I purchased food totaling $33.99 on 01/27/2019. After I placed my order I attempted to call the establishment to make a modification to my order but there phone number didn't work at all. Once I arrived I asked about the modification and I was advised they couldn't do it. That didn't bother me, but what did bother me was the fact that they failed to inform me they were out of some of the ingredients that make up my meal. They didn't have the sides I ordered and I was missing a side all together. The night manager never advised me of any of this he just handed me the bag of food. As I learned about all of the issues I decided I no longer wanted the order because it was no longer what I actually ordered. He then told me he could not process a refund. There was no way to refund my money except for online. There is no way to refund an order already paid online that I can find. I asked the manager for the steps that night and he advised me he wasn't sure. I live in KS but I was traveling to Denver for business. I don't have a reward account with this establishment because there are no locations in my immediate area. I checked out as a guest and all I have is an email conformation showing I paid with my check number, but no where on that email or on their website can I find a place to request a refund. There is also no corporate phone number to call and complain. I attempted to file a complaint on line for 3 days and I am still getting an error when I submit on their website.

I was celebrating my daughter-in-law's return from deployment on Sunday, December 16, with other family and friends. My bill totaled $48.12. I used my credit card and put $0 on the tip line because I included a $10 bill with the signed receipt (suggested 20% gratuity was $8.23). On December 19 I noticed that my card had been charged $61.12. I called the restaurant on that date and spoke to the manager who asked for my credit card information and said she would "fully refund" my account. I checked my account again on December 31 and noted that the money had not been refunded. I spoke again to the same manager who said she contacted HR the same day we spoke (December 19) and thought the issue had been resolved. She again asked for my credit card information which I gave to her. On January 9, I emailed this complaint to TGIF and received a response that someone would contact me via phone within 1-2 days. I have not received any other acknowledgement from this company.

Desired Outcome

Refund I acknowledge that I owed the company for the meal that I consumed; however, in light of their seeming acceptance that one of their employees willingly stole from one of their customers, I want a refund the $61.12 charged to my card plus the $10 tip for a total of $71.12. They totally ruined a celebratory moment for me and my family and I am beyond disappointed with their response (or lack thereof).

We went to have dinner on Jan 9 for my son Birthday. Ordered a drink there was a bug in the drink informed the waitress which she said wow that's very nasty. She bought a second drink still another bug in the drink. At this time the GM and bartender act as though we putting flies in the drink. We all go up to the bar and the GM and bartender fix the drink hand me the drink and state here's your drink OMG without the bug. There's another bug in the drink. This establishment need to be cautious of having a clean establishments. Then they get rude with us and ruin our son Birthday. Some thing need to be done paying customers don't deserve this treatment

Manager inappropriate conduct

Hello my name is *** and I place an order for Jack Daniels Sampler on Wednesday Jan 9 2019 and my food was cold. When I call Fridays on Stone creek in *** I express my problem to the manager and I ask for a refund for the problem, so told me that Friday does not do refund for incorrect food or food not been prepared correctly. When I call the next I spoke with the GM Mike and her told me that he would give me a credit for the problem, I accept the offer so when I came in on Saturday to pick up the food after the order was place, the two manager that were working that evening Anna and the kitchen manager, they give such a hard time for no reason I informed them what me and Mike discuss and they stated that they spoke with Mike and he was not going to honor are agreement. On Sunday I reach to Mike about the issues, Mike became very aggressive toward for no reason and started using racial slur toward me, and became very upset about the situation.

I went to TGIF on 8/17/18, while ordering my food I informed the waiter of my shellfish allergies. Once my food was served ,I ate some of it and began to immediately get sick. I rushed to the bathroom feeling nauseous and returned to the table and let my friend know I need to go to urgent care, because something in the food had made me sick and my throat was getting tight. The manager came over and my friend explained what was happening, I went to urgent care and immediately was given a shot to relieve the symptoms I was having and given medication to take for the next five days. Once I left urgent care ,we returned to TGIF and spoke to the manager on duty and informed him of my medical assistance. I called TGIF number I found online for help with this issue and was given a claim number, I received an email from the case manger inquiring about my case and asked if I had spent any money for medications or received a bill. I've been getting no help from the case manager or her supervisor since this happened.

I ordered a salad and a alcoholic beverage. The salad had a large bug in it and the cup had black tar in it. It was not clean.

hello how are you. I was writing because me and my friends had a get together there for a friends birthday and I went up there to ask her for 8 shots of 1800. she asked me if I wanted them chilled or straight. I told her to make them straight because I did not know what everyone liked and I like mine straight so I told her to make them all straight. She did not even tell me how much they were and as soon as I asked how much she hurried up and swiped my card and then told me almost 66 dollars for them. If she would have told me that I would have waited and went and got 3 bottles for that price but she already swiped my card. when we got them and took them they were watered down and didn't taste like anything besides water. I asked for the manager and he then tells me that she said I told her to chill them when I know I did not tell her that when I don't like mine chilled. I know what I said to her and I want my money back. The manager did not say anything else and walked off. I am very unhappy with this place and I just want my money back for something that I did not ask for. She should have told me how much they were before she swiped my card but she was just trying to hurry up and swipe it. I also don't like how the manager did not even care what I had to say it was all about well she said you said that you wanted them chilled and I did not tell her that. so please help me get my money back for something that I did not want and then getting treated like that was not right. I was at this restaurant Wednesday 10/10/18. First I was served frozen mozzarella sticks...literally. They were completely frozen and I brought it to the server (BriDarin) attention. He had the manger make some more and this time they were cold so I did not want to complain again so my daughter and I just decided not to eat them. Furthermore, I ordered the 2 for $20 meal and I did not purchase any drinks we had water. So the server brings the bill and the bills was $28.15. I asked him why was the bill so much more than the calculated price including taxes of $21.65. The server BriDarin became very argumentative and told me that I was charged properly. I paid the bill of $28.15 although I knew it wasn't right. After he brought the receipt for me to sign I examined the bill and discovered that I was charged for the 2 for $20 and two additional desserts that I did not have. I went to the manger (Ashlee B) and told her what happened. She insisted that she fixed the bill but she didn't. I was charged $28.15 and I've yet to receive a refund of $6.50 that she promised I would receive within 3-5 business days. Although it's just $6.50 it's mine and I want it back.

Terrible food and terrible customer service at TGIF Valley View Mall, Roanoke Virginia on 10/14/18 around 5 pm. Kept my unused coupon as well.
We visited TGIF on 10/14 at approximately 5 or 5:30 pm, Valley View Blvd location in Roanoke, Virginia. The restaurant was not busy, I noticed only about 4 other tables of people. We ordered with a very good coupon that I had and I was to have a $11 chicken sandwich. My friend a burger and fries. Very nice male waiter. However, after a long wait he disappeared and a very rude female brought our food (Started with a B I believe, Brittany maybe, longer dark hair) She dropped the food and ran, no explanation of why it took so long. My chicken sandwich has two green peppers on it and the chicken was a tiny, flat round piece of chicken slightly larger than a chicken nugget. But very flat. My friend had about ten fries and mine were piled high, lol. Obviously a problem in the kitchen. I asked "B" if this was the $11 chicken sandwich I ordered. She leaned over and said, "Why?" Extremely rude, arrogant attitude. I said because it is... and then I stopped because of her attitude and asked for the Manager. The very mousy, meek Manager walked over. However, she was stopped by other complaining patrons sitting behind us. She brushed them off out of embarrassment and the customer rolled her eyes at the manager and walked off. I then proceeded to tell the manager about my sandwich. She said, "That's our chicken sandwich, yes." Smugly. I picked up the chicken nugget and held it a foot from her face and said, "This is a nugget, not a chicken sandwich. And there are no red peppers on this sandwich that also has a tiny piece of bread." She minimized and said, "Well, that is our sandwich." She was very quiet and mousy, meely mouthed and just continued to brush me off. I said, "We are leaving, this is ridiculous. I have wasted an hour here and for nothing." She did not say anything other than, Well, I tried to understand you. No, she did not. She is a very inept Manager and needs training and counseling in order to be an effective leader. Her attitude is clearly rubbing off on her other employees. The male waited that we had at the start had a great attitude and should be a Manager more than the poor choice you all have made at this failing restaurant. They kept my coupon which was good up to any the highest value on the menu.

You all can handle the customer service training however you like. However, I will add that this restaurant looks to be going out of business and with this Manager, no surprise. They took my very good coupon and never brought it back to me upon leaving. It was worth at least up to $25 from a buy one get one free offer. I would like that coupon returned or similar credit.

Order should have had 12 pieces of chicken in each of 4 trays according to the picture/image on menu when order was done, but there was only 8 pieces in each tray of an order of 4 trays!!!

While dining in west orange TGI Fridays location my car was involved in a hit and run. On September 19, 2018 between the hours of 3-4pm my car was hit directly in front of the West Orange, NJ TGI Fridays location. After requesting to speak to a manager and waiting about twenty minutes, the manager was very disinterested in the issue. I requested that she searched the tapes. The manager Beatrice David went to the back after a few minutes returned stating that the cameras were down but did not believe it would have caught anything even if it was up. The manager continued to focus on that she did not believe that it would have caught anything only to later find out she did not review the tapes. The police were called and a complaint was filed.

Review the tapes to discover who was the person who hit the car.

I had a large order specifically because of understanding that it's going to be 12 piece item, that's why I oordered this item in quantity of 4 because I had guests coming over and I counted that I will have 48 pieces all together!! So instead of 6piece it became 3piece for a guest!!! It's not right!!

Because of this miasadvertising company shortened me 16 pieces!!!!! I would never order this item, I would use my $50 towards total different menu items.

I feel company cheated me - a customer and it has been cheating other customers by putting such INACCURATE IMAGE because customers order what they see and it looks good, appealing and appropriate because of a quantity(!!!) that is very important when you order for a party of guests to your house!!!

It's UNACCEPTABLE AND VERY-VERY WRONG!!!!

I dined at TGI Fridays on Thursday 8/30/2018. I left an $18.00 tip on a bill of $123.15. I was charged $33.00. I did not leave that much in a tip and I will be contacting my credit card company.

This was not in Texas it was in NJ on route 202/206. I resolved the issue myself.

We received a gift card for TGI Fridays from my husbands parents. We don't have a location in our city so we went to a nearby city to use our gift card. We went, ordered food and drinks enough to use the whole gift card. When we went to pay, we were told it had a zero balance. The manager looked into it for us and said the card had been used a few months prior in Missouri. We live in Minnesota and have never been to Missouri. The manager said we needed to pay for our meal, offered no discounts or anything, but did give us the number to call and said they would issue us a digital replacement. I called the next day and they began by asking for all my personal information. Please give and spell first and last name, phone number and email address. Why do I need to give you my personal information before you even ask me why I'm calling. They would not proceed without my info. I gave it and explained about our gift card. They said they needed to see the receipt from our gift card and I explained that we don't have one because it was a gift. They said then email them a picture of the gift card, front and back and they would look into it. I did, immediately following the call. I never heard back from them. I called to follow up and they started all over from the beginning. Finally they told me they never received my email and wouldn't do anything. I said I sent it, called 3 times now and they refused to do anything. We are out a gift card and my husbands parents are $25, money that the company got. They didn't care that it had been used by a hacker, they only cared that they got their money. Managers don't care that your gift card was stolen, corporate doesn't care and won't bother to replace it. Horrible customer service and lack of empathy on the company's behalf. They clearly only care about money, whichever way they get it.

Out of all of the 15 years of my family going to this particular location. This is by far the worst experience we ever had. Our waitress was new and seemed very friendly. We ordered an appetizer of different wings. Came out undercooked. So we had to wait a little bit longer for a reorder. Ordered one Strawberry Henny. And it was good. But after we received our first order of water beverages, we had to wait for a very long time for a refill since our waitress was ignoring us. My wife was so upset, so I requested the manager. She was wearing clothing that wasn't appropriate for a restaurant manager representing your brand. But she was going to talk to her employee about that. Offered us two free vouchers for an appetizer or a dessert. Also deducting the appetizer off our bill and a Free Strawberry Henny refill. Well our waitress didn't do anything. I never received my second Strawberry Henny. To add insult to injury. I was charged for my undercooked appetizer and 2 Strawberry Hennys instead of one. Will be thinking twice on going back to that location. So Angry and Upset

I visited the location shortly after 8:20pm along with 4 other adults and an infant. In a pathetic attempt to gain a heftier tip we were charged for a party of 6 when the infant clearly sat at the table and was being nursed by his mother. We were grossly overcharged in tips for a POOR experience to say the least. Maybe Friday's take their customers to be dumb bc the cost of my bill before tax was $36.26/$39.61 after tax. I was charged $8.20 (which is a 22.5% tip) on my meal & a suggested $8.61 on top of that. Really? This company seriously thought I was about to give a half way decent, definitely not great, server a $16.81 tip on a $36 meal? The ironic part is that the suggested 18% of $8.61 included the previous amt of the srvc charge as well as the tax of the food. We were seated immediately after arriving yet we did not receive our food until AFTER 10pm. Our order was not immediately taken and was not put into the system until 9pm. My food was not hot, it was room temperature and taste old. The manager Terry was not concerned at all about our complaints. The store was dirty & it appeared to be understaffed. Although it was not a busy night we did not receive proper attention at all. This was hands down the worse experience I EVER had at any Friday's and has caused me & my family to not want to return at all. The attempt to overcharge customers for tips is unacceptable. I am all for tipping a fair price when it is well deserved but in no way was a tip of this amount deserved at all during this visit. Chk #3217 Tbl 101/1

Refund Personally, I would like to have my tip returned to me and NOT in the form of a gift card for their business because I do not intend on returning to their establishment. I would like to have it returned either in the form of a check, gift card, on back on the card that I used to make my original purchase.

Online ordering sent order to wrong location twice
Restaurant has only issued refund for one order
On 06/08/2018 I attempted to place an order at the TGI Fridays location located in Madison TN.
When the order was submitted through the companies mobile application, the order was sent to the Opry Mills location. I immediately called the store to cancel the order and was told that I should contact customer service. I then proceeded to call customer service and was told that they would cancel the order and I would be receiving a refund.
I then attempted to place the order again thinking that the first time may have been a one time issue. The second order was also sent to the Opry Mills location. I then called customer service again and was once again informed that the order would be canceled and I would receive a refund.
The check numbers were 8352 and 8353
Both orders were for the exact same items and the total was $18.63 each and were both paid through a debit card run as credit.
I did eventually receive a check in the mail for
$18.63 which is covers one order's refund but I have not received one for the second order.
I have once again made attempts to contact their customer service but have not received any response

I would just like a refund for the second order and possible to have their company investigate why their mobile application is sending orders to the wrong location when one is clearly selected. A process for cancelling orders without having to go through all of these steps would be a good step as well.

Since I have to give a star, you only get one. This was by far the WORST experience I have ever had. When we walked in a sign stated they don't sit more than 9 in a party which is fine since there were only 2, but that's *** to start an entry into a family restaurant. While we were seated I noticed we were segregated in the restaurant by color. The front was all of African American decent and the white were sent to the back. I thought living in this generation we stopped that nonsense. It took 10mins to get menus for drinks. 25mins for our first appetizer. 25+mins for a 2nd appetizer. And it was my birthday so it took nearly 20mins for 2nscoops of icecream with sauce drizzled on top. The entire place smelled of sewage. The booths and floor looked like they had only been wiped down with water. The food gave me food poisoning. And the waitress was rude and disrespectful. She walked by our table 3 times and even picked up dirty plates but never once asked if we wanted the check. Even had the credit card out on the table to give a clue. We had to finally ask for the check!! The entire place was just sketchy which wasn't expected being in Oak Park. I hope this place is shut down for such *** poor service. Already contacted corporate and the health department.

I was in their establishment on 6/22/18 around 6-630PM. My 13 year old daughter left her purse on the table. Thirty minutes had passed before we realized it and we went right back. The table had been cleared and no sign of the purse. We attempted to ask the person who cleaned the table but the hostess apologized saying "no one can find her". I can't help but think she was too ashamed to look my 13 year old distraught girl in the face to say she didn't see the bag when she had stolen it.The bag had over $200 in it. My girl had been saving that up for god knows how long, and when she went to make her purchase the bag was gone. She is heartbroken and just totally devastated. My heart breaks for her, and I really hate to think someone would intentionally take it.

I want he or she to work with the general manager and review surveillance footage to determine if the bus person indeed stole the purse, and expect them to handle it internally.If/When they confirm this to be the case - I would like the store to refund my meal.
