We have spoken with you on the phone and emailed with you to explain the situationYou were originally quoted $for two textbooks - ISBN *** and ISBN ***We received two textbooks - ISBN *** and ISBN *** which is the loose leaf version of
ISBN ***Our system updates the total quote value based on the original quote plus any additional books we receiveAs a result you received an email stating that the total possible value of the books you were supposed to send plus the books you did send was $We then grade and assess the books and pay out the final value
As we informed you ISBN *** was missing its cover pages which, unfortunately, drops it's value to $We didn't receive ISBN *** which, of course, drops it's value to $Instead we received ISBN *** which was worth $as it is a loose leaf edition which was the amount we have now paid you via check.
We are returning ISBN *** to you today at our expense

We regret that the complainant rejected our
response. As we stated in our initial reply, the shipping charge
that we requested was not simply for the return shipping chargesThe requested
charge was a sum that was 1) an attempt to recover some of our initial FedEx
shipping charges for the incoming parcels, 2) staff time for handling and processing
the expired quotes, and 3) the shipping charges associated with returning the
booksThe complainant also fails to account for the fact that two expired-quote
orders were returned, not one, so what he has characterized as exorbitant charges
were an attempt to defray expenses for two incoming FedEx charges, for the processing
of two orders, and for return shipping on two ordersThis unfortunate sequence
of events was created by the complainant shipping books well after his price
guarantees had expired, and then contesting our policies and charges to offer a
courtesy return of his booksThe books were returned to the seller to the
address in his account, as no other return address was providedWe would have
been happy to ship to another address had the complainant provided one in a
timely manner

Unfortunately with this title the publisher sells these books with Exposed Access Codes, we are unable to verify that code and this item does call for a Web Study guide for purchase, as stated in terms and condtionsIt appears that your book is being returned to you

It appears that the items that are in question in all orders were the same ISBN ***- This item must be submitted with the supplemental access code to receive the quoted price In each case, you sent part of the order with the codes, and the rest without which have no
resell value to us The copies that we did receive without the access code have been returned to you as requested One of your shipments stated that you would be sending copies of the item with the access codes, when this package was delivered only were received, of those not having the supplemental materials needed to meet buyback standards Thank you Customer Service

Good Morniapologize that you are unsatisfied with our service As with every buyback we receive we are only able to pay for items in Good condition with no damage including water We in no way rebind any book in our facility and do not work with companies who do We take
books in such condition to our local recycle center, because they are not something we wish to resell to our customersThe books you received back as a customer courtesy ( Terms and Conditions state that we are not required to return any item that is damaged) are the books we received in the condition we received them Given the amount of buybacks we receive, we do not submit pictures of items that are damaged, which is the main reason we allow our customers to have their books returned Thank you, Textbookrecyclingcom

Apologies for the delay As stated in previous communication, one title in your buyback could not be confirmed and has been rejected The rest of your items have been paid in full as of March 23rd

They are blaming a postal service instead of themselves, they are still not hearing meI did not send a different book to them, I sent the book I was quoted for, I have no need to go around in circles with this companyHow do I make sure that others are warned about this fraud company[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received, your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

We quoted the seller a total of $for two books - ISBN and We received ISBN and ISBN is worth substantially less than ISBN We paid the seller the current value of ISBN As per our terms and
conditions it is the seller's responsibility to ensure that the ISBN of the textbook they send matches the ISBN quotedWe don't bait and switchWe pay for the books we receive based on the value of those booksWe can't pay for an ISBN we did not receive

Order # *** was received at our warehouse on January 24th with no damage to the package Upon processing this order all books had damage and because of the damage, have no value in our system items were workbooks (Terms and Conditions of our website state that all workbooks must
be free of writing) - All books had writing The other item received had significant water damage (Terms and Conditions on our website state that no item containing water damage will be accepted by our company.) As a courtesy we hold all damaged books for hours in case the customer would like to pay to have them shipped back Unfortunately, we pay for shipping in good faith that our customers will send us items in good condition; on items that are damaged we can not recover any of those funds so we do ask that the customer pay for the return shipping

If you had sent back the actual book I sent to you then we wouldn't have any issues, I will gladly send back the old book you sent to me as it is not the book I sent to youThe book I sent to you had been opened maybe timesSo therefore it was still stiff to open and nothing was wrong with any pagesAnd again the denial of payment was because of missing pages but yet the junk book you sent back to me wasn't even missing pages, so how can you deny for a reason and then send some random book back that doesn't have that problem you denied payment for? Fraudulent company

I am rejecting this response because: The book was not damaged when it was sent and the fact that they agree that it was not damaged in transit further concerns me because I know for a fact that book was in perfect condition when I brought it to the facility to be shippedIt is an outright lie that the book had water damage and if there are other complaints similar to my own this company should be investigated for fraud.

Dear ***,After countless buyback transactions and numerous customer service exchanged over an extended period of time , our terms and conditions are very clear I will happily give you the information for these buybacks yet again, but please note, typically we only submit buyback

My response in regards to the explanation from Textbook RecyclingYes, I did have communication with them via email and phone, they admitted that the quote was incorrectStill, my concern is the fact that I typed in the ISBN# for my book :Our Digital World-Introduction to Computing and their website instantly gave me the quote of $Again I will state that is fine if they do not wish to buy the book back for that amount, but I will not sale the book to them for $From my perspective, the issue is not straightforward I believe without a shadow of a doubt this company wanted me to just agree to the lesser amount and not question itWell this is not the case what they are trying to get away with is not fair and should not be legalI received the check over the weekend it is still in the envelope in which they mailed it I have no intention of cashing it and I will mail it back to themI appreciate that a company such as this would require Buyback Terms and Conditions however they should also have the ethical conscience to do what is rightKnowing that I did not input the incorrect of ISBN# of which they are trying to indicate that I didThey are correct in saying that I did reject the offer that I should have to pay the Shipping and handling to have my book returned to me and that I did also advise them that I was left no choice and that I would be contacting the Revdex.comAgain I stand by my initial complaint if they resale a book in which I have not agreed to the buyback price nor have I accepted it they are reselling stolen property

Both books were received with water damageAs per our terms and conditions, which the sender accepted, we can't pay for books with any moisture damageBooks that we receive with water damage are placed on a hour courtesy hold and the sender is given the option to have those books returned for a nominal shipping and handling chargeIn this case we have sent the books back to the sender at our costThe books were sent yesterday and the sender has been provided with the necessary information via seperate email
