2/9/2018Rite Rug sincerely regrets the installation issues with the kitchen vinyl flooring The flooring contract on his purchase is with Ryan Homes and Rite Rug This job was scheduled for replacement on 2/ However, due to the "Dangerous Winter Storm" on 2/ "more then
school districts and organizations delayed the start of their day or closed" We apologize, the majority of our installers were not able work, due to poor weather conditions We will reschedule the flooring replacement at a mutually agreed on date with the homeowner

Rite Rug contacted the homeowner and scheduled the replacement for Wednesday, 2/and Friday 2/ Our Field Representative will oversee this replacement We apologize for any inconveniences in this flooring installation

Rite Rug Company does not have any records of the customer returning "boxes of wood" from his flooring purchase in May 2014, as stated in this complaint. Our policy on returned merchandise is to issue a receipt to the customer and process the refund, at the time of the
return. The returned merchandise is then immediately added back into our inventory. We also do not have any records of this wood entered back into our inventory. Therefore, this claim is denied. If the customer can produce a copy of a receipt showing the wood was returned to our store we will reconsider this complaint

On 3/22/RiteRug issued the following statement to the Revdex.com: "Rite Rug issued/mailed this check on 3/8/to *** *** at *** *** *** * *** ** *** by US Post Office standard mail." However, I received both the original check that was referenced in the above statement, as well as the new check that was sent with a tracking number, on 3/and 3/24, respectively. As you can see from the ship date on the envelope, the original check that RiteRug stated was mailed on 3/was actually mailed on 3/The business lied to the Revdex.com and the attached image of the envelope is proof of thisYou can see the original check was mailed on 3/and the new check was issues on 3/I have attached images of both the original mailing envelope and the new check to this message to provide proof of RiteRug's attempt of defrauding and deceiving both myself and the Revdex.com

11/25/2015In response to *** ***'s response, which you forwarded to our office on 11/20. Rite Rug is scheduled to replace the kitchen backsplash on 12/2. The builder has painters scheduled for work and will contact us when ready to schedule the carpet replacement. The bathroom repairs will be scheduled as soon as the special order materials are received

Rite Rug sincerely regrets the situation with the spots in this carpet Since this is a manufacturing issue, the carpet manufacturer, *** *** requires an inspection by a *** approved inspection service We regret the inspection service has not been able to schedule an
after hours appointment, to date The inspector advised us, they are working with the customer to schedule a mutual date/time

Rite Rug continues to work with the customer to find a custom transition strip to meet their needs Multiple transition pieces have been sent to this job to fit the unusual transition area where the new flooring meets the existing flooring Another date this month is scheduled to
try to complete this area As a consumer goodwill gesture, *** ***, accepted our offer of compensation for the inconvenience

Three representatives from Rite Rug met with Mrs*** on 8/4/2016, to review the new issues in the flooring The customer marked areas in the flooring they were concerned with Rite Rug will order additional flooring for the repairs Any extra wood not needed for the repairs will be left for the customer Due to the missed scheduled appointments by the customer Rite Rug is asking for trip charges on June & June

to clarifyRite rug had guided the installer to put in the piece of 18" carpet and I would not let them do thatI call the salesman and he would not call be backI called their office and got the run around againThey said they had no more carpet and would take another week to get itThen when it came in they would get me on the schedule againAs I was on ongoing install and not completeI expected them to expedite and move their scheduled calls out as they did mineInstead they just did not call me back and did not send a driver to columbus to get productI suspect that they just waited to their weekly truck shipmentThey told me also not product was in columbus but I saw the pick ticket for product on the delivered carpet clearly indicating columbus

there was no communication, no confirmation or cancelation phone callIf I would not have called on the 7th when no one came to my house no one would have even of known the job wasn’t being done, just like the three times before when the company didn’t show up or have the correct materialsI would appreciate something more out of this huge inconvenience rather than just asking me to rescheduleThis has set back me and my husband on work and I do not appreciate the unprofessionalism this company shows We got inches of snow, it was not a massive snow storm for Western Pathat does not excuse the fact that this was the 4th time and no one called to tell us what’s going on

I am rejecting this response because:I agree that the carpet was stretched when it was loosened during the warranty period After this work I provided them a feed back that the stretching is not correct and it is going to loose again But they did not respond on my feed back Within months from the stretching work, the carpet started loosening the same place where they did Now, after months over, the stretching is worsened now My concern is that the carpet loosened the same stretched place within months Steve, service manager called me to discuss the issue He was under the impression, they stretched the carpet two times and I am requesting again for one more stretching I clarified the issue with him and he assured me that he would help me to resolve the issue This discussion was happened in last week Now I am waiting for his response

All he does is insist we pay for the defective flooring and installation service that violated the manufacturers warrantyHe will not address my concerns or address the issue of how the flooring will be replacedTo top it off they switched carpet on us and installed a low quality carpet in lieu of what we contracted forThis company is all about collecting money and not about delivering the merchandise and service contracted for

Rite Rug contacted a certified, independent inspection service to evaluate the issue of the visible carpet seam Our Customer Service Manager, contacted the customer on 7/and advised of this procedure Results of this inspection, will be shared with the customer along with your office
as soon as they are avaliable

Rite Rug's Customer Service Manager contacted the customer regarding the issues stated in this complaint Our Service Department scheduled an appointment for August to address these issuesIn the matter of the "brackets with screws" attached to the bannister/hand rail When the
installers removed the old carpeting they found L brackets that were attached to the bottom of the bannister and the floor to add support and give the bannister more strength Rite Rug will remove and replace the floor plank that the L brackets are attached to However, we cannot accept any responsibility on the request from the customer to remove and not reinstall the L brackets As this will effect the the structural integrity of the bannister

This location ~Jennifer ~ told me if this blind can't be repaired they buy from same supplier as *** *** *** and they would replace my blindWell, she lied ! The blind serviceman came out and he also agreed it could not be repaired as it was! And would not look right like the other twoI then refused cause Why should I have to have mix matched blinds when if I never used Rite Rug my blinds in Our home would still have been Perfect? So ~Jennifer ~ denied that Rite Rug would pay me $after we sent $on carpet ! Crazy and greedy they are!! So I went into the store I bought from and the Manager & Clerk thought this was Crazy too and THEY gave me the refund Which don't cover the full price but whatever The Corporate Office refused to help me after weeks of dragging me onI want to file a Poor Service Complaint ! I will never use them agin!! Nor my friends or familyAs for the Store Manager & Micheal D*** ~ excellent customer service

Rite Rug Company sincerely apologizes for the issues on this flooring installation Our Customer Service Department contacted the customer We are replacing the flooring and authorizing compensation for inconveniences

Rite Rug regrets this product did not have a rebate from the manufacturer in November,

Rite Rug's contract on this flooring was with the builder, *** ***. We will contact the homeowner, Mr*** to work on resolving the flooring issues
