Jan 12 2018-"Hi, looking for information on this order. It's been two weeks since it was placed and I have yet to receive a tracking number."
Jan13-"We do apologize for the delay. I do show this was a special order so we shall get in touch with the warehouse and see where your product is. We will send tracking the moment it is available.

Jan 15-"We do apologize for the inconvenience and delay. Our warehouse is stating that this would be around 4-5 weeks to get this out. Please let us know how you'd like to proceed.

Jan16-"Seems like quite the delay... Almost 2 months for a part that could be drop shipped from aem and arrive in less than 2 weeks?

I'm upset because every step of the way I've been lied to. Advertised right on the main page is "fast shipping from Canada", but that's an outright lie!

Nowhere did it say that this part would be a "special order", nor delayed because of it. Just a surprise email 3 days after I placed the order... An email with another lie stating that I would RECEIVE my product in 10-15 days.
Now you are telling me it will be an additional 4-5 WEEKS?! That's unacceptable. Orders from CHINA get here faster than that...

This has been my first experience with tdot performance, and if it continues to go downhill will likely be my last. I thought I'd give what looked to be a good Canadian company a chance. I had even given a US manufacturer looking to expand dealers into Canada this company's name because it looked like a good company. I think I'm going to recant that statement now.

I can understand not physically stocking all products, but what I cannot sympathize with is just poor logistics causing such an unreasonable delay.

I need what I ordered, and I need it in a REASONABLE amount of time."
Jan 17- "We do apologize for the inconvenience. With a site of over 400,000 products, it is very hard for us to have a live inventory on every single product which is why we try to inform the customer as quickly as possible if there are any extended wait time which you confirmed. Unfortunately, with special orders, we are at the mercy of the manufacturer and can not do anything about their own back orders and the shipping times from the manufacturers to us and then out to you. We were originally told *** that this would be the 10-15 business days but were just informed on the new ETA. Unfortunately, I cannot speed up the process to get this sent out to you. Please let us know how you'd like to proceed and if you'd like to look into any other possible alternatives that may be available quicker.

That company is not an authorized dealer of ours so I'm unable to find out who they order through. As for the part number, I have plenty of *** in stock and haven't been back ordered on that."

Desired Outcome

Immediate refund due to no warranty on products (*** advertising as authorized dealer),(and product still being undelivered).

Hello ***.

Our apologies for this. We are authorized dealers for *** intakes and although we are not for *** electronics, the supplier we get it through is and so we could have still taken care of it had there been any warranty claims or any other issue with the order. We understand how this can be misleading and I have forwarded this on to my manager to get *** electronics set up as an authorized retailer.

I so want to apologize for the delays on our end. It was only recently determined that our warehouse could not get this line of products and why it took so long for the warehouse to relay that message to us, I'm not too sure but rest assured that something like this will not happen again.

I ordered 4 items from Tdot . the first 2 items arrived in good shape . Factory packaging so I would have expected that . the third Item was a sunroof visor ,, Arrived with a huge scratch about 14" long . Instead of trying to return I bought some plastic scratch remover and spent an hour polishing the scratch out .. turned out in ok condition . the 4th item arrived with the box taped up like it had been returned from another buyer , one end completely open with about 10 pieces of tape crossed over all the way down the one side . The other end of the box was all crushed in ,( I took pictures of the box before I opened the package because of the obvious damage that was going to be found ) . This item was a bush bumper so it had considerable weight . the plastic clear coat that protects the painted surface was all peeled off of one side and the mounting bracket bent over to one side as well the stainless guard bracket was bent as well and a kink in the stainless . I sent all the pictures to TDot with no response . I followed it up with another email and still no response . The customer service when trying to purchase something was decent , the customer service when it comes to backing up the products they sell is extremely poor . ***

I have bent the mounting bracket and the stainless plate bracket back the best I could and wet sanded the clear coat . Now I need to spend approximately $20 for a clear coat spray I can apply myself ..

It would have been a better solution to be dealing with a company that backed their products or at least responded to your emails

I ordered front disks and brake pad set. Took 4 weeks to receive my package. I received a small package with rear brake pads! No front disks, no front brake pads.
I Refused the brake pads. Called customer service. 10 days later I received my front disk rotors. But never received the brake pads. Just gave up after repeated calls to customer service. If something goes wrong with your order. This company will not help you.

I ordered a trailer wiring harness. It was faulty.. left blinker did not blink.
Customer service was very poor. 3-7 days for a reply if you're lucky. Been 2 1/2 months since purchase date.. manufacturer just replaced it and had it sent to me in 24 hrs.
And finally received a msg from T dot on return instructions.. I have nothing good to say about T dot performance
