Revdex.com:
Thank you Revdex.com! Without your help this would have never been resolved. While the SSFCU did finaly send the required paperwork to GAP, I'm afraid our personal credit reports are still effected by SSFCU and our credit score has dropped over 100 points due to this issues with the SSFCU and they are doing nothing to resolve that matter. The loan has been  paid by GAP so we can discontinue our relationship with SSFU.I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and I do not find this is a satisfactory resolution, but it is a resolution and this case can be closed with the Revdex.com Thank you for your help in this matter.

[redacted] San Antonio, Texas 78251   RE:   Revdex.com Complaint received on September 20, 2016   Dear Mr. [redacted],    Security Service Federal Credit Union received your Revdex.com Complaint September 20, 2016 regarding the 2007 BMW you purchased from...

the Security Service Repo Lot in 2014. We have completed an investigation of the situation and are happy to provide the following information. Security Service Federal Credit Union makes every effort to ensure that none of the vehicles sold through our Repo Lot have any title, odometer, or damage issues. Part of this process is to make available to interested parties, a CarFax Vehicle History Report, at no cost. This was done with this vehicle and there were no reported odometer issues. As part of our research, we pulled a current CarFax Vehicle History Report (Attached) and there are no reported issues with the odometer. Specifically, for the time period in question, here is what CarFax has reported: 3-11-2013 odometer reads 58,436 5-20-2013 odometer reads 60,34212-02-2013 odometer reads 62,987 CarFax shows normal progression of the odometer reading.  If the dealer you were trying to sell the vehicle to uses a different service, the error in odometer reporting is with that service, not with the vehicle. As a consumer, you have the right to contact that service and have their error corrected.   This would facilitate the fair market value sale of your vehicle.   As far as the loan on the vehicle, you do have a contractual obligation to make the agreed upon payments. Failure to do so, could result in collection activities and negative credit reporting.   Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address this matter. Please be assured that Security Service Federal Credit Union makes every attempt to resolve any issues our members may have. Please contact [redacted] at [redacted] if you have any further questions. Respectfully,   [redacted] Assistant Vice President Security Service Federal Credit Union

Mr. [redacted] has been contacted by a member of Security Service's Asset Recovery team and this situation is now closed.  Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.SSFCU Management

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
However, I need to point out that in...

talking with my daughter and son-in-law, I learned that the same business did the exact same thing to them a year ago, and that they made the extra payment demanded (so essentially overpaid their auto loan).  It concerns me deeply that while I was able to reach a satisfactory resolution of my complaint because I knew to complain, many other customers are still being subjected to deceptive and deceitful business practices.

Credit Union on Monday of this week. I cannot figure out how to close this complaint through your website. After a telephone conversation with two senior vice presidents at the Credit Union, this complain has been resolved to my satisfaction. They apologized for the events that took place over the weekend, and they agreed to issue a new debit card that will not be de-activated until its expiration date.  Please close complaint #[redacted], and thank you for your assistance. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Representative just harped on the fact that they could not reach us following the runaround they gave us.  Rep did not address the repeated incompetence and...

lack of followthrough of their representatives.  When I inquired how they tried to reach us, they stated our old address and telephone number.  The representative confirmed they did *not* send their notice by registed mail.  I also had updated our telephone and address the first time I called inquiring about an extension.  In order to process CC payment over phone my address with SSFCU must match my bank’s address info.  I updated SSFCU rep with current address so the payment they demanded would go through.  So SSFCU should have had our proper address on file.  Also my wife had called to establish me as primary point of contact and gave them my details, including my phone number.  The rep confirmed that they were attempting to reach us by my wife’s phone number and not mine as she instructed.  She was too sick from cancer to answer her phone from that time forward, so we never received calls. On our third attempt to get an extension, an employee did push the paper work through after we made a payment to catch up the account, but was denied without any notice.  A likely reason for denial was being repeatedly behind payments- which would have never happend if bank followed through on our earlier requests and let us catch our breath as they promised.

I am rejecting this response because:I spoke to Ms. [redacted] on 1/29/2016. Ms. [redacted] folowed up with an email stating "The application we received was electronic.  You can contact Eo Sparks at Charles Maund Toyota to get a copy of the application you submitted through them".SSFCU has been unable to provide me with documentation, verifying any documents SSFCU relied on when performing an assessing me credit file.
