The owner MARK T[redacted] is a thief and a scam artist! My husband tried to get his deposit of $1,200.00 back and they give him the run around and lied that they already processed the deposit. Finally my husband called the credit card company and filed a dispute. When they find out the credit card company refunded the deposit, they submitted a forgery document that had my husband signature on the credit card receipt. My husband signed a document in the desert early morning before they release the vehicles to him but they didn't give him copy of the receipt and he didn't think to take picture with his phone. They did the same thing on the check list that my husband signed when he returned the vehicle. We returned the ATV with no damages. The owner wrote on the credit card slip and check list that there are damages and late return. We don't have copy of the credit card but we have pictures showing the time when the vehicle was released to us. Our appointment is at 9 AM but they forgot to bring to keys with the vehicle so we waited for almost 1.5 hours for another employee to bring the keys. They are running a rental business where all they need to provide is gas and key??? [redacted]! Unfortunately without a copy before they added the damage and late return on the receipt, the credit card company can't help us. What is even more disgusting, this company is formerly known as "FULL THROTTLE POWER SPORTS" I can't believe all the negative reviews and it's all about deposit refund. Just make me laugh that the stated the following message on Yelp "59 reviews for Full Throttle Power Sports that are not currently recommended". Wish we read these NEGATIVE REVIEWS before doing business with TEMPE POWERSPORTS & MARINE aka FULL THROTTLE POWER SPORTS!!

We have already refunded the customer 100 percent of the money paid to our company. We will refund for gas and give a 50 percent rental credit if this would resolve the dispute.  Any bad review would also need to be removed.

[redacted] rented a 2015 Polaris RZR 4 seater from us on 06/01/2015.  The first day of the rental the customer had called and told us they decided to change the belt.  The belt that was on the machine was new and in good working order.  Upon replacement of the belt, the person...

that did it first and foremost did not have our authorization to change the belt. Per page 3 of the rental contract number 13 it reads "Do not attempt to fix, alter, repair, or replace any parts on said equipment if damaged during use (See [redacted]s initials next to 13).  Please trailer and return to our rental facility immediately or next business day if after store hours.When the customer had the person with them change the belt they did it incorrectly causing damage to the primary and secondary clutch assembly as well as the new belt they installed.  Had this been done properly they would not have ever had a issue.  We did not ever authorize them to work on our equipment.  After failure of the belt they replaced due to incorrect installation we instructed them to bring the machine back and we would provide a replacement machine.  Once the 2015 Polaris RZR was returned it was returned with 2.5 hours of use on the unit.  We provided a replacement machine for them to finish there rental.  Upon return of the second machine a 2014 Can Am Maverick, we found that they had put 80 offroad miles on it.  Complaining saying they didn't use it is completely false.  See attached Checkin and Checkout sheet with mileage.  Upon return we also recognized they had replaced our trailer jack and never decided to mention it.  We emailed them and they continued to lie to us.  We had a heavy duty jack on our trailer and they put a replacement jack not rated for the size of trailer that was a cheap inexpensive replacement that was used. I took my boat to Tempe PowerSports and Marine at the suggestion of a friend who had work done their years ago. Mark and his crew exceeded my expectations. I bought the boat new in 2004 and when I picked it up today it look like BRAND NEW. The estimate I received was EXACTLY what I was quoted.

My wife and I had a great time; if you are a beginner on an ATV, they make sure you know how to operate it. They have reasonable prices, way better than other alternatives...

My two friends and I who rented the UTV live in Indiana and we have no future plans to come back to Phoenix.  We certainly wouldn't fly across the country to redeem a 50% UTV rental; 2). The offer fails to make my two friends and I whole because we spent another approximate $100.00 for the rental/fueling of a [redacted] truck we needed to haul the UTV, not to mention the fact that we wasted almost an entire day of our vacation; 3).   After the UTV started having issues on the trail, the manager confessed over the phone that this UTV had a history of mechanical problems and yet they still rented their defective product to my two friends and I.  Further, I neglected to state this in my original complaint, but when we picked up the UTV that morning the check engine/maintenance light was on.  The manager insisted to us that this light meant nothing and that they merely could not get the light off for some reason.  In hindsight it seems apparent that the light was on for a reason and I strongly believe that Full Throttle was aware that their product was defective.  For reasons stated herein, I believe there is strong evidence that Full Throttle knowingly rented a defective product.  Not only do I think Full Throttle possibly committed fraud, I think they endangered my two friends and I.  For example, had the Can Am first lost power as we were climbing a steep incline, it could have had terrible consequences.  Because of the potential for fraud and issues of public safety I reported our experience with Full Throttle to the [redacted] Consumer Complaints division.  4). It would not be rational given everything stated above to rent from Full Throtte again, even at a severely discounted rate.Regards,[redacted]

Full Throttle, worst of the worst. Check out all the negative internet reviews. They treat their customers and employees equally bad.
Long story short, they charged about $450 to rebuild the carbs and clean the reed valves on my Yamaha 90. Picked up the boat and it wouldn't start. Full Throttle insisted that the reed valves needed to be replaced for another $300 - $400. I had an honest mechanic look at the boat. He told me that the carburetors had not been touched and that reed valves don't need cleaning. As a matter of fact, it is very rare to replace reed valves. He inspected mine and told me they were in perfect condition. A few minor adjustments and he had my boat running perfectly. He felt that Full Throttle deliberately sabotaged my engine in order to sell me additional unnecessary service and did not do the service that they originally billed me for.
I filed a dispute with [redacted] and got a complete refund.
Do not do business with Full Throttle. As dishonest as they come.

Thanks for a great time! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and we will definitely recommend renting from Full Throttle!

We rented the Maverick from Tempe Powersports. The machine and trailer were ready on time and since we needed it for a Sunday ride, we were able to pick it up Sat night and return Monday morning.

However, the machine we rented was having mechanical issues so we were not able to use in 4 wheel drive and the clutch was slipping when we tried to put in gear. We were able to manage and had enough power that we were still able to enjoy our trip. Also the tires were practically bald and made us more concerned doing anything in too loose of gravel on our ride

We returned the machine with no issues, but they took forever to return our security deposit with very little regard to the fact that they were holding $1,000 of my hard earned dollars. We are at the 10th "business" day today (4/10/15) and I still do not have my money back. I asked for them to cut me a check for the $1,000 and I would drive all the way back out to them to pick up and was told that was not an option as they cannot write checks.

I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before we rented otherwise we would have rented from somewhere else. Especially since those companies - collectively - only hold the security deposits for 24-48 hours from the return date. I think they use the security deposits to float their accounting which is fraud and dishonest!

They are not worth any future business!

Appreciate fixing my boat I will happily use again! They're very friendly and do great work on an acceptable cost.

Everyone at the place was helpful.Quick analysis of problem, fair pricing...and luckily for me...it was a quick fix.

Terrible experience here and their equipment/vehicles leave much to be desired. My husband and I rented out an ATV from them to spend a day on the trails. The vehicle and tires were not in great condition to begin with and within about 15 minutes of driving it we got a flat tire. We called the Tempe Power Sports office to see what we could do and they told us they didn't have anyone they could send out and that we should drive it back, even though it had a flat tire. My husband asked if they we're sure they wanted us to do this considering the drive back would likely completely ruin the tire- they told us they understood and to drive it back anyway. We got back to the Tempe Sports office and the tire had been completely ruined. They ended up charging us for a full day of riding and the cost to replace the tire. We had terrible service and a terrible experience here- do not recommend this business at all.

I will continue to recommend Tempe PowerSports and Marine to anyone that wants and expects quality service, follow up, and above all, someone who really cares about his customers.
