I am concerned that if my phone number is provided to them that they will add me to other lists just as they did with the one they are calling me on. I would prefer that they just remove number in the area code or the 302-exchange. If you call them they ask for financial
information so it appears they are an identity theft organization. From the message they sent they said they had spoken to me in the past which they did not, so it is obvious they are phishing
Thanks,***

We always find it difficult when were unable to resolve a client's caseHowever, we qualified this client for an offer and compromise based on the information he disclosed to us about his financesWhen finding out he omitted the fact the he had over $100k in a cash asset which immediately
disqualifies him for an offer and compromiseThen, we attempted to amend his tax return to correct a filing done which stated that the government paid for his health insurance for all of which would have removed all liability against clientWhen we amended the return however, he disclosed that he actually was a program in which he agreed to reimburse the government at the end of the year for his health insurance (which he also did not disclose to us)The lack of success was not due to our inefficiencies as a firm but, the fact that the client repeatedly omitted information in reference to his finances as well as his filing status (whether he did this willfully o negligently remains to be unknown). However, even though we were not obliged to refund a dollar to this client we gave him half of what he paid our firm due to the fact we were unable to alter his status with the IRSWe were more than fair with the client, and he is due absolutely NO money back

After my third attempt and losing a few thousand dollars from other companies, I was very reserved when I called Tax Law Advocates From the moment I spoke with my consultant I felt like this was the company I wanted to do business with They were straight to the point, very prompt at returning calls, emails and documents I was so impressed and satisfied with their results I would recommend this company to anyone You cant go wrongThe employees are friendly and my whole experience with them was pleasant and they made me feel very confident that they could resolve my issues and they did

If a client has a problem with any advertisement that is sent, all they simply have to do is unsubscribe from the advertisement list, or they could call in and we would remove them for marketing list the same secondAll they would simply have to do is inform us, and they would stop receiving any
advertisements

They did everything they said and moreCould not be happierVery positive with everyone I had contact with

Revdex.com:
Someone from the business names in complaint ID
*** has contacted me although they claim the business no longer exists
They have given me a verbal offer to reimburse a portion of the fees (in payments of $a month up to a total of $1200) that I paid for the services the company did not render. In return I have agreed to release the complaint when payments have been made to my satisfaction
However, it strikes me as a bit odd that a company which no longer exists would would respond in this manner to the Revdex.com's notification of complaint when they did not respond to any correspondence from me, sent to the same address, for nearly a year
I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved
Regards,
*** ***

I had a great experience with everyone I talked withThey did what they said they were going to do!

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The reason I am not satisfied with this response is I have been told this same thing since They said the IRS takes 7-months and it's already been three years, I also have not heard from them since last year nor will they return my calls at one point they told me the IRS agent was not responding so all they could do is wait that was almost a year ago

Ms***,The basis for your argument has now changedYou stated in your initial complaint, that we have done nothing, and we have lost you information, and we have missed your deadline of March. Now you are only stating that any work completed after March is not validAgain, both you and our is bound by a contractThe contract you signed says nowhere that we were contractually obligated to complete your case by March of That is a narrativeOur firm did not sign a contract that states we are legally obligated to finish your case before March of 2017, and you did not sign an ag***ent that states we agreed to complete your case by March of 2017.You have received copies of the tax returns we have completed on your behalf, if you have misplaced them we would be more than willing to send you copies.I advise you to read your contract.Thank you,

We do in fact have paperwork from *** *** allowing us to tax automatic payment for the services rendered, and *** *** claim that we took payment without consent is slanderous and Tax Law Advocates will provide the documents in question if necessaryWe have given his Revenue Officer everything she has requested, and been in contact with the client, as well as answered any questions that he has via-telephone, as well as email (his preferred method of communication)
Tax Law Advocates, is now just waiting from a response from the Revenue Officer so the case can be completedWe have addressed all of *** *** concerns on numerous occasions and have rendered the service he signed on for
Thank you,

They helped us more than we thought they could. We are grateful for them.Very well worth the time they lowered our IRS debt tremendously ..We will be using them for tax filing in the future

I understand the client's concernHowever, the settlement was only submitted months ago, although he has been a client for longer than thatAnd we do understand that it is a very long waitHowever, when it's in the hands of the Internal Revenue Service their is not much we can do but continuously check on it, and make sure that is on the track of approvalIf the client would like we can withdraw the settlement and come up with an alternative resolution that would not require such a long wait timeHowever, the reason the settlement takes the longest, is it is the resolution option with the largest benefit in favor of the tax payer. However, if our client would like to withdraw it and reach an alternative resolution our firm would be more than willing

It is a darn shame that a company like  this would use bull____ and double talk. to rob a 65 year old man of his money, it goes to show you what they are like . Revdex.com please keep this complaint out there so people will know what they are  capable of doing.  they are crooks, thieves. [redacted] said he likes to help Spanish speaking people, but you are a disgrace to the race.

It was an absolute delight to work with the congenial staff from top to bottom at the Tax Law Associates who presented our financial challenges to the IRS. Of course we have "spread the good word" to our own friends and neighbors including a widow we took to the hospital even today!

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Thank you for the response.  It appears that there can not be a resolution.  As you can obviously tell from their response, they will continue to try to scam consumers.  To respond to their statements:
"It appears there is some confusion regarding our product/service and intent"
They sent un-solicited messages stating that they had recently had conversations with me about financial matters.  I never had conversations with them.  I do not discuss financial matters with companies that call me.  I only discuss finances with companies who I call.
When I called them, their agent who said he is name was "Matt" told me that the person in the fax was not a real person.  The persons name was used to make it the fax look legitimate.
"Matt" demanded sensitive personal information to continue the call.  And refused to remove me from their list because my phone number is "a valid phone number.
Their intent is clear.  Identity theft by phishing.
"We only market direct to businesses and not to residential consumers. Moreover, we only use opt-in/verifiable and permissible data for such marketing campaigns."
The number they called is registered as a residential line at the LEC.
I have had the number for over 6 years.
I have never run a business from my home.  I don't take business calls on my home number.
I don't normally have a fax machine at home; although, I did connect one to determine the source of the calls.
I never opted-in to any spam lists.  I never opt-in to any lists.  I opt-out of lists from the companies with whom I do business.
I have never "done business' with this group.
Considering the points above - their spam lists could not be "verifiable and permissible".
"Additionally, we never market at “all hours” only once every 3 weeks at 11:30 AM EST on a weekday direct to the business."
Simply incorrect.  I have received calls at many different hours including late in the evenings and early in the morning.
However, we do acknowledge that inadvertent errors can happen and it’s possible we tried to reach the consumer by mistake. The fax transmission in question is for a real and genuine product and contains three different forms of toll-free communication for the recipient to opt-out.
Again, considering the points above, this comment means nothing.
"Again, we apologize for the mistake/intrusion and ask that he call 877-529-[redacted] to have any fax number removed from future correspondence by First American Capital. "
There is no reason for me to call them, I never asked to be spammed.
It should not be my responsibility to support their activities.  They are the scammers & spammers.
I do not wish to do business with them.
Although we know they will never remove anyone, they can simply strip the numbers in the [redacted] exchange from their list.  Then people can "opt-in" to their wonderful service.
Regards,[redacted]

Customer can verify that he has already been contacted and that he would be receiving a refund.  Customer can also verify that he would be withdrawing his complaint.

The Professional Team at Tax Advocates really came thru for me. I had used 3 other Tax Law Firms in the previous 4 years. I spent thousands of dollars with the other 3 with misguided information. Then I found Tax Law Advocates and believe me, I'm so glad I did. They were not only cheaper in their cost for representation, they were Professional, Courteous, and was at every turn guiding me painlessly thru my ordeal with the IRS. Then they got me into a resolution settlement that IRS accepted, I owed $14,000 and change and they got me an agreement to pay that 14 grand off for $100. WOW!!!!! They are a good team that will get you the best settlement, in a timely manner, and they won't break your piggy bank.

October 3, 2017  Dear Revdex.com Representative, and, Mr. [redacted]: In response to the September 28, 2017 reply from Mr. [redacted]: 1. The Tax Preparer must provide the facts and circumstances of facts, any activity, conditions, or, transactions, in writing, to protect the taxpayer from the liability of potentially erroneous information. It’s the law. Mr. [redacted] files taxes electronically, so he has Tax Preparer software that records all of his activities, the conditions, or, transactions, for him. All he needed to do was provide me with the verifiable legal proof that he performed said activity or transaction. If he had any facts to provide, he should have sent it electronically, or, submitted the hard copy, before the March 2017 deadline. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] didn’t send them. 2. Anything other than, or, outside of, the terms of our November 2106 - March 2017 contract is irrelevant. For example, claims of any specific activities, services, or, transactions, must be accompanied by legally verifiable proof they were performed before the contract deadline. Additionally, Mr. [redacted] must provide me with (1) verifiable legal proof that he performed said activity, or, transaction, and, (2) that he was legally authorized, and, legally qualified, to do so. This information should have been submitted to me by the March 2017 deadline. 3. Mr. [redacted] is required by law to provide me with a copy of the tax returns he submitted by March 2017, which they were not. The tax returns must be accompanied by verifiable legal proof that the IRS or CA-FTB successfully checked them for accuracy e.g. they met compliancy. E should have sent them to me by the March 2017 but he didn’t. 4. Mr. [redacted] is legally required to return my tax records, including any photocopies, because I requested them in July 2017. He hasn’t fulfilled my request. If there’s something specific I can do to help him expedite my requests, please let me know.  [redacted]

After speaking with a representative from Tax Law Advocates I was led to believe they could assist with reducing my back taxes. I paid them $2,500.00 and they did nothing on my behalf that I could have not done on my own very easily. They had me gather my information and they got me a payment plan with the IRS. I could have done that on my own and put the $2,500.00 towards my back taxes. I feel I was mislead and waste a large fee that could have put a significant dent in my back taxes. VERY DISAPPOINTING to say the least!
