Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,

Yes,
Thank you very much for the replyI believe all the costs are unreasonable due to the circumstances, but I am sure they are within the law, although very unethical the way they are going about doing businessI would at least like back the $"overtime" cost and the $
"storage fee." I feel that at least these two unrealistic costs would be refundableThere should be no "overtime" costs because they were not called out to this location, but sat on this location voluntarily so they could take advantage of a situationThe one day storage fee should be refunded because I was at their location within the hour, so there should be no one day "storage fee."
Thank you

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response but closing my complaint because:
Speaking of getting facts straight, the other person mentioned in Towing Unlimited's response, Mr***, is not my friend and was not apart of my original complaintMr*** got involved on his own accord after my *** post regarding this incident went viral, and he wished to make a complaint of his ownMy complaint for the pricing of the tow of $(which I had originally thought it was $170) was explained by a manager of the shop only after he reached out to me the day after my *** post went viralAfter hearing the manager out, I can see that the tow itself was justified, however this was not explained to us when we got down to the shop to collect our cars, therefore we were dumbfounded as to why we were getting punished for paying hours originally, which we were able to prove that nightMy original complaint was also about the employee who mishandled us while we were trying to get our cars back, in which the company's response did not address.
With this response from the company and the overwhelming comments from others who have chosen to also speak up about their experiences with Towing Unlimited, It's clear to see that professionalism is not apart of the company's integrityThe issue has resolved itself when Hawaii News Now got involved and exposed the company's unethical predatory towing methodsThe property manager of the parking lot has also been in contact with all parties involved and have assured the public that Towing Unlimited's contract with that lot has been terminated and will now be monitored by Ace Towing as of Dec24th, Thank you Revdex.com for taking action in this matterMy goal here was to warn the community about the unethical and unprofessional experience we encountered with Towing Unlimited, and that has been accomplished with the power of social media.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:I do not agree with towing a vehicle if it has been expired by five minutes under these circumstancesIt is a parking lot, it had empty spaces available, parked in a paid for parking stall, and was not causing any obstructionThis company admits waiting in the parking lot to tow vehiclesYes there is a sign that says parking is strictly enforced, but to actually sit in the parking lot and prey on the people who's ticket is minutes expired is unacceptableI have been a Law Enforcement Officer in California for yearsWhen I make decisions there is what we call "Spirit of the Law" and "Letter of the Law"It would be like me giving your tow truck drivers a ticket every time they went miles over the speed limit! Is it lawful for me to do that, YES, is it right, NOThank god you're not in Law Enforcement! Good luck with your business brudda!
Sincerely,

*** *** *** *** ***, Pursuant to my response on 9/12/2016, the list that Mr. S*** is dated 8/4/The illegal towing incident was on 8/3/2016. The documents clearly show that he did not have the authorized list, in his possession, at the time he towed my truck.1) MrS*** has deceived youRevdex.com personnel did not examine the dating of the email and fooled you into thinking that he had the authorized list at the time of the towingYou failed to pick up the sequence of datesI did not feel that due to the Revdex.com's expertise, I was required mention that critical pointThis would have been the third instance by way of a followup response subsequent to 9/22/I already mentioned his misrepresentation of dates in my response on 9/9/and my certified letter of complaint to MrS*** dated August 5, 2016, that was attached to my original complaint to the Revdex.com.2) MrS*** also declined to disclose the name of the person who calledHe cleverly and conveniently masked the entire premise of my complaint, that is, he illegally towed my vehicle, from private property , WITHOUT proper authorization*** *** is listed and the owner, *** ***, is the authorized personThe sushi chef (***) was the person who called for the tow *** *** did not list the sushi chef as an authorized callerThe sushi chef personally admitted to me and my wife that he was the one who calledWe had a meeting with Mr *** and the sushi chef with my wife and myself, and both of them reiterated that *** was the person who called for the towLet the record show that the sushi chef, ***, is not on the listThis was mentioned, twice, in my letter of complaint and the response to the Revdex.comYou did not pick this up.I conclude that MrS*** did not have the authorized call list when he towed my truck and, more troubling is , even if he had the list, he still would have towed my vehicle.I also conclude that the Revdex.com is not qualified to make meaningful decisions based on the available factsAll the facts were presented prior to 9/30/2016, but you failed to act upon it accordingly. Please correct me if I am wrong.....I assume the Revdex.com took the easy way out by waiting for me respond in a manner that would have reiterated, on multiple occasions, facts that already exist. If you wish , I am ready, willing, and able to talk to the Director of the Revdex.comMy cell phone number is 808-368- If he does call me, please be sure that the Director has read ALL the correspondence PRIOR to our conversation.*** ***

Reference of complaint # ***Mr.*** *** had paid two dollars for parking His ticket had been expired at 7:00pm.Vehicle was cleared at 7:00pm, logged at 7:05pm with HPD.Mr.*** was not on scene at 6:55pmIf he was the vehicle would have never been cleared or logged with
HPD.Also if he was there and if he was the registered owner of vehicle it would had been released for free.Mr*** called us at 7:11pmIf the operator didn’t answer his call right away it is because we have other callers on line.Thank you, Sean S***

I am rejecting this response because: Your employees didn't pick up the
phone as I left voice mailsNobody called us backNobody advised
anything because there was no call backThere is no instruction on what
to do when your machine obviously can't PRINTWhen meters don't work,
HPD gives people, the benefit of the doubt but like I said earlier you
are money hungry thieves who simply try to make that extra buckThe
screen shot pictures were on 4/24/at 10:18am, 10:19am and 10:39amYou wrote
the ticket, I'm not claiming any ticketI never did say I had a ticket
on my dash as this is why I am making this complaintWhat are you
talking about ***, LOL?! Can't you see in the photo's that your
printer was broken? I swore, no, haha?! You are full of bologna

dash board.Sean

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I had a pass as documenting I had permission to park in the lot during the specified time that they towed my vehicle. The company may be able to tow cars, but when I tried to talk to the company by phone after I found my vehicle wrongfully towed, I received nothing but disrespectful treatment. I hope that others do not fall victim to their practice and if they do they are able to speak up and notify the Revdex.com. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

On August 3, 2016 around 9pm we received 4calls to tow a truck.
it was parked along side the fence clearly stated "no parking". Then we revived a call from a guy screaming at the top of his lungs.
He was demanding to know who called, and that he has every right to park there, and only...

him and his wife are allowed to call for tows. When we found out he was the tenant for the laundry mat, we told him we will release the truck for free... Even after how rudely he was speaking to  dispatch . While [redacted] was picking up the truck, his wife then calls and starts yelling at dispatch, and calling her all type of names. Yelling she's going to sue us and destroy our company. After that call, [redacted] had to pay for his truck.  We were giving him back his vehicle for free out of the courtesy of the fact that he was a tend it but after that crazy phone call from his wife he had to pay. 2 weeks before this, [redacted] called to have cars towed from [redacted]. The two tenants have dramas with each other. We are here to tow cars, not get involved in their drama. We then also ended our tow contract with [redacted]. He is not the only person who can call in tows on cars. Here is a photo of names that are allowed to call, and picture of the transformer fence of no parking allowed. Why does he think he can park there, when no one else is allowed to park there. He's upset and saying we towed it  illegally because be had to pay for his tow bill.

Case #[redacted]We had a new driver working that night,. When our driver checked the car, the ticket was expired. Our driver then walks off property to get the tow truck. While he was getting the tow truck. the RO puts a new ticket on the dash. Our driver comes back and did not recheck the...

ticket... and that was our fault.Since we knew it was our fault we had sent our driver out to pick him up.He was not out there waiting on a cab. His car was dolley while it was towed. So it was not touching the ground. There is no way we damaged his alignment or E break. We are truly Sorry we made the mistake, and have tried to amend the situation best as possible. His final text to out dispatcher was saying thank you. You made a difficult situation better. He was also not charged at all for this tow.

This lot is a pay and display lot. Which means you need to buy a parking ticket and display it on your dash. Mr [redacted] states that his ticked was from 7:02 to 9:02.  He also states that the entered the lot  at 9:15 after his ticket was expired, to find his car towed. This lot has a 5 minute grace period after that your car is eligible for tow. Drivers have to check all cars on property for tickets and times which is why the truck is parked on property once the rounds are done if there is nothing to tow they go on with there routs.
As far as for the towing charges they are all regulated by the 290-11 and all of his chrges are done exactly as required by law.
