In our shipping policies on our website we do have a statement on oversized items and there policies if additional shipping is required to send an order outNot all items on our site have a weight and dimension as we may not have had the item in our inventory at time of sale, the instance in this
case was a set of running boards that had to be ordered in as these were not a stocked item, they arrived in and were deemed an oversized item for shipping there weight was pounds with the following shipping dimensions 88x19xthis puts them into oversized shipping with ups we cannot absorb this extra fright costWe then contacted the customer to explain why we were unable to ship the items at the price originally stated due to the product being an oversized shipping itemCustomer stated he was not going to pay this and had a legal binding contract with the original receiptWe explained our policy but the customer did not want to hear itwe offered to cancel and refund the order he demanded to speak to someone elsewe explained he was speaking to the customer service manger and he would be the one to handle the issueWe offered the customer to split the difference he did not want to split the difference he wanted his parts as he purchased them, again we explained our oversized policiesIn the end we cancelled his order and refunded him at that timeThe customer paid with a credit card so the refund takes time to post back to the accountThe refund was submitted by Tasca on 2/22/at 11:am

Tasca Automotive Group is doing their best to reach a fair compromise with *** *** regarding the damage on her vehicle. She is asking Tasca to take full responsibility for the extensive damage. We are not willing to do so for several different reasons First, when Ms
***’s vehicle was towed by *** to our dealership, there was no one there to check in the vehicle but *** left the vehicle on our lot regardless. We have tried to contact *** and have had no cooperation. We asked Ms*** to help obtain information from *** with no cooperation. Seeing that a third party was involved and subsequently had the vehicle in their possession for over an hour in route, we do not feel it is unreasonable to want to gather information from *** We have more than one employee who states that the damage was on the vehicle when the doors opened on Monday. The damages on the truck are not consistent with Ms***’s claims As a gesture of good will, Tasca has agreed to replace the tailgate. We feel this is a very reasonable offer considering all the facts of this situation

I will follow through on customer concern and get back to you...Thank you, *** *** To Whom it May Concern; This is to update you on *** *** ***. This gentleman did not purchase his vehicle from Tasca He did bring it in for repairsHe was
given a list of repairs that the vehicle needed. Mr*** declined the repairs at the time, but was told by Tasca, that if he at least does a front alignment, it would get him by for now. Mr*** agreed to the alignment, which would cost him $He was only charged, I believe about $Mr*** left with the list of repairs, had them done elsewhere, then returned to Tasca demanding that they do the alignment, and for free. *** ***, from ***, called Mr***, and again, offered to go half on the alignmentMr*** flatly refused*** ***, then agreed to cover the alignment as long as Mr*** had the complaint removed from The Revdex.comMr*** is scheduled to return to Tasca on Thursday 1/14, for the repair. Would it be possible for you to update once complaint is removed. Thank you, *** *** ***@tasca.com

*** *** had service done in the Darmouth *** store in August He felt he was overcharged so he said down at the time with the Service Manager and also with the GM of the store Fred Royce at the time It was agreed that he would receive a $credit towards his next service which he agreed to and was noted in his file There was no issue If this customer would prefer to have his $back they will gladly send him his money

Attached please find screen shots of the original email sent describing all of the damage, not just the tailgate. In addition, please find the screenshot of the email sent with the *** contact information I received and forwarded to Mr***. Someone should also talk to the Manager, *** (I apologize if the spelling of his name is incorrect), who accepted the damage with a promise to fix it on Thursday May 11th (He actually said he would get me a new truck, but that is not what I am looking for)

To whom it may concernMy name is [redacted] The General Manager of the PreOwned Factory's and I would like to address the issues [redacted] had with her 2002 [redacted]. First of all we hate to hear that any of our customers have issues with some of the older higher mileage vehicles that we sell and...

offer a 30 day 1250 mile powertrain and safety warranty with regardless of mileage or age. believe me if we had a crystal ball and could predict that [redacted] was going to have an issue 4 months and 6000 miles after she purchased the vehicle we certainly would not have sold her or anyone the vehicle. I have looked into the service records on this vehicle and it seems that [redacted] hasn't been back to the dealership with any complaints, for that matter not even an oil change, since she purchased it. We weren't even made aware of the transmission problem until she had already had it repaired at another facility. The [redacted] was clearly out of the 30 day warranty but had [redacted] called us and brought it to our service department we probably could have helped her out as we often do with our customers. But because we didn't have a chance to inspect the damage or ascertain how it was damaged im sure you understand that unfortunately we will not be able to offer any assistance at this time. The state mandated 30 day warranty is put in place to protect both the consumer and the dealer as we could not possibly afford to warranty used vehicles forever. If this had occurred during the 30 day period we would have stepped up and taken care of the issue. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you and you family.Thank You[redacted]

Good
afternoon [redacted],I
apologize for the confusion sir, as it does appear the diagram shown in our
online catalog is vague and not very informative. I will be happy to assist in
correcting this for you.. I
reviewed your order and see there is no vin# associated with it?.. We do ask
that...

a vin# be included so that we can verify fitment for you prior to
shipping.. Because we work with 6 manufacturers and slightly more than two
million different applications, there is potential for error, and the vin is
how we try to safeguard you from receiving a wrong item.If
you would please forward your vin# to me ?.. [redacted],
I will look up the correct vacuum reservoir for you right away..
Very
Best Regards,[redacted]
