They have not sent me the box that I already paid forI have tried communication with them, and its impossible
This is a subscription boxI paid for a three month subscription and I have not received anything yetI emailed them and have not heard back

I signed up last year and really enjoyed the productI have been patient with the owners' issues, but after seeing despicable responses from this company (in emails and messages to customers), and not receiving responses to my emails, I became frustratedI paid for the June, July, August boxes and the special edition King box (over $200), and as of August 11, had not received any of those items
The situation began when the company got behind on sending June's boxSome people recieved it in late July, but many, myself included, didn't even have verifiable tracking numbersThe July box has still not been sent out (as of 8/12) and many still don't have June's box
After multiple attempts to communicate with the company via email, Facebook, and Instagram, I cancelled my subscription and filed a dispute with my bank
Although we were initially told no refunds would be issued, various individuals began receiving them while some people received no response in communication attemptsThe term "partial refund" began to be thrown around
On 8/12/I received a response after days of my inital email asking for a refund (and after filing the dispute)My refunds for all products are pending for which I am gratefulThe owner told me that in light of being a good customer, he would give me the refund as well as send all the boxes as long as the offer stayed between us
This comment was made in relation to the various groups started on social media trying to figure out what was going onFrequently the company was portrayed in a negative light and he did not want me to relay the special "invitation" to those communitiesI commented in those groups that I felt it was time to contact the Revdex.com and Attorney General and the next day I magically recieved the response from the owner with his offer
I do not appreciate being bullied (comments NRB made about charging fees if we instigated disputes)I also really love how diligently they have worked to delete negative comments or reviews on their various platforms There have been excuses week after week with no definitive corrective action in placeI understand being sympathetic to the problems the company has encountered, but at the end of the day, this is a service, I am a consumer, and it's my money
The issues I have outlined are only part of a larger situation
This company at best is highly unprofessional, rude, and deliberately misleadingWhile I am pleased that my refund is pending, I am disgusted by the entire situation

Ordered months of boxes, never received oneThey took too long to admit that they are never coming; I cannot dispute with my bank
Back on June 4, I paid $for a month subscription to Nocturnal Reader's BoxI started getting newsletter emails about how they were behind because of a personal issue (a PTSD episode & hospitalization) but they were confident that they could catch upThis I still believeHowever, each email sent out after that had some new issue, such as shipping problems and packing problemsThe language got more hostile as time went on, but I chalked it realistically up to the owner being frustrated at people who were, understandably, upset about not receiving their boxesThree and a half months (this week), after the date I should have received my last box, I got this email:
"Last update for a while (IMPORTANT)
OkSo I was able to get some money for stuff, and I am still working on litigation with that crappy company
More importantly, is the

Do not give this company a penny of your hard earned money because it will be a donation if you doYou will never see your product delivered! The owner is very rude to customers when they ask questions and they have stopped responding to emails and refund requests

I cancelled my subscription November After the company crashed and they didn't have money, they went back and charged my card this month (September 2018)This has happened to several peopleHe opened a new company under his parents' name called Horror BeesI believe he charged everyone to help fund this new company or to pay off old debts as there are law suits against himHe has sent nasty emails telling people not to ask for refunds and to just contact the bank to file disputesThis is not the proper way to handle this

I subscribed to them on July 3rd and never got my boxI canceled before they could charge me againNow they are starting another company called Horror BeesI'm not falling for it

Money for the Nocturnal Readers Box, June subscription, was debited from my checking account on May 16, I have sent several emails requesting a tracking number for the shipment I have since then sent emails requesting a refund for the box that I have not received
No one from the company has responded to me even once
They also said on their Facebook site that customers will be charged for filing a dispute with their bank for the purchase
I just wanted what I paid for, but at this point, four months later, I want my money back I have told them this more than once I want a response from NRB You cannot treat customers with such disrespect and expect to keep them

No product sent, request for either product or refund have been ignored
Regarding order #***, the "July Box" (SKU: ***) placed on June 6, 2018: The box was never sentI contacted the owner via email several times, and have received no reply or refund whatsoever

This business is absolutely horribleThey are currently (as of August 2018) two months behind (not counting their additional collectors box) and their sporadic updates are not helpful in the leastHalf the time you need to sift through various social media comments (in which they are abrasive, rude, and embarrassingly defensive and unable to take any sort of responsibility) for any sort of tiny updateI understand falling behind due to unforeseen circumstances but the way that they have handled this is unprofessional at bestThey are not a trustworthy company (updates contain inconsistencies and they very selectively reply to inquiries/comments and seem to also refund selectively)Do not do business with them
