense of the dealer, no charge to customer

Ms [redacted] was offered a loaner vehicle each time she had any service work completed Unfortunately, the last time she dropped off her vehicle for service, our technician used the wrong tool and ended up damaging her door This issue was fixed at our collision center, which includes a guarantee While at our collision center, we also fixed a dent on the front passenger door, detailed her vehicle and gave her a full tank of gasWe are reaching out to Ms [redacted] to set up a meeting to discuss this matter further

We have spoken to our customer and have taken care of his concernsScott S*General Manager

On, 11/8/at 12pm, I scheduled a meeting with Mr [redacted] At that point we agreed upon a suitable warranty that the dealership printed, signed and copied and handed to Mr [redacted] As of 11/8/2017, Mr [redacted] was satisfied with our resolution that he agreed upon Justin ** C [redacted] Sales ManagerRon Lewis Alfa Romeo/Pre-Owned Cranberry [redacted] ***A Member of the Ron Lewis Automotive Group

I do not have a record of oil changes since I purchased the vehicle used from a Chrysler dealer with over 20,miles on it. That dealer refused to share the maintenance records since they contained the personal information of the original owner. The oil change information should be in the Chrysler computer system and available to the dealer, though. There is an oil change sticker on the windshield from the original dealer that indicates the next oil change is due at 25,miles. The oil change indicator in the driver information display indicates that the truck has been driven 7,miles since the indicator was last reset and the gauge is between 1/and 1/of remaining life. In either case, the vehicle has not reached the 10,mile oil change threshold, but will be due soon. Additionally, if I read the owner's manual correctly, the oil life guage in the driver information display will indicate when an oil change is needed based on the driving conditions

***REPEAT COMPLAINT*** WHEN I PURCHASED MY JEEP I WAS SOLD AN EXTENDED WARRANTYTHE FINANCE PERSON THEN CHANGED THE CONTRACT AND THE WARRANTY WAS NO LONGER INCLUDEDI HAD A MEETING WITH THE SALES MANAGER AND JOBIE G***, ANOTHER MANAGER AND THE RESOLUTION AT THAT MEETING WAS I AGREED TO THE HIGHER INTEREST RATE AND THE DEALERSHIP WOULD PROVIDE THE WARRANTYI CONTACTED THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND WAS TOLD MY WARRANTY DOES NOT EXISTI HAVE CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AND JOBIE G*** AND HAVE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.TO HAVE THE WARRANTY PAID FOR, AS PROMISEDTO HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRS COVERED BY SAID WARRANTY

FCA (Fiat Chrysler America) originally denied the repair for Mr***'s Ram Truck through their digital imaging program on December 17th, Senior Management at Ron Lewis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram became aware of the situation after receiving the Revdex.com complaint and researching the
vehicle historyOn 12/23/the Service Director, Jim F* contacted Chrysler's District Area Manager from FCA corporation and was able to secure a one time goodwill repair to have the front bumper repainted on this vehicle at no charge to the guestWhen the Revdex.com case has been concluded, Mr *** should contact the dealership service department to schedule the repair

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

I spoke with Mr *** and apologized for any inconvenience. Ron Lewis Automotive Group also provided him with an oil change package at no charge. If you need anything further, please feel free to contact me. Thank you, Dave M***General Sales Manager

Please be advised that we are addressing all of Mr***’s concerns. The vehicle is scheduled in for the paint repairs on March 15,We have no record at this date and time of providing him with the extra key, however if he has not received one, we will have one here, when we perform the
paint repairs. We apologize for any inconvenience we causedWe have corrected the process flaw that created the confusion and appreciate his feedback. Thank You Sincerely Keith ** *** Service Director

In response to Mr***’s complaint I have enclosed a copy of the installment loan, the bank approval and stipulations, buyers order, GAP contract, vehicle service contract application, signed menu of optional coverages available, and the letters from Zurich confirming his cancellation request
The item Mr*** is referencing on the GAP contact is a standard disclosure, as it is possible the contract would not absorb all equity in every single claim. It was explained to Mr*** in the event that he was delinquent on payments would be the only instance his GAP contract would not cover a total loss claim on his vehicle since he financed less than 150% of MSRP and less than $50,000, both are the maximum allowance for absorption by a gap contract. In reference to the Service Contract, Zurich does not cover Uber and Lyft vehicles and any vehicle that tows something outside of its mechanical capacity, both of which were explained to Mr***. Mr*** requested a cancellation from Zurich and received confirmation letters which clearly stated the refunds would be issued to the lien holder if the account was not paid in full. This is a requirement of the lien holder to protect their interests and we are required to remit funds for cancellations to them if the account has not been paid in full. In reference to the down payment, the bank required a down payment of $10,regardless of the purchase of optional products, so his belief that his down payment was increased due to the purchase of these products is mistaken. The bank required $10,down payment for financing approval with or without these productsSincerely, Diane H***Vice President/Controller

We included a factory bed liner with the purchase of Mr*** truck from Ron Lewis CDJR Pleasant Hills which was installed according to factory specifications. It is our practice to install factory accessories on new vehicles purchased from our dealership unless the customer specifically requests otherwise. Upon review of Mr*** complaint and pictures it appears that may not have been the best solution based on his use of the vehicle for his type of businessWe are willing to reimburse him $for half the price of a spray in bed liner as he requested as we now realize that is the solution that works best for him. We will be mailing a check for $to his address we have on file We apologize for any inconvenience and hope Mr*** will enjoy many years of satisfaction with his new Dodge Ram. Sincerely, Tom C***Executive Vice President
