I was referred to this company by [redacted]. They came out within the same day. The Technician knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it! It was clear the Technician, [redacted] knew exactly what the problem was. There was no hesitation or beating around the bush. He was on it! Awesome company!!!!
[redacted] 6/2/2015
Received wonderful service. Requested service and repair person was here the very next day between the hrs that I was told. I even received a call when he was on his way. When I called I was given the price of the service call. Ice maker was broken and because they carry most of parts with them, it was replaced the same day.......
Thank you Tiger Mechanical!
They came out the day after I phoned and in two days I had a washing machine again! Polite and neat. I definitely recommend them.
Had a problem with our Thermador dishwasher. [redacted] came out and initially fixed the problem. Didn't realize at the time the hose was also leaking. However, Tiger stood by their work and replaced the hose also. Very courteous and professional in their work.
Tiger mechanical is a two man (father & son) operation. Nice in that you will always be dealing directly with the owners. Also, no worries that you may get an inexperienced "newby" technician as often happens with the big companies.
[redacted] & [redacted], **. are very knowledgeable, professional, straightforward and honest. They do not rush through the repair so they can get to the next job. Instead, they will make the repair then thoroughly inspect your appliance and make sure there are no other issues.
In the case of my GE Monogram refrigerator, they noticed the door was not fully sealing. [redacted] used a trick only experience could have taught him and the door now seals perfectly! By the way, a GE Factory tech had been out previously and shimmed the door about a year earlier saying the hinge needed replacement for $400 parts + labor. The shims fell out in less than a week. Can't say enough bad things about GE's service.
Go with Tiger. You will not be disappointed.
Tiger does quality work, with good customer service.
They will provide an upfront and honest overview of your situation.
We are very pleased with Tiger Mechanical once again! We have used them in the past, for rental properties, and trusted them with our personal appliance when we needed repair today. The response time was almost immediate, the customer service rep along with service tech were both extremely professional, the work needed was explained clearly, and they even helped us process the claim with our home warranty company. I will recommend them to our friends and family and continue to use them in the future.
I have a Viking three zone wine cooler which required service. In the past, service calls on the unit have been difficult, as the repair companies have a hard time getting Viking parts, and the technicians generally do not seem to know very much about the Viking line. The technician from Tiger Mechanical, Thomas, knew the unit in great detail. He did a great job, replacing the necessary parts quickly, and without any drama. the unit has run flawlessly since his service call. it was a very different, and much better experience than I had in the past with other companies, and Tiger Mechanical will get my future service calls.
Excellent customer service. Prompt friendly and reliable- would highly recommend!
I lost my refrigerator overnight Barb was able to get Tom out to my place first thing in the morning. GE best was 2 days away. Tom diagnosed the issue quickly and after a quick trip into town had the part replaced and saved all my froZen foods. Great attention to detail and even fixed a loose door while he was there. Service was great cost was great I highly recommend them.
My husband and I were very pleased with our service. Our fridge stopped working sometime in the night, we made a call in the morning and had someone to our home by the early afternoon. He walked us through the different issues that could be wrong, starting with the cheapest fix. He was able to take care of the problem immediately and was very honest through the whole process. He also cleaned up the floor and the fridge after he was done. Very nice man! Thanks again for your great service.
Review: I called Tiger Mechanical and spoke with [redacted] about an older gas range we own and that might have possible gas leaks and needed a new ignitor. I told her I already purchased the ignitor. She told me a service call was $89.95 which included the part it was for 1 hour of service. I clarified that rate with her because of the age of the range, I did not want to spend $89.95 for a repair person to just walk in the door and then charge me another $100.00 to fix the part. . The service guy was 1 hour late getting to my house. My wife was there and let him in. This was 9/25/15. My wife is 61 and has cancer. The repair guy was there for 45 minutes. He checked for gas leaks and found none. He then installed the new ignitor. Then he had my wife call me at work and ask me how much I was told the service call would be. I told her to tell him $89.95. He then called his office and told them he was at our house for 45 minutes - my wife heard him say that. next thing he does is hand my wife a bill for $175.00. My wife paid him the $175.00. When I found out about it, I called Tiger Mechanical the following Monday to speak with Barb who is the person who quoted me the price of $89.95. Every time I called her number, the call was canceled. I called her today (10/1/15) because she said she would call me and never did. I discussed the charges with her and she denied ever quoting me $89.95. I told her how long the repair guy was at our house and she said "no, he was there for 1.5 hrs". that is an outright lie. I repeated to her what she quoted me on the phone. I told her I was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. she then hung up on me. I feel they took advantage of my wife because of her age and her physical condition. I believe the repair guy thinks because my wife is old that she is stupid. This company is not honest. They offered to refund me $25.00. I told her that is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: Reduce the charge to $89.95.

The customer called me on 9/11 and explained that he had moved into this house temporarily because of a fire or something to that affect. He then went on to explain that the oven wasn't igniting and the he smelt gas so he called out the gas company to look at it and mentioned that the gas line was short so they shut the gas off. I advised him that I would need the gas on to properly diagnose the problem. I then went on to advise him that we have a minimum charge to go out and diagnose the problem, the technician would give him an estimate which included any parts needed and the labor. He then mentioned that he did go out and bought an igniter which may be the problem. I advised him that if we do not supply the part that we cannot warranty it and that he would just be charged the labor. I explained at that time that we would call when the technician was on the way, this allowing the customer not to be stuck at home waiting. I did call the customer to let him know that the technician was running behind due to a previous customer having a refrigeration problem. The customer stated in his complaint that I said the technician was there an 1.5 hrs which I did not say. I told him that the technician was there a little over an hour, actually from 5:04pm-6:19pm, as we have not only time stamps on their computers when they log in and out of a job but also they have gps software on their work vehicles so I also see the times that he is there. His technician not only installed the igniter but checked all connections and valves for leaks before leaving to double check to make sure that there was no gas leaks before leaving. I never told him he would be charged only $89.95 for the this job! And I think he is the one being disrespectful as far as him assuming that my repair guy, whom I have never had complaints on, would think that his wife is stupid or that he was taking advantage of her. I hung up on him after I offered to refund him $25.00 and he then started threatening me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and leave a bad review on yelp. I told him to go ahead and do what he needed to do and that I would respond appropriately. I am not going to wait on the phone while he calls me a liar and then threatens a bad review when I know that nothing was done wrong.I explain every time that a customer calls, including a past customers, about our charges and our warranty. I never deviate and I have had my techs install customer supplied parts and they know our policy. I still offer him the same refund of $25.00.[redacted]

Response:
The customer states that we are not being truthful which is not the case. We charge for my technician's time there which I explained that the $89.95 is for diagnostic only.if there is a repair whether we supply the part or the customer does there is additional monies for that time. He states that he only replaced the ignitor but he also tested for gas leaks because of that being one of the issues he mentioned when he called originally. I am being more than fair, especially considering that he is calling me a liar and also accused my company of taking advantage of his wife and discriminating against her. The best that I am able to do is refund him $50.00 which is more than half of what he is wanting back. Regards,[redacted]
After almost a year waiting for another authorized dealer of [redacted] to fix my oven/range under warranty, I put one call in to Tiger Mechanical and had the owner out the very next day. [redacted] was very knowledgeable about my range and within minutes was able to give an accurate diagnosis of the problem. While he was there, I had him check out my Bosch dishwasher since it has not been cleaning my dishes well since I moved in a year ago. Turns out it was never installed or programmed correctly. Within two weeks, I know have a fabulous working oven/range and dishwasher. I feel like I have brand new appliances. [redacted] is incredibly professional and thorough. He went above and beyond to ensure my appliances were operating as they should be. Office staff is very friendly and responsive as well. Thrilled with the service and highly recommend.
Brandon and Barb have the best customer service. Brandon was knowledgeable and did testing after testing to make sure I would not have to purchase more parts than necessary. He was also very clean, polite and professional. After diagnosing the problem we had to wait for parts to come from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, before the parts arrived the manufacturer informed me that I needed to go with a different company instead of Tiger Mechanical even though Tiger would apply what I had paid for the diagnosis towards the parts and repair. After another company came to do the repair Barb still called to check and see how things went. I would recommend Tiger Mechanical to everyone for their appliance repair. Not only did Brandon take care of us but Barb went out of her way to schedule but she made sure that the correct parts were on order and followed up to the very end!
This company rates an A+ from me as a customer. The work ethic was top notch from start to finish. I would use them again in a second and recommend them to friends, neighbors, and relatives without hesitation.
The person answering the telephone is the starting point, and she was fabulous...personality plus and full of answers to all quetions. She also knew the technician that was perfect for our problem, a mal-functioning older model built in double oven. The company was able to fix it and allow me, hopefully, years more service from it.
I would have had to re-do an entire kitchen from start to finish had they not been able to get it up to snuff again! They saved me a ton of aggravation, time, and a horrendously ridiculous amount of money in being able to repair it. Thank you, Tiger!
Tiger Mechanical was fantastic!! Barb was amazing and helped me get my home warranty authorized to fix damages that were caused by a different contractor. Very impressed and will call them again if any of my Viking appliances need repair. Thanks for all your hard work and knowledge of the appliances!!
I was very happy with the service and would have them again. I sent the wrong rate on first report should have been 10.
I had a hard to solve problem with my Thor washer/dryer. [redacted] spent many hours working to find and fix the problem. I am sure anyone else would have walked away, told me to junk it and buy a new lesser made machine. Thank goodness he was willing to work until he found the problem and solved it.
I had a very positive experience with Tiger Mechanical. My fridge went out, so I googled appliance repair and was lucky enough to find this company. Barbara was very helpful and friendly on the phone. She sent a technician, Tom, to my house the very same day. Tom was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue quickly. He explained everything to me and quoted a fair price for a replacement part. The fridge has worked great ever since.
Great service, quick repair, good price.
I really appreciate the responsiveness of Tiger Mechanical. They were really friendly and very helpful in making sure my home warranty plan would cover the required repairs and ensured they were authorized to complete the repairs. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants an honest, family owned company that will do the right thing.
