We contracted with All My Sons Moving in early May to move us from Alpharetta, GA to Morganton, GAAuburn visited our home, inspected it and provided a quote of $7,We chose them based on that priceAuburn went on to say that " it would likely be more like $7,000." He provided a lower labor rate to secure our business given we were seniors and I was a veteran
Our challenge was we needed to be out of the house by the next week so there was no cushion to change companies before or during the move
They arrived on Wednesday to start packing and left our new home at 9pm that Friday
We ended up paying nearly $3,or ~40% moreFelt like a bait and switch

I contacted All My Son's movers to schedule a move for Saturday, June 4th I was given an 8AM-12PM delivery windowI told All My Son's that my move had to occur on Saturday, June 4th 2016, and wanted an early delivery window in order to account for possible delays
On Friday, June 3rd 2016, the day before my move, *** called me to tell me that my move would take place on Saturday, June 4th 2016, but that the window of time had changed to 1PM-5PMI was told that I would be contacted an hour before the movers headed to my apartment
On the day of the move, Saturday June 4th 2016, I called All my Son's around 2PM to inquire as to the time that the movers planned on arriving at my apartment*** (the same person I spoke to the day before) answered the phoneHe told me that the moving team that was scheduled to come to my apartment was running late, and it was likely that they would not be at my apartment until 5PMHowever, at 5PM, I had yet to receive a call from the movi

I retained All My Sons to support my move on 6/(Account No :***) I was advised that the movers would show up the afternoon of Sunday, 6/19, which was both Father's day and my birthday When it got to be late afternoon I started to reach out to All My Sons to find out they were running behind and they apologized We agreed the move would occur on Monday, 6/20, which I took a day off of work with no pay I called on Monday, 6/20, around 11:AM as I had not heard from anyone When I finally got a call back once my contact got to the office to find out that he "forgot" to transfer the order when we talked on Sunday and now they had no availability to conduct the move on 6/20, after they already missed the original booked date and cost me a day of pay They apologized and recommended I consider finding another company, which I advised I could not do given the short notice They confirmed they would move me on Tuesday, 6/21, as the first move of the day I had a one bedroom

My parents used ALL MY SONS MOVING & STORAGE this week to moveThey were quoted $and they were charged over $and the movers didn't even finish the job! I received no estimate at allWhen I asked if it was possible that the move could go as late as midnight Scott replied, "Of course not." He then said that I should hear from them around p.m.Around pm I received a call from Scott informing me that he had a four-man team available that could come by right awayHowever, I would have to PAY MORE for itI was moving from a bedroom townhouse to a bedroom apartmentI did not need a 4-man crewI booked a 3-man crew because that's what I needed and could affordI told him that he certainly could send them over but at the same price that had been arranged originallyHe said that if I wanted the 4-man crew I would have to pay the Four Man Crew priceI told him that I was not comfortable with that and that I would wait for my man crew to be availableA little after p.mI received a call from another employee.He asked me, "How is tomorrow looking for you to move?" I was shockedI am a teacherIt is not a simple thing for me to take a day offI must arrange for a substitute in advanceI told the employee that I could not wait until the next day because that would require me taking it an additional day off from workI also informed him that my lease was up and I absolutely had to move.No responseI told him that I was getting the impression that the movers weren't comingStill no responseI asked him what time I could expect them and how late would the absolute latest appointment be and again, no responseAfter a moment he suggested that if I were able to arrange the move for the following day that's he would have just the cost to offset the inconvenienceHe told me that he would remove the travel time and the fee for packing materialsI told him I wasn't aware that I was being charged for packing material since I had all of my own boxes and tapeHe he mentions that if they have to shrink wrap that I would be charged for thatI have no idea what that would have cost me but that was my discountThe travel time and the shrink wrap and I was getting the very distinct impression that unless I agreed to move the next day I wasn't going to have any movers at all At this point it was after p.mand all other moving companies were closed by this timeI was absolutely trappedI told your employee that I felt like I was being held hostage as at this point I had no optionsHe said that he didn't want me to feel that way and I responded, "How else should I feel? What options do I have?" I asked him what time I could be GUARANTEED that the movers would show up the next dayHe told me that I would be the first customerI asked again, "If I'm the last customer what time should I expect them?" His response was that he did not want to give me a specific time because then I would have another reason to be upset with him if they did not show up by that timeI said, "If I do not agree to all of your company's terms I will have no mover for the next dayToday is the last day I was allowed to be in my previous addressI had to vacate the premisesI can't just stay there because your company didn't show up."

I paid this company that does business as All My Sons Moving to move my items from a storage unit to my home While at the storage unit, an employee attempted to move the glass shelving for my tv stand and shattered it I wrote on the copy of the paper work that my item was destroyed I also took pictures at the storage unit showing the item destroyed I was told by the driver Sean that someone would be contacting me No one did, so I reached out to the company on 09/11/ I was told that a package to file a claim would be emailed to me I never received it, so I called back again on 9/and was told again a package would be emailed to me Again, no email was received I called a third time on 9/and was told a package would be emailed to me To date, I have not received the emailed package and I have also not received a phone call and my destroyed item was never replaced My entire dealings with this company was horrible After telling me I would be charged for a min

I used this company for moving purposes I was quoted for men crew I only received men I was quoted for hours but they only worked hours I was still charged the full amount even after I was told I would be credited which I have in writing by *** the manager I was also charged double and they damaged roughly 2-3K in furniture the claims department has done nothing and after several attempts in writing and messages with no response I have taken this option for help
