I've been an instructor with Taylor Robinson Music since 2015. In the first few years, I received very few student referrals, despite that I am highly skilled in teaching 3 different instruments (violin, mandolin, guitar). The few students I had told me they were quite happy with their lessons.
Over the past 3 years, I have been receiving "Availability Inquiries" to which I often reply that I am available. NONE of these have resulted in students being referred to me and I haven't made a dime from this bogus outfit in years.
Instead, they send me a letters all with the exact same words >> "Thanks for getting back to me about [student's name]. They decided to hold off on starting their lessons for now. I'll be sure to get in touch with you when they are ready to get started and I'll definitely be in touch about other new students as they come in!"
YEAH RIGHT!
There is about as much chance of this happening, as snow here in Tampa, Florida.

The percentage of my payment that goes to Taylor Robinson as opposed to my voice teacher (who only gets 60% of what I paid for the lesson) seems a little ridiculousI also did not have a positive experience in my lessons themselves, as the teacher was very difficult to work with because I needed to repeat anything I said at least four or five times before the teacher remembered it/ seemed to understandAs she was representing Taylor Robinson, I cannot say I got my money's worth from the lessons, especially since I was paying $more through Taylor Robinson than I would have had I contacted her independently
Very helpful for my year OldThe teacher has been amazingGood experience and lots of patienceMy son is loving it..!! You need to work out the schedule but worth doing it
My daughters received their first vocal lesson with Kelvin today He was prompt and friendly which was extremely important since my youngest tends to be a little shy His instructions were educational, clear and FUN! They can't wait until their next lesson Thanks to [redacted] Music for all their follow up and helping us find a great teacher
At first I was a little nervous because it seemed like a big corporation type and I was afraid we'd get lost in the shuffle and not a personal experienceThey are well organized and give very personal care and considerationVery happy with the teacher we are withWe were able to read a number of information pages on several teacher and picked the one that best suited my son that was very helpfulMy son is very happy with his choice
We were able to find an instructor close to our home and she was a perfect match for our daughter! The only negative was that the website indicated a studio So Google showed the studio address and we went there but it was a residence; not even the right place for the instructor Very confusing to use the term "studio" It is an instructor's home not a studio
My daughter enjoyed the sessionMy husband was impress with the way the instructor treated our year old & encourage herWe love his goal as making her fall in love with music instead of making her play piano
I'm years old and recently decided to start piano lessonsI have no experience playing piano [redacted] has been so friendly and helpful through bookingTom [redacted] came to my house for my first lesson and it was so much fun!! We practiced scales, beats, and we even played part of a Coldplay song togetherHe answered all my questions, was very patient with me and very positive with his feedbackI cannot wait for my next lesson!!!
