[redacted] was contractually obligated under the terms of his lease to return the leased vehicle with normal wear and tear and two working keys.  Toyota of Manhattan and Toyota Financial Services does not, in the normal course of business, pay for missing equipment.  As a gesture of...

good will, our corporate office is currently processing a check in the amount of $408.28, payable to Toyota Financial Services, for the missing equipment from [redacted]'s vehicle.

[redacted] deal was cancelled.  He visited the showroom on 9/**/16 and signed all appropriate paperwork.  We are working on one last DMV issue for him.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I now have all the information from Toyota Financial Services. I have reached out to the client by phone and email with the response. It took a lot longer to get answers from Toyota than I thought. She will even be receiving a $38.26 refund from them. [redacted]...

just returned my email and appears to be happy. Please let me know if there is a way I can officially answer this complaint?   Thank you in advance,   Jason M[redacted]

business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. An important note: I had specifically asked for all fees and why the registration fee was so high. In both discussions a $250 processing fee was not communicated by Toyota of Manhattan.
Sincerely,

Kevin P[redacted], GSM of Toyota Manhattan, left a message for the client earlier today, asking the client to call him back to discuss a convenient time for the client to visit the showroom.  Our GSM will work with the client regarding trading in his current vehicle.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Toyota of Manhattan regarding complaint ID [redacted], My issue is far from being resolved because  they paid for the brakes to be repaired and they reluctantly paid for the rental car, and this only happened after the Attorney General's...

Office got involved but because of other underlining issues I have been forced to acquire a new vehicle because the amount of monthly payments were excessive and the fact that they lied during the contract negotiations has me stuck with a vehicle that I no longer use. I want them to take back this vehicle, void the contract and return all of the money that I put into it because anytime a company lies and writes it in black and white that they did something that they obviously didn't and then tries to make you pay for it they are liable and need to be held accountable especially when they put someone's life in danger

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]Although Manhattan Toyota's response to Revdex.com said that they had mailed a check to us yesterday, my wife just spoke to Manhattan Toyota on the phone and was told that a check had not yet been mailed.  She was told that the check is in New Jersey.  We will be satisfied that the matter has been closed when Manhattan Toyota's check for $10,700 has been cleared by our bank, and not before then.

A check for $3,300 was processed on May **, 2016 and was mailed to [redacted] on May **, 2016.  We also reimbursed [redacted] for her transportation expenses to and from the dealership for this transaction in the amount of $134.96.  This check was mailed to [redacted] on July **, 2016.

Company policy requires all deposits to be refunded in the form they were received.  Several times we had requested a letter from [redacted] granting permission for Toyota of Manhattan to refund his deposit in check form as he indicated to us that he no longer had the credit card on which he originally left the deposit.    We received the letter from [redacted] on Friday, October **, 2015.  We sent the check request to our corporate office on Monday, October **.  Refund check was received from our corporate office on Friday, October **.  [redacted] was contacted today and a message was left asking if he would like to pick up his check or have it sent via Overnight delivery.  We are awaiting his response.

Toyota of Manhattan feels we have done everything we can to accommodate this client.  The client brought his vehicle to the dealership as he was interested in trading his vehicle for a newer vehicle.  We accepted the client's vehicle for trade and put the client in a rental (fully paid for by the dealership) until the transaction could be completed.  Client decided not to proceed with the transaction.  We then replaced the brakes on the client's vehicle at no cost to the client.  As the client is pursuing legal action against the dealership, we can have no further contact.

[redacted]s New Jersey registration and plates were mailed to her on June **, 2016.  We also sent [redacted] a compensation check for $1,200 which was mailed on July **, 2016.  [redacted] requested an additional key for her vehicle, which was mailed to her today, August *, 2016.

My complaint has finally been resolved.  As of today, Toyota of Manhattan's check for $10,700 has been deposited to my bank account and has cleared.Sincerely,
[redacted]

The vehicle is question was sold to our sister dealership.  However, our online inventory did not update when the vehicle was transferred to our sister dealership.  Our staff uses our online inventory to confirm availability.  Because the online inventory did not update, the staff...

believed the vehicle to still be in our inventory.  Management has addressed the inventory process when selling to sister stores so that our online inventory updates as soon as the vehicle is no longer available.  We do apologize for the inconvenience to this client.
