I have reviewed the rebuttal response from Mr***. There is not much more to state. We did the job to the best of our abilities. The picture of the measurement of the original step was accurate; however, he did not show a picture of the other side of the step which measured less than inches which would make the center of the step between to inches. Again, I strongly suggested to him that if we removed the end of the sidewalk, it would be difficult to match the color and texture to the rest of the sidewalk. Reason being; the saw cut at the end of the walk would not match the concrete necessary to re-pour was a minimal amount (too little to get a truck to deliver) and we would mix concrete from bags and the recipe for the color was virtually impossible to match, as to the texture also.We did the best that we could do originally and it would have been fine if left that wayI took pictures of the final product after clear sealing as I do with most all of our jobs. (See attached)The bottom of our agreement which he signed, states the LIMITATIONS and occurrences which can be beyond our control. (See attached)I did not follow up after making changes because as stated earlier, we did the work to the best of our abilities, and I just did not want to have to deal with him.Under no circumstances would I attempt to modify a stamp job once completedEven if was for myself because of the above reasons. Great prices and great service

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Well, it seems like MrHuffman's customers are always wrong...first off I did ask him if he would accept equal payments, but it was not a redoI had had alot of outlay in the past couple months and being retired and on a fixed income it would be better for me...he agreed to accept those terms..As to the type of stamping, color, etche agreed to that also and said he had a great guy that could handle itI did want two steps and requested them. In response to the payments, I only told him I should hold back the last payment until he got the steps fixed, I did not do this since I had given him my word to pay it in full in days, which I did after he promised to get back and fix the step issue. I also told him under some misgivings that I would assist him with the expense in the amount of $200.00, however he never sent me a final invoice or stopped by for the money. This I am sure is due to the terrible smeared/troweled on color job of the new steps...I hoped he would come back by to see the steps which had blistered in many areas with this poor color jobI know now that he was ashamed to do so...it is bad and my neighbors really gave me a hard time over the final product...but the real issue here is that no proper foundation was dug out and the proper stone base put down...so now I am stuck with two large cracks entirely across the sidewalk....anyone knows that a properly done sidewalk is not going to break up in one yearIn retrospect, I am sorry it turned out this way for both of usBad business for him, bad deal for me in the long run.....actually, I like the man
