I can not say enough great things about the ProfessionalsI would give them more than stars if I couldI used them years ago to move from my story townhome in Palatine to my 6th floor condo (there was an elevator) in Logan Square and they did such an amazing job that my husband and I used them again to move from our condo to our house last weekendWe had accumulated a lot of stuff over the years and filled up their entire truck, but they managed to get it all to fit and all of our belongings were delivered in great shapeOur house is about years old, so Jorge and his team had the additional challenge of navigating large pieces of furniture up and around very narrow staircasesWe had some very large and heavy pieces and ended up with a couple of scratches on the hand rail in the stairwell but I was so impressed with the fact that they got our heavy and large dressers and cabinets up the stairs that I didn't even careAn easy fix if you ask meIf my husband and I tried doing this move ourselves (or with friends) our newly remodeled home would have been destroyedJorge and his team were magiciansThey were also super helpful, friendly, careful, honest and quickI highly recommend requesting them if possible
One other thing that helped with our move was renting the green boxesWhat a fantastic program! Super sturdy, no taping, no assembling, no trash, and no crushed boxesI did the math on the cost of boxes, tape, packing materials, and time, and the green box program turned out to be a wash, if not a better deal than buying your own boxesAlso, you don't have the guilt of cardboard waste and the chore of breaking down the boxesThe Professionals drop the boxes off and pick them up at your convenienceWe ended up renting boxes thinking that would be plenty for a bedroom condo, but we were sorely mistaken (we had the "luxury" of lots of storage space and utilized it all) so we did end up purchasing some cardboard boxes for the remaining items we had, but it all worked outSo if you decide to rent the green boxes, you're probably going to think "that's a lot", but I'm pretty confident you'll use all of them and may even find yourself in need of more, so don't freak out about thinking you may have rented too many

I have not received any compensation for the television being broken, I would tell anybody considering using "The Professionals" moving company to reconsider, they will break your property and will not reimburse youI have been waiting months to get reimbursedI filed the claim the next day after the move, when I realized the TV was brokenI think its only fair that the business reimburse me or repair the TV*** reassured me I would be reimbursed or the television would be repaired, it was a flat out lieHere are the emails I received from her;

I was never contacted by any TV repair company and *** stop answering my calls and emailsI had to hire an attorney just to get a response from "The Professionals." As of today 8/25/I still have a broken television sitting in my house and have not been reimbursed or compensated for any of the damages even though the contract states I should beI even paid an extra $TV packing fee and they still broke itDo not hire this company to move your property, they will break it and won't reimburse you

These movers are awesome! I was there when they were used by a friend and knew then that I would use them when I needed a mover. They are so efficient! They do not waste any of your time. Julio was our Forman and did a great job! We are building a house and will be using them again soon! Worth every penny! Thanks for making this process easy.

I have moved several times around the Chicago area and every time I choose The Professionals. They make every move incredibly easy and smooth, and my last move yesterday was no exception. The crew was on time, moved quickly and made sure everything was moved with no issues whatsoever. I would definitely recommend them!

These movers were the best! We have had really poor movers in the past and these guys were the most polite, efficient, good with their time, flexible (we had an elevator issue) and knew what they were doing. We have and will recommend them to anyone in Chicago!

The Professionals were extremely, well, professional. Showed up early, worked hard. No complaints at all and everything went extremely smoothly.

I used the company a year ago and had a positive experience that it was a no brainer when I moved a second time recently. Estimate was accurate and efficiently handled online. The crew was 15 minutes early, very nice guys who worked effectively as a team, finishing my move from an apartment and large full storage unit in 3 hours. My fragile items were handled with care and boxes got to the designated rooms. Thumbs up!

I was very nervous about my move. The Professionals quickly made me feel at ease. 4 guys in an 18 foot truck quickly and efficiently moved everything to my new home. They were polite and friendly, making sure that all items were placed exactly where I requested. They were very fast and my move was completed in less time than the estimate. Not one thing was damaged. I highly recommend this company.

I understand you are under difficult circumstances and we are very sorry to hear about your personal situation.  We moved you into the units as you hired us to do.  We always ask that either you or someone be present to give the movers...

any specific instructions.  Unfortunately neither you or the office manager of the facility were present to let the movers know that you wanted the items organized a specific way.  You clearly told me you were in the storage's office while the unloading was happening, had you been present at the unit itself we could have avoided all of this from the beginning. They would have stayed of course to rearrange the units on the move day itself but it was my understanding you refused the additional charges as it would take more time.Despite all of this we have been willing to work with you.  We have even offered to credit the travel charge on your move out which would save you over $225.00 off the move out of the facility.  Please let me know if you would like to accept the offer so I can reserve a crew for you.

This was our 4th time using The Professionals (hopefully the last now that we are settled) and this time around the crew could not been any better. They made 4 stops, city to suburbs, and kept the move time around 7 hours. They were extremely careful, fast, hard working and very pleasant. This time we had Julie and his crew that did an awesome job for us. I would recommend The Professionals to anyone moving in the Chicago land area.

Ordering the movers was simple and the business call backed several times as move date approached. The 4 man crew arrived early. They did the job efficiently and were much stronger than expected. The move was done earlier than estimated and they unpacked and placed items well. Nothing was damaged or soiled. 5 stars.

These guys were great. They were extremely careful with our furniture and fast as could be. Our original estimate was 4.5-5.5 hours and they finished in 3.25. You will never see them taking breaks or anything. Also were able to park on my one way street and still move with ease despite my alderman tow zone signs being ignored. If you want to save yourself a ton of work and stress use The Professionals.
