It is the same response as the first timesThey have NO idea it will cost times as much as what I paid for the item to ship it back over seas, making it impractical and makes no sense The companies rely on this flaw in Tophatter company and Tophatter in my opinion knows this and does nothing to stop and or suspend these folks sending damaged itemsI would like A refund,bottom line

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because there were numerous erroneous charges on my credit card statement which have not been contested. None of the charges I've disputed were received by me. Perhaps I need to refer this matter to the San Francisco District Attorney's office to investigate whether that's a standard practice and other people have been cheated and didn't review their statements to see the erroneous charges

Please contact your local post office and ask them to update the tracking to show refused. This is very important because we cannot track the package and process a refund if tracking does not indicate refusal and return to sender
To ensure fair decisions are made in regards to missing items and refunds, we require both Buyers and Sellers to ship/return items with a valid tracking labelThis is detailed in our*** *** *** *** *** ***Unfortunately without a tracking number indicating return of this item to the seller, we have no way to prove to the seller the item was returned and we can not require them to issue a refund.In future, please remember to always provide a return tracking number, and watch the postal carrier scan the package in front of you to ensure Buyer Protection.

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: every time I get a package from someone the u.s postal services sends me a small card inside my mail box saying I have a package to be pick up if not they put my small packages inside my mail box I never had this trouble before getting a package I have not got nothing on February 10th from anybody this seems like some kind of scam going off I waited almost months on this package and I don't want my $dollar back that is no money to me when a package gets lost or not shipped like it says so on the email been sent to me that is big bucks to me either you all or the u.s postal service are going to make it with me or else whatever amount I want in return of my missing package money is the only way to solve this matter and I want $dollars for my trouble I understand my laser pointer was worth that much I only won the bid for $dollar I had a $dollar credit with you all I want my money either by paypal email *** or you can send me a check ** *** *** *** *** *** *** so you know this is hurting your business not getting people's packages like been promise

The business claims that I have requested returns in excess of their threshold, and are unable to provide free returns at this timeThere was never any mention of a "threshold excess."
Tophatter continues to mislead their consumers/bidders by not disclosing the location of its sellersAt least 90% of the items I received have been shipped from CHINA and is nothing more than worthless junkI've received broken items, cheaply made rings that turned my fingers black, items that are greatly misrepresented in the description on their bidding site, photos of items for bid that don't match the actual product received, and a ridiculously inflated "value" price that is crossed out (i.e., there's no way some of the costume jewelry is worth over $3,000!)
Yesterday I received another item...a magnetic cover for a microwave ovenThe item arrived broken and warpedIn addition, the so-called "magnets" aren't strong enough to hold the cover in placeThis claimed to be an "as seen on TV" item...doesn't even come close
Since Tophatter continues to try hiding behind their so-called 30-day guarantee, I'll be disputing ALL charges with my credit card companyThis is blatant fraud and I won't be taken advantage of by them or any other business
Incidentally, I won't be returning the items in question to CHINA, since it would cost to times more for shipping than I paid for the item(s)

I DO NOT mind paying for a return postage EXCEPT when the POSTAGE COSTS MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL ITEM. any returns overseas is automatically a $mailing fee. I was NEVER offered a credit. plus the mere fact that the items are either broken or nowhere near what the description stated. I have purchased quite a bit from Tophatter and returned items which did NOT match the description. limiting returns is no way to do business especially when items are broken. I will gladly MAIL THE ITEMS TO TOPHATTER. please advise
