Horrible experience
Bunch of lies. Within a 4 hr period I was told a car was available for test drive only to be told on-site that the car was already sold. The posting in the internet was then quickly removed. The disorganization is ridiculous

As per the Service Manager, [redacted] visited the service center and had his brakes repaired at no cost to the client Please update our records accordingly

Kevin P***, GSM of Toyota Manhattan, left a message for the client earlier today, asking the client to call him back to discuss a convenient time for the client to visit the showroom Our GSM will work with the client regarding trading in his current vehicle

Company policy requires all deposits to be refunded in the form they were received Several times we had requested a letter from [redacted] granting permission for Toyota of Manhattan to refund his deposit in check form as he indicated to us that he no longer had the credit card on which he originally left the deposit We received the letter from [redacted] on Friday, October **, We sent the check request to our corporate office on Monday, October ** Refund check was received from our corporate office on Friday, October ** [redacted] was contacted today and a message was left asking if he would like to pick up his check or have it sent via Overnight delivery We are awaiting his response

The [redacted] spoke with the customer yesterday evening(12***/14)CRM spoke with the company's accounting dept this morning (1214)-- A check for full amount has been sent out via regular mailCustomer should receive payment within hours of this responseCRM will follow up with customer today as well as during the week to confirm receival of payment.--Request Close

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Toyota of Manhattan regarding complaint ID [redacted] , My issue is far from being resolved because they paid for the brakes to be repaired and they reluctantly paid for the rental car, and this only happened after the Attorney General's Office got involved but because of other underlining issues I have been forced to acquire a new vehicle because the amount of monthly payments were excessive and the fact that they lied during the contract negotiations has me stuck with a vehicle that I no longer useI want them to take back this vehicle, void the contract and return all of the money that I put into it because anytime a company lies and writes it in black and white that they did something that they obviously didn't and then tries to make you pay for it they are liable and need to be held accountable especially when they put someone's life in danger In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because the fact that I was duped into signing a contract that was flawed is the key issue hereWhen you are told that the vehicle had one prior owner and you find out through the car fax that this isn't the case that is an issue all too itselfThen we(my mother and I were told that if we get the platimun coverage it would cover everything from head to tailNow they are stating that this is not the caseThe fact that I had to be contacted by Enterprise rental agency shows that they tried not to pay for the rental car for the entire day period, and were only trying to pay for seven daysImagine this I bring the car in for a flat to be repaired because I have no jack in the car with which to place a tire on my carThen when I call the dealership for the contact number to roadside service they give me the run around and tell me that I would have to drive the car eleven blocksThey claimed that they don't have a tire for me and put a spare on my rear left wheel and tell me to drive slowly because I live miles awayWhen I get home I go to find some fluid in the trunk area and find a completely good tire which they just didn't feel like putting on at the timeThis is already one day of work and the next day when they do put on the tire I assumed that all is well but the following day mu brakes give out on the Nassau Expressway nearly causing me to collide with a tracker trailerWhen I bring the car back to the shop they first tell me that they have to get permission to fix the car, but what they are not saying is that they want me to pay for itzi check the car fax and it clearly states that on the *** of August a tie was replaced and the brakes checked, but when I bring this to their attention they tried to deny it until I showed them it in black and whiteAfter getting the Attorney General involved then the head person Mike comes in and says we will fix your brakesThere is no mention about the fact that the car revs while your foot is on the gas pedal, causing the car to lurch at inappropiate timesWhile this was going on the reason that I didn't choose to take a new car as they offered was because they wanted us to put up first $which we did and then they claimed that they lost it but later claimed that we never gave them the money and then the sales manager Will H*** asks us for $down for a car worth only $and if we had just purchased a car supposedly worth $with no money down why would we have to pay that much down if we traded the car in that we hadThey have a shady way of doing business and the original salesman that sold me the car was let go two weeks later but when I went down there I saw him in person and he acted like we had never metThen the following week he is no longer thereNow we returned the car and they are trying to take points off our credit when they should be the one penalizedLives cannot be risked for no amount of money and the fact that they are going to proceed with this nonsense means that a lawsuit is imminentAll I want s for them to void the contract and return any money that I put into that vehicle because it was a disaster waiting to happenThen there is the issue of the odometer readings being in correct but that is minor compared to what has happened.

Before I complained about this to BB I made many calls and sent many emails to Toyota of Manhattan but until I complained none were answeredThis has caused me added time and effort that should be unnecessaryMoreover, the result of this long failure to pay what the business agreed to pay has resulted in my receiving an unnecessary referral to a collection agencyI have a right to expect that the charge will be paidI also expect an apology from the business

CRM and Pre-owned *** spoke to Accounting Deptthis morning (12/**/14)-- Customer's check was mailed out 12/**/and should be received within hours of this responseCRM has aplogized to customer multiple times and has reprimanded employees in accounting dept responsible for the delay in reimbursement--Request Close

I had instructed Matt K*** to send a $check to this customer back in Nov of This is the first i'm hearing it was not receivedwe will send another check for $to the customerWe will also send a $check to make up for the parts the customer said are missingI realize
this exceeds what the customer is requesting but hopefully it makes up a little for any delay?
