Contacted TitleMax to remove my name from their mailing list and was given a customer service number 800-805- When I called this number I was asked about completing a survey post call however was immediately prompted with questions wanting age and then solicited to medic alert This included an enticement of a free cruise which by no surprise I won for only the cost of port fees I hung up as I know this is a scam Not happy about this experience I went back to where I chatted and got the number only to be told the number is actually 800-804- Oh just a simple mistake! Upon calling this number I talked with someone at Title Max who hopefully removed me from future mailings However when I inquired about the original number I was given she responded that "Yes, that is a customer service number" When I told her about the medic alert pitch she indicated the owner of Title Max was involved in another business It's sad that a company will push you to a scam whe

NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!! OR FRAUD!! I borrowed $1,July 2015, Have been making payments since then, I now owe them $1,176.00!! They are RUDE and will not allow you to pay your bill early, so that they can charge you DAILY interestI went to 1-800- New-Deal, and they contacted TitleMax, And they PROMISED to match New Deals rate, HOWEVER, When I got to the office, they were like "I'M SORRY, OUR MANAGER DIDN'T APPROVE THE REQUEST" Not to mention, they could not provide me with the "MANAGERS" name or phone #! I may just get a rental with my AAA membership and let them take the carAGAIN, I told them to come get the car, and they said "NO, You have to bring it to us." I'll be [redacted] if that happens

I paid off my loan with Title Max on 2-13-and was told the same day that my title would be mailed to me on 2-15-They verified they had my title and verified my addressI still have not received my title backI have left several messages with Title Max and they have failed to return my call or return my title I had to file a complain with the Texas Attorney General's office today to attempt to reach some sort of resolution to my title issue

Title Max is a scam I borrowed Payments of 350a month after payments nothing went down then I was told the was just interest so ten payment later I would have paid an still owe they should have laws against company's with this practice

Very pleasant and well informed agent at the Claycomo, Mooffice todayWe can get a title loan at many businesses, it's the service, professionalism and atmosphere of the office that determines where we take our businessLaSaundra (Store Manger) that got my business todayShe is an asset to this company

I called and let Titlemax (COVINGTON GA )know that my payment was going to be late, NOT A WEEK, NOT MONTHS, Just DAYS LATE, payment due on a Wednesday but got paid Friday in days,I called that Monday, The lady whom I will not post her name said "yes that's fine we will see u Friday for your payment, I said that's correct ", Well THAT THURSDAY MORNING I'm awakening by a loud nose in my driveway, REPO MAN came and picked up my car, so now I'm TAKING THEM and the REPO COMPANY TO COURT, both Violated my rights, both are in Violation of Ga state lawCODE SECTION :11-9-503, 11-9-504, 11-9-So yeah please never get a loan from themIf you all have to get a loan I would recommend you to sale what ever you can, work extra overtime, ask your employer for an advancementI WOULD HOOK BEFORE I EVER GET A LOAN FROM THEM, JUST SAYING! !

I previously had a loan with Titlemax in that I paid back in full with no problemI took a loan with them in to help me as I transitioned to a new jobDuring that time my *** passed away unexpectedly and the costs of her arrangements fell to meI explained this to Titlemax and did the best that I could to keep up with payments despite needing to pay other debts (hospital bills)My account was transferred to the *** officeI am in better position now and called today attempting to set up a monthly payment of $ The person on the phone was very rude and refused to set up payments saying that I had to pay $a month to set up a payment planI explained to her I did not have that or I would have been making payments in that amountShe refused to set up payments and said "call back when you have $a month"I have never dealt with a company that has refused to accept payments even if they were small

Title Max is a scam I borrowed Payments of 350a month after payments nothing went down then I was told the was just interest so ten payment later I would have paid an still owe they should have laws against company's with this practice

After talking with another title loan company today and hearing how they would hire me, I am writing a review of Titlemax to review yesterday's interview with themTitlemax calls it a job fairOne other person showed up with me who had misplaced her resume, and had no prior experienceTo make things fair I didn't tell them I had prior title loan experienceNot to make things fair to her but meaning every corporate place I've worked for will throw you into work while blaming you for things going wrong while you were given poor to no training, so I did not tell them of my prior direct experience because I'm looking to work somewhere that I can be properly trained to succeed without all the corporate and personal dramaInstead I told them of my lifetime of computer experienceWhile telling the management of my experience setting up a webserver, they told me the company had just paid $1million for server work to be done and I told him I did it for around $and I thought maybe this would show him I was a valid candidate for at least my tenacity of what I do on my own compared to the million dollar bill they just paid probably to some firmInstead all I got was an early morning rejection email after being asked to fill out my information online to be contacted later after this interview/job-fair meetingContacting back to them is just pressing a button it seems, which is a waste of time and money to the community if they are just going to play corporate like everyone elseTheir denial also depends who they hire because it makes their paychecks raise or lowerSo they are sort of obligated to discriminate based on whether they think you will make them (or someone else) money, and as well based on whether or not they think you'll succeed in their businessAfter reading all these reviews though I can imagine why I didn't get the job, because most places just want you to get the contract signed and that's all they care aboutThey don't really care if you'll succeed with ethic or moral, it's all based unfairly on someone else's bonus check, and usually even comes with a contract only briefly mentioning such in conversationBut to be fair, it could be a decent job I suppose if people were given the proper chance and training without such bias and prejudice used to hireEspecially since that is what has me looking for further employment in the first place

I got a loan with title max in Swainsboro in I made a payment every month and was never lateMy payment was always made over phone as instructed by titlemax which also charged me a fee to payEach month when I called in I told the titlemax employee I would like to make a payment and was asked if I would like to pay extra and I would reply that I only wanted to make my paymentAfter almost a year when I checked my balance I noticed that I still owed almost the original amount and when I questioned the title max employee I was told that I had been only renewing my loan every month for days After a year my car was repossessed on the day that the payment was dueI was totally misled over the phone about payments due

I'd rather give up a kidney than get another loan from these peopleYou start off at one payment a month and now every or months they tack on some new fee they found that they can get away with charging youInsta-loan and Title Max are nothing short of scam artistsOnce they got you their is nothing you can do about it if you don't have the money to pay off the loan right awaySave yourself a lot of money if you need a loan and go see ***

When I first came to Titlemax I was thrilled that I could use my auto title to obtain a small affordable short term loan that wouldn't put my lifstyle in jeopardy originally I boroowed a small amount for a vehicle repair and I paid it off no problem monthly payments too easy! Each time I went to make my payments Valerie would offer me more money which I declined because I didn't want to get in too deep on one occasion I did agree to a lrger amount with payments of I think No problem So around Christmas time Valerie informed me that I could now get a larger loan dollars and only monthly payments I could handle that and since it was Christmas time I took her up on the larger loan So I went to make my payment the other day and I asked her if this was payment or and she said the 2nd So I said okay so I only have more payments right? That's when the ceiling blew off I was told that after my 5th payment I would still have to pay or refin

I was very skeptical about getting a loan, but Samantha and Jasmine at the Lilburn, Ga location eased any doubts, I may have had Their customer service is great! Samantha is always pleasant, no matter how many times I called with questions The App to pay your loan is a great idea! A mistake that people may make, is borrowing more than they can pay back in days and that's where the negative reviews come in
