4yrs ago agent gave offer on home. said if I sign and change my mind that night he would tear up contact. I contact him and he refused to.
4 years ago I had tn homebuyers come out to give estimate. Tommy campbell came out and gave estimate. I was thinking it over when Tommy told me that if I signed, he would give me the night to think it over. Tommy told me that if I contact him he would tear the contract up. I signed that day. then, that night, at midnight, I txted him. I still have the message in my phone that also has the read received stamped on it for that day. also, that next morning I called Tommy's cell phone. He would never answer my calls so I called from a different number. Tommy answered and said that he was busy and would call me back so that we could discuss. I never heard back from him. A few days later the office secretary called me. I told her the whole situation with me and Tommy. she said that she would check into it and call me back. I never heard back so I Emailed Tommy (I still have the email). Tommy responded to that email saying that he told me that he didn't want to buy my house if I didn't want to sell but that he had spent money on a title search and turned in contract to title company. I never heard anything else from TN homebuyers. money never exchanged hands and I never heard from them.
here it is 4 years later and I have decided to list my house for sale only to find out that they still have a lien on my title. I called TN homebuyers to speak with Tommy and was told that he no longer works there. The office assistant did tell me that my file is in archive and that they will have to find it before they can talk to me.
I'm waiting...
I've asked them to remove the lien but they won't give me an answer or information.

This is ***, and I'm the Managing Partner at TN Homebuyers. *** hasn't been with us for quite some time now, and that's why you weren't able to reach him. I checked into this personally so I could provide the correct information for you. I apologize for any confusion, but there was never a lien placed on your property by us. We don't do anything like that. At the time you signed a contract with ***, that contract was recorded with the register's office which is standard, and it sounds like that's what you're talking about. We notified our title company to cancel the contract when you originally decided not to sell back at that time, but the title company apparently did not notify the register's office that it had been canceled. After you contacted the office, we took care of this, and we let the register know that contract was canceled when you requested it originally. I apologize again for the inconvenience, and I pray that blessings follow you to your new home. Have a wonderful day.

We're saddened that Mr. was unable to close as quickly as he had anticipated. Our focus is always on our "Hassle-Free Home Sale Guarantee", however it is necessary that title to a property be clear and insurable at the time of closing. Unfortunately, Mr. deed had been previously transferred through a tax sale and there were issues clouding the title and preventing a speedier closing.
Title issues can often be a hiccup for homeowners when selling, but we're dedicated to helping homeowners resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
We're grateful to Mr. for entrusting us with the sale of his home and we're happy to report that everyone closed on March 15, 2019.

this was by far the easiest process. I was able to get some cash before closing, the offer was very fair and we closed quickly. not having to do any work on the house such as repairs and having it spotless for showings was by far the best part. would highly recommend to anyone looking to sale their house quick and pain free.
They mailed a postcard to my father that passed away over 2 years ago. I called and Denise answered. I told her I received a card for my father that has been dead for over 2 years and if she wanted to buy something from him she would need to go to *** Cemetery. Please remove his name. Then she proceeded to ask did I still have the property? REALLY. I told her it was none of her business please remove his name. It was a slap in the face to get these cards when he has been gone over 2 years. Her response "It's just a solicitation".
WOW, heartless people in my book. I will tell you this, I wouldn't use them if they were the last company on this earth.

Tn homebuyers were very courteous and answered all questions regarding our sale. They allowed us time after our close to move since we were moving out of state. We were able to pick our own closing date which gave us more time to make arrangements. Lauren was very helpful. I only 4 stars because they kept sending their inspectors while we were still in the home. Once I spoke to Lauren about my frustration with inspectors showing up at the house unannounced, she corrected it. I would recommend this company to any one who is looking for a quick sale and does not have the time or resources for repairs.

Tennessee Homebuyers made selling my house an easy process. My house is needing some repairs. My husband and I decided to build a new house instead of repairing the one we have.
