Went over with me about what was being done, did a final walkthrough with to make sure I was happy with the work before signing off on the paperwork. Excellent experience!

One week after The Basement Doctor extended my basement system to cover another section of my basement that had been leaking during heavy rains, we had a heavy rain and there was no water leaking into the basement. As a current customer of The Basement Doctor, the installation was expedited so that this additional problem area could be corrected. The foreman and the crew assisted in moving heavy items and completed the job in one day. They covered up items that couldn't be moved out of the basement with plastic to prevent dust deposits. The foreman provided complete instructions on what to do the day of and following up from the installation to prevent dust deposits in the house and to ensure complete curing of the concrete in the basement. I would recommend them to others with water issues in their basements.

If you are going to invest the money in waterproofing your basement this is the company to use. Mike was very informative at the initial visit and explained everything he saw and options to resolve issues. He clearly explained how the process would work. James and his crew did an impressive job installing the system. They were efficient, professional and did great work. They made sure to answer any question and explained how to care for all elements of the system. Highly recommend.

I was impressed by the professionalism, good communication and friendliness of this company. They recognized that we had been taken advantage of by, the now defunct, Basement Guys. Since our "lifetime warranty" could not be used after the Basement Guys did inferior work (improperly installed carbon fiber strips), we contacted one of the former "guys" at the Basement Authority. After telling us over the phone that they would honor our warranty and correct the problem, we discovered this was not the case. They came and tried to sell us the same system (carbon fiber strips) that had failed with the Basement Guys. Needless to say, this has been a very trying time which has cost us thousands of dollars and a lot of labor and time, not to mention the emotional toll of being betrayed. It was reassuring to work with a company who had good skills, both in installation and communication. They recommended and skillfully installed steel beams. The crew that worked on our basement was wonderful. I highly recommend this business.
