As previously stated, Mr [redacted] account of the events differs significantly from National Floors Direct's on several frontsContinuing to argue the chronology of the events will not benefit either party.National Floors Direct and Mr [redacted] entered into a written contract for the installation of carpet in his living roomThe terms of the contract, all supplemental documents associated with the contract, and all installation and cancellation procedures are clearly outlined therein and easy for anyone to read and understandAt no point did any actions taken by National Floors Direct result in non-fulfillment of its contractual obligations to Mr [redacted] We made every reasonable attempt to install Mr [redacted] carpet on the estimated installation date written on his contract and offered any day thereafter as an alternative when it became clear that the original day was no longer an optionHis late cancellation of the order (even on 01/vs01/as he claims) does not entitle him to be released from his contractual obligations to National Floors Direct.As stated, National Floors Direct will gladly install Mr [redacted] carpet (as we have maintained we would since day 1) as contracted, can offer a $company credit toward a future purchase, or can refund the deposit less the 15% restocking fee

As written in the previous response, we cannot offer a refund for the carpet installed in this homeThe only remedy under our installation and service warranty is installation service, not a refundIf there are issues with the installation, National Floors Direct will address them in accordance with industry standards under our warranty

National Floors Direct already has a service appointment scheduled for Mr [redacted] 's homeAn installation team will be on site on 10/26, to address any issuesThis was scheduled prior to the filing of this complaint

Ms [redacted] 's account of the events surrounding her order is inaccurateShe purchased carpet for immediate installationShe was offered a considerable discount off of our regular price in consideration of a competitive price she presented at the time of saleAs further consideration of the immediate installation time frame - as is clearly written on the front of her purchase order - she waived any right to cancel the orderWe are unable to offer Ms [redacted] anything other than the installation of the cut up carpet we have sitting in our local distribution center

National Floors Direct disputes Mr [redacted] ***'s account of the events surrounding the cancellation of his orderTimely written cancellation was never received by National Floors DirectRegardless, as a measure of good faith, National Floors Direct will issue Mr [redacted] a full refund of the deposit on this order

National Floors Direct cannot offer Ms [redacted] any refund for this orderOn 12/12/2017, Ms [redacted] placed an order for installation of a hardwood floor on 12/16/At the time of installation, she left a $deposit to initiate the transaction with the understanding that she would apply an additional deposit the following day.On 12/13, Ms [redacted] provided an additional $1,deposit by check and agreed to waive any right to cancel the order so National Floors Direct could offer her an "emergency rush installation" on a special order hardwood flooring productOn 12/14, Ms [redacted] left a message with our overnight answering service to cancel the orderBased on processing procedures - unaware of the special circumstances agreed upon on consecutive days with this customer - a hold was placed on the material shipmentAfter our customer service team connected with Ms [redacted] later in the day on 12/14, the hold was released but not in time for the material to make the intended 12/16, delivery dateThis was thoroughly explained to Ms [redacted] on 12/The materials arrived in our local distribution center the following business day, 12/18.If Ms [redacted] did not leave the message with the answering service, the flooring would have arrived and been installed as originally agreedAs we have communicated to Ms [redacted] several times, this is a special order productNational Floors Direct cannot offer her any refundWe remain ready, willing, and able to proceed with the installation services as contracted but we are unable to cancel this order

National Floors Direct cannot offer Ms [redacted] a refund at this timeOn 10/20, Ms [redacted] ordered special order carpets for different non-adjacent installation spaces in her homeIn one of those spaces, a closet was drawn on the interior of the room walls that is actually outside of the wall areaNational Floors Direct cannot cancel an order for custom cut pieces of special order carpet because of the need to add a small closet's worth of carpet to the orderThe installation could have been - quite literally - 99% completed on the initial day of installation and the closet carpet ordered for completion within a few days at no charge to the customerThe missing closet is no reason to justify refusing the entire installation and trying to cancel the orderNational Floors Direct remains ready, willing, and able to complete the installation for Ms***, but we cannot offer any refund for the custom cut carpets she purchased

Not one single item was moved by this customer prior to installationPer the terms of our agreement, we will need to be paid in full for the hours of additional labor before we can offer this customer any wallbaseWe are not a moving companyWe expect our customers to uphold their parts of our mutual agreementsWe need to be paid in full, then we can deliver the wall base

Ms [redacted] 's account of the events surrounding this installation is mostly fictionWhat is true is that she deceptively stopped payment on her COD for the flooring & installation from National Floors Direct after the hard working installation team spent almost full days installing the beautiful new flooring in her home.Ms [redacted] is correct that National Floors Direct demanded payment for the floor after it learned of her deception and is also correct that her actions constitute felony theft in her home state, [redacted] Further, the price was crossed off the completion certificate to reflect the generous discount she was given off of the already discounted price after she called National Floors Direct to express that she didn't have enough money to pay for the floor at the price for which she originally contracted and she was unable to obtain third party financing.This is a really unfortunate situation, and is one that National Floors Direct has never encountered beforeIt is absolutely shocking that Ms [redacted] would attempt to not pay for thousands of dollars of our goods & services and then complain about the experience with the Revdex.com

The stairs referenced in Mr [redacted] 's complaint are no part of the original agreementAs a measure of good faith, National Floors Direct has agreed to install the stairs at no additional cost to Mr [redacted] National Floors Direct is not able to offer any additional complimentary carpet to Mr [redacted] for him to use as area rugs in his home

The carpet was installed as contracted and in a manner consistent with the highest standards in the industryNational Floors Direct responded immediately to the customer's concerns and sent an installation technician to her home to address any issues

National Floors Direct provides a copy of its installation warranty to every customer at the completion of their installationIf Mr [redacted] is interested in obtaining a copy of the material warranty for his carpet, he can contact our customer service department 24/7, at ( [redacted] , to arrange transmission or instructions on how to download the warranty documents

This customer has elected to pursue legal action against National Floors Direct in small claims courtNational Floors Direct respectfully requests that Revdex.com removes this complaint as Ms [redacted] 's actions have forced this matter outside of the scope of Revdex.com oversightThank you

This is our second time putting a complaint about National Floors Direct When we put the first complaint in with Revdex.com we were contacted the very next day by the Manager *** and were told that a technician would be at our home on 1/31/anytime between 8:00am and 12:00pm to fix the issues from the previous complaintWe took time out of work AGAIN and NO ONE ever showed up!!!!! They even called in the morning to confirm and said more than likely it would be on the earlier end of the 8-timeframeThey showed up at 2pm and we were not home as we had to go back to workWe called and spoke to *** and were told if we wanted to reschedule we would have to pay for it!!!! We then said we would contact our attorney and we then got a call back within minutes saying a technician would be at the house on 2/6/between 3:00pm and 6:00pmWe have cameras on our property and guess what no one ever showed up again and we both took time out of work again to be here for 3:00pmVery very unprofessional and disappointed as they do not stick by their policies or by their word.Desired Outcome: The carpet to be repaired correctly

National Floors Direct disputes Ms [redacted] 's account of the events surrounding the execution and late cancellation of this purchase order on all frontsAt this point, despite our best efforts, it does not seem that there is anything National Floors Direct can do to resolve this complaint.We remain ready, willing, and able to install the approved carpet on Ms [redacted] 's order at the approved price discount
