Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] [I have contacted their customer service and no one responds to meI was told the installation manager would call me and I left different messages for him and have not heard back from anyone at this companyThe customer service manager *** was clearly told about the tacks sticking in my feet and did nothing to help meThey should also provide proof that this carpet is the one selectedThere are no identifiable numbers on any of my paperwork from National Floors Direct to verify that I got the carpet I selectedThey clearly did not respond to the price guarantee I've addressedAnd they gave me no choice than to accept the carpet or pay another $dollar restock fee after cashing my $deposit checkI would be out $if I did not accept their carpetThe response to my claims clearly shows the company could carelessThey cashed their checks and do not want to be bothered by a dissatisfied customerIt would be great if this company would stand by their product and offer something in this situation, preferably a refund so I can get this horrible carpet replacedIt has now lowered the value of my home and I will seek legal action if this is not rectifiedThis whole situation has caused me emotional distress and mental anguish and is now a financial burden, bringing down the value of my home.] Regards, [redacted]

National Floors Direct cannot offer Ms [redacted] a refund fro fees associated with the installation of her order that were clearly disclosed to her at the time of sale as being her responsibilityIn two separate line items of this agreement (both of which were initialed by Ms [redacted] ), it clearly states that "Customer [is] responsible for disconnecting & reconnecting any applicable water, gas, or electricity from all appliancesNFD is not a plumbing or electrical contractor and, as such, it would be irresponsible for us to attempt to perform these kinds of servicesFurther, NFD does not move vanities, sinks, or toiletsThis work must be done by a licensed plumber."We trust this will close the matter

The order clearly states on the front, "COD - NO PERSONAL CHECK - BALANCE MUST BE PAID IN FULL ON ARRIVAL." It's not COD, after installation is completeThere is no room for interpretation here.National Floors Direct ordered the exact carpets on Ms [redacted] 's purchase orderThey are the same color, quality, size, and width specified on the purchase order and coordinate exactly with the product sample from which she selected the product at the time of sale on 03/25/Any claims to the contrary are completely baseless.We cannot cancel the order, we cannot issue a refundThese are special order 15' wide carpets, custom cut to the length of her roomsThe carpets are in our local distribution center, ready for delivery and installation in her home

Any material needed to complete the installation was delivered at no additional cost to Ms [redacted] We apologize for any inconvenience associated with the unforeseen delay in completing the projectNational Floors Direct offered a significantly more expensive product upgrade to Ms [redacted] , which she accepted, prior to her filing of this complaintThe issues with the substrate in her home were not foreseeableWe cannot offer a product upgrade worth more than $1,and a $credit to Ms [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] The "technician" that was sent over was the same person that installed the carpet, so I took it upon myself to now document his time at my homeHe walked in, said "fix", and went towards the stepsHe started to bang on my steps with the back handle of a chisel, yes, a chisel, not even a hammer, in attempt to "hammer" down each and every spikeSo I just stood there recording and watching, knowing each step had about 20-spikesI knew he wasn't going to get them all with the back handle of a chiselWhen he was done, less than minutes later, he came up to me and said "Ok, $dollar for gas?" I said "what?! $dollars for gas?!" completely appalled that he is actually asking me for even a pennyAnd he said "yes, the company no pay me to come here." I threw him out of my homeHow dare #He actually ask me for a penny#If it is true that the company didn't pay him, how dare they make him do a job and not get paid? Needless to say when he left, the problem is still not fixedThe back handle of the chisel did not work and there are STILL spikes on my steps that poke the feet of my family when we walk up and down the steps Regards, [redacted]

National Floors Direct cannot do anything for Mr [redacted] This customer has rescheduled his installation more than times since NovemberThe material was delivered in each of the scheduled installation dates as contractedIt is exactly 100% the material he purchaseWe cannot offer him any refund for this order after MONTHS of driving to his home to install, his payment issues, his furniture issues, etc., etc

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] NFD:National Floors Direct cannot offer Mr [redacted] another hardwood floorOn 09/06/2017, National Floors Direct contracted with Mr [redacted] to install [redacted] Hardwood in the [redacted] West color in his living room, dining room, and family roomOn 09/13/2017, as contracted, our installation team brought the [redacted] West product to his home and began the installationOn the second day of the installation, with the job nearly complete, Mr [redacted] told the installers to leave the his home immediately because he no longer likes the wood (that is 97% installed in his home)[redacted] :This information is absolutely falseOn the first day, the installers came layed about hardwood planksI saw the color and it was not matching with the one I took a picture on the sales visit then I stopped themI called the customer service and told the sameThey argued and said the same wood was orderedI told them send the sales rep [redacted] with the same sample woodThey said, they will send him next day to match meanwhile they can lay the wood in family roomI said OK to thatNext day the sales rep [redacted] did not come and installers cameMy wife was home and she did not let them do any work unless the sales rep matches the colorI took the financing on my name and they took my wife’s signature and billed the finance company They should take my signature for the completion of the work Also the work is only complete 30%I ordered the work roomsThey took away the carpet and laid the hardwood on the floorThey did not even nail the hardwoodThe living room and dining room are not even touched NFD:National Floors Direct believes this is an attempt by Mr [redacted] to avoid his obligation to pay for this floor[redacted] :This is absolutely falseI already paid and my finance company paid NFD:The product installed is a 100% verifiable exact match to the product on the [redacted] Sample board our representative showed Mr [redacted] on 09/06/2017, in his homeNational Floors Direct has the material invoices from the manufacturer, photos of the boxes of flooring brought to his home, and hundreds of [redacted] Branded Sample boards to substantiate this position[redacted] :I have taken picture of the sample shownI am furnishing the sample and the wood on my floor for the perusalThey are quite different Regards, [redacted]

National Floors Direct cannot offer Ms [redacted] any refund on her carpet orderMs [redacted] contracted with National Floors Direct for a large carpet installation in her homeAt the time the agreement was made, Ms [redacted] was left with a carbon copy of our pre-installation checklist outlining her responsibilities regarding preparing for her installation, among which was clearing "ALL clothing and debris from the installation areas." When our installation team arrived to complete the project, Ms [redacted] did not move ANYTHING.The installations space was completely cluttered with clothing, breakables, and debris stacked 5-feet above the carpetWe cannot and will not move endless piles of clothing and debrisOn 08/04, our first visit, the customer agreed to pay additional money for our team to help move the debrisShe left to go to the bank and never returnedThe customer called later in the day, agreeing again to pay the installers the additional funds requested for them to help with the debrisWe rescheduled the installation to 08/On 08/07, the customer refused to pay for anything, including the installation itselfWe have the carpet on this order, custom cut to the sizes of her rooms and have paid our installers for days work to wait at Ms [redacted] 's home for her to either pay or clear the debrisWe cannot offer her any refund

National Floors Direct cannot offer Ms [redacted] any compensation for removing the existing carpet in her homeThere are no notes on any of the pages of order documents submitted by our sales representative regarding the company attempting to save or in any way re-use existing carpetOn a side note, carpet is not a product that can be installed more than onceWith no notes or direction, it is not reasonable to think that we would be removing carpet for the purposes of re-installing it else where or leaving it for someone else to install100% of the carpet we remove from homes is recycled or placed in the trash depending on the fiber typeFurther, a 20' x 30' area of carpet is made up of at least very large, heavy pieces of carpetAn installer couldn't take up that much carpet as one piece even if he wanted to.Regarding any installation issues, Naitonal Floors Direct has no record of any calls from Ms [redacted] regarding the installation since the work was completed on 07/If there are installation-related problems or questions regarding the installation of her carpet, our customer service department can be reached 24/at [redacted] We will gladly address any installation issues with her carpet

As this customer is aware, they received a considerable discount off of our regular price in consideration for moving forward with the orderThis discount equates to far more than the $online sign on coupon available on our websiteThat coupon cannot be combined with any other special offers nor can the company offer any additional discounts off of an order that's already installedThe regular price of carpet, premium padding, installation, r& removal of existing carpet and pad, and installation labor is more than $1,before sales tax

National Floors Direct cannot offer Mr [redacted] a full refund or pay any other monies to him for any issue surrounding his flooring installationNational Floors Direct installed almost 1,square feet of laminate flooring in his ***The installation was completed on 09/21/At the completion of the installation, Mr [redacted] signed a customer satisfaction checklist rating the installation as excellent in different categories, and certified that the installation was complete and was done to his satisfaction free of defect or damage.Despite the claim in Mr***'s complaint, we have no way of blocking him from contacting our officeIf he has an issue that needs resolution outside of requesting that we return all of his money despite installing 1,square feet of flooring, we would be happy to address itWe answer the phone 24/7, at ( [redacted] .Mr***'s completed customer satisfaction checklist is attached

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below To Whom This May Concern, After my brand new floor became damaged, and I called National Floors Direct to come fix the floor, they wanted me to sign a waiver After reading the waiver, I realized if I signed the waiver it would void my entire warrantyI then got into several disputes with the company, because I refused to sign this waiver, which would have let this company get away with installing faulty material I never signed that waiver and they eventually came out to fix half the floor Additionally, using environmental factors as a reason for a floor to be installed in-properly is not a good enough reason to not fix it Your website clearly states vinyl planks can be installed in any room and your sales associate [redacted] told me this product would be not have any issues in the room that it was installed The reality is the installer told me the product that they were using was very cheap, which was the reason I was having issuesThis company has not been straight forward with me since the beginning and has ripped me off by selling me a defective product and is refusing to fix the floor Additionally, when they came to fix the floor they only fixed half the floor when the remainder of the floor was also starting to have issues Overall, this companies approach to get clients to sign off waivers to get away with selling them defective products is completely unfair and I should not have to go this far to try and get them to resolve an issue Any other company that installed a faulty product would try and fix it knowing that this was completely their fault and their product should not have "environmental factors"I hope to try and find a resolve to this issue and have my newly installed floor either fixed or receive a refund due to it not adhering properly to the floor as it should Regards, [redacted]

The photos submitted by Ms [redacted] show that the carpet is installed correctly and in a manner consistent with industry standardsAs a measure of good faith, National Floors Direct will reach out to Ms [redacted] immediately to coordinate a visit by a company representative to evaluate the issues on-site

On 12/10/2016, National Floors Direct contracted with Mr [redacted] to reserve carpet & flooring materials in our main warehouse for an installation to take place at an undisclosed timeAt the time of sale a very small deposit was placed on his orders to hold the materialsApproximately months later, Mr [redacted] called National Floors Direct to schedule installationAs is customary before shipping materials from our main warehouse to our local distribution facility, our customer service agent requested an additional deposit to bring the customer's level of financial commitment to our minimum required for installationThe cost of shipping the materials is more than the amount of money on deposit from the customerNational Floors Direct cannot offer Mr [redacted] We have had this material reserved for his order for more than monthsWe will need a full deposit before we can schedule delivery and installation

National Floors Direct cannot offer Ms [redacted] any refund for the order that we installed in her home in AugustAt the time of installation, it was noted by the installation team that the customer was attempting to blame him for a scratch on her floor underneath a rug in an area of the home where no installation work was provided by National Floors DirectWe cannot offer Ms [redacted] anything

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] The statements made by national floors direct is absolutely in accurate I was available via phone the first day they came for the insulation and their installers told me that they were going downstairs to get a cup of coffee while waiting for national floors direct supervisor to get back to them and they left the job to never return on the first attemptOn the second attempt they were waiting for a box of tiles which I explain to them was no longer needed because the area that they were going to be covering was smaller since I had my cabinets installed in the kitchenThey stated that it was the sales person‘s fault that he did wrong measurementWhen I spoke to the sales person he admitted that he measured incorrectly The third/fourth attempt they canceled on me twice in one dayEvery person that you speak their needs customer service training I was actually told by *** that he is never seen an installation be canceled so many timesSo no it is not my fault because it could have been done that very first day if their installers didn’t lie and disappear I will never do business with this company again nor recommend them to anyone I knowThis has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company Regards, [redacted] ***

National Floors Direct contracted with Ms [redacted] to install carpet in hallway areas and on staircasesThe scope of the work on this order is limited to carpet installation in those areasNo carpet installation team is equipped with the tools to remove hardwood hand rails, nor is that part of the contractIt is Ms [redacted] ' responsibility to provide an installation space suitable to accept the materials for which she contractedNational Floors Direct remains ready and willing to complete the work per the terms of the agreement as soon as the space is ready
