Dear [redacted], The requested Buzzfile listing has been removed. If you click on the Buzzfile link appearing in Google search results, it will take you to a "404 error" page. The 404 error page means that listing has been taken down/removed. Please note we cannot pre[redacted]t Google search engine from showing broken links. You will need to submit a request to Google to remove the broken link from search results. We have removed this business from our listing at requested by the [redacted]. Please note this complaint as resolved

Note, the complaint says our organization was contacted. This did not happen. Upon receiving the documentation/request from D&B (see issue above), the listing has been removed. Spoke to [redacted] she knows this has been resolved. Note, she was very frustrated and was threatening legal action.

The user is WRONG: We do exercise due diligence: We license 100% of our information from Dun & Bradstreet, a multi-billion dollar information vendor that has been collecting company information since the 1800's. While no source has 100% accurate information they are an industry leader. Furthermore, unlike other sites, we do NOT allow any user generated content on our site. We also do NOT allow users to edit any of this data for fear that it may be vandalized. All of our data on all 18 million companies on our site comes from Dun & Bradstreet. Dun & Bradstreet gets this information from public sources (secretaries of state). Since most private companies are under no obligation to report revenue numbers, D&B will estimate/model revenue numbers for companies based on the number of employees they have and their line of business. This information on our site is clearly labeled as "ESTIMATED". As indicated above no information is 100% correct. Although we are under no obligation to remove such information, when a business owner contacts us and requests us to remove their information we do so immediately, no questions asked. As soon as [redacted] contacted us we removed her information from our site immediately and notified her of the ultimate source D&B and how to contact them so that she can also get it corrected or removed from them. The Contact Us link on our site goes to "[redacted]" We get numerous emails every day from such link. If [redacted] is not proficient in using websites and links that is her issue. We do have a phone number. All she has to do is pull up a report on Buzzfile and she will see that there is a phone number. No we do NOT widely publicize the number on our website. If you ever tried contacting some of the largest companies such as [redacted] you will find that they too don't widely publicize their phone numbers. So are those multi-billion dollar companies not valid companies? We were NOT negligent in any way and I can assure you we did not cost [redacted] $500,000. As indicated on our site and our terms of use the information is for information purposes only, and is not to be relied on for credit or business purposes. No legitimate business is going to use data from some random site to make a $500,000 business decision. [redacted] should look to deficiencies in her products and pricing as the reason for her supposed loss. I would like to make a counter complaint against [redacted] for making false allegations and frivolous complaints when we have done NOTHING wrong. Sincerely [redacted]President###-###-####

We checked and did not see any request from this individual.  We have called and sent an email offering to help and remove the listing. We need a bit more information to be able to locate and remove the right listing.   Email and phone calls were done 8/**/16.
