Supreme modular homes is a great choice if your looking to build a good quality home for an affordable price. As an investor quality and price are my top priority.

My experience and opinion is that supreme modular is a great company.

We have our dream home! Happy!

I am very happy with the service received from this company. I felt that the pricing provided during the sales meeting were very reliable. I did have an issue during construction regarding my shower door and they compensated me in a partial refund and still doing the work. They honored their word.

Be careful with this company! They will promise you the world during the sales pitch, then deny everything that they promised. In addition, they will not tell you certain cost until the after contract is signed, and then they are reluctant even them. Most likely because they want you to give them more money. Their newest trick was to make you pay $900 to have the plumbing, electrical and ductwork for the washer and dryer installed in a room that was designated a laundry room. Why wasn't this presented at the options meeting. I believe it is way for them to extract more money from you. This amount / missing utilities was during a $8500 draw payment for the building plans. Why wasn't this relayed to me before I drove out to their business. In addition, This was 4 months after signing the contract and $15, 000 down payment.

I disagree. This is a great company.

We bought a custom home from Supreme Modular, and we couldn't be happier. The way they handled our project was second to none. I would certainly refer anyone to this company. And if we build again at our shore home, which we may demolish in the summer, we will def use Supreme Modular for that project to. The price of the home wasn't the cheapest but you do get what you pay for, since we build with another company many years ago and the project was not the same super quality and service provided by Supreme Modular. Use them, you will be glad you did

Review: They withheld funds owed to us and have repeatedly denied our written requests to show proof of their claims. First, they withheld $1,180. for electrical work they said I requested. I have no knowledge of the request nor would I have known about the service details to make the request.

They withheld $3,000. owed to me as a credit for going with their company. The credit was toward factory upgrades. They told us numerous times the credit would be given at closing but at closing they said it was already applied. They have no records of the credit--and they keep good records of any monetary transaction-- and would only tell us they mentioned this to us during a call. They say they tape all calls but refuse to provide details.

They withheld $1,210 at closing for removing standing water. They never did a bit of work without payment in advance and never made mention of this until closing. At no time, and it is their written policy, was work to continue until a check from us or the bank was received. Why then can they make this claim?

Their failure to present a shred of proof is infuriating to me and to me this is just plain stealing.Desired Settlement: Give me the money they owe me. It should be noted they were willing to give me $4,180 at closing if I signed a general release absolving them from any claims against them or against the home warranty. This is not an honest organization or the way to do business. Unfortunately, because of a clause in the Agreement of Sale, I can only try for restitution but going through a costly and lengthy arbitration process.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because there is no litigation pending. Supreme had our case dismissed because our agreement of sale states that we can only go to the [redacted] for disputes. The cost of arbitration isn't worth it for us for the amount of money they took from us.

Stating that you are an honest company does not make it so and these guys are anything but. Others should be aware of their actions and you should have an interest in getting reviews available to innocent people that rely on your site and reputation.

Bottom line, they owe us money and at closing on our house they brought a check for the money but would only give it to us if we signed a general waiver that prevented us from opening any claims for repairs even those included in our warranty. This is unethical to say the least. They owe us money and refuse to provide evidence that they don't -- even though I have asked verbally and in writing several times. The two main items are:

1. They gave us a $3000. credit toward builder upgrades and said it would be honored at closing. They refused to honor it and said they applied the credit during the sales cycle -- even though they have no record and provided us with no evidence of it. It should also be noted that every cent for everything they did required our signature so how this could go un-notices is ridiculous.

2. They withheld $1180. from us to move the electric feed to the house from one side to the other. They said we requested it and that is why we should pay. However, I would never think of or know anything about an electric feed. When I called the electric company they said Supreme never called them to find out where the feed would be provided. They called this builders 101.

It is frustrating to deal with dishonest people and have little recourse other than letting others know that they should be on the alert.

Supreme ran almost a year over their own projected deadline because of their failure to follow local building codes and having to redo work or because they failed to take the proper steps first to determine what type of work was needed.

These are facts. You can't let them off the hook or it makes your service worthless. I know that people can make erroneous claims but this is your business and you should have some way of getting to the answers when things like this arise.
