Ms*** fails to mention some very important mattersShe has been a student for at least months and was taking advantage of the
educationShe is a sophisticated investor and even has some specialized training in investments that she gained before becoming a TA studentWhy did it take so long for her to complain? I surmise that she took advantage of learning everything she could from TA and then tried to manufacture a reason for a refundWhere was she in October or November of 2014? She continued with the course until now
The fact that her pricing may have been different from others is irrelevantSometimes Trading Advantage puts together packages or has promotions LIKE ANY OTHER BUSINESS! Ms*** spent months using the education and is not entitled to a refund after months of taking advantage of our instructors and our materials.Ms*** signed a document that told her there were no refundsI might consider a discount
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First of all I informed the folks who registered me that I wasn't ready to begin the course until after the new year, because I had extensive accounting work and that I was involved with attending tax seminars
As it turned out I wasn't ready to start the program until April, I started the screening in July, These facts are not addressed in Mr***'s responseI spoke to *** *** during the preliminary time when I was studying the videos*** wasn't the person I spoke to upon signing up
After watching the videos, I had to call several times to get help with the softwareKnowing the software isn't substitution for knowing how to trade
I read on the websites of both the Revdex.com and the Rip-off Reports that Mr*** was committed to a 100% customer satisfactionThis fact gave me confidence that if I encountered a problem, it would be resolved to my satisfactionI read this when I signed up
My education has to do with *** arbitration and stocks and optionsIt doesn't have to do with day trading futures which is a distinctly different skill
Mr*** fails to address the lack of transparency that his organization has in terms of those who make it into their TAP programAlso, there's no documentation for the posted results on his home pageI haven't reviewed the advertising requirements for "futures" but I am sure it has to have a factual basis
Also, the numbers posted for gains on their website are misleadingMr*** says he's an educator, but he is advising in those chat rooms by proxy
Futhermore, the contract in the context of the advertisements and postings on the Better Business Website leads the consumer to believe that there is a money back guarantee
Also, the contract has contradictory language which states that refunds are given in some situations
The educational information and instruction I received wasn't consistent with the pitch I receivedI am dissatisfied with the quality of instruction and guidance that I receivedI am dissatisfied with the lack of transparency and confusion that this organization projectsIs it an advisor or an educator? From the look of the website, it projects that it gives out winning trades, but then when questioned *** *** retreats into an educator mode where he can experience no liability
The quality of the instruction consisted of watching videos and information regarding the software used for screening and tradingMr*** fails to mention he is a partner/investor in Blue Water when you sign up
Confusion abounds when it comes to what Mr*** offers his "students" or are they "proprietary traders" in training? His advertising is the lure and he sets the hook when the customer thinks he will learn a valuable skill that might lead him to make money
This firm projects confusion resulting in misleading claims
I seek a full refund and I very serious about this pursuitI plan to take this matter to those organizations that will assist me in making full disclosure about my experience
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/08/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept their proposal given what I have already experienced in terms of the quality of their teaching materialsI am not impressed and I don't want to spend more valuable time engaging in their effortsI have checked around after my disappointments and found too much evidence that this organization is not what I expectedMr*** referenced that I am experiencedI am experienced in options trading and arbitration issuesAnd, I am not confident in this organization's ability to teach the skills they purport that they can
I simply want my money backMy time and money are both valuable and this company isn't satisfactory and doesn't provide valueFurthermore, their pricing is predatoryI really want nothing to do with them

Are you upset that you were unable to pass *** screening to get funded? No one promises that you will get fundedMany people have been funded and have traded TA's money
We do provide one on one training upon requestTo the best of my knowledge, you never requested one on one trainingMany people do not need it, but if someone does, it is availableIn face, I cant arrange for that if you request itI have already addressed to "standardized pricing" issue
Please contact me and I will arrange for your one on one training

this customer seems to be confusedHe entered into a novation, or new contract when he decided to accept the lifetime membership in lieu of the membership he originally purchasedWe have a tape recording of him making the new agreementSo, he voided the old contract and accepted the new oneHe
is not entitled to a refundHe continued to use the product under the new agreement for months, and then complained

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
Sincerely,
*** ***

Just because a potential customer does not pay attention to a presentation and makes up his own version of it is not our problemIt was made completely clear that there are no refundsAgain, our courses are not offered on an "on approval" basisAs I indicated previously, there was no pressure
the customer was advised in writing that there are no refundsthe no refunds policy is clearly stated in large printPeople have to live up to their commitments and they can't just decide unilaterally that they want to break an agreement they madeOriginally, this customre was upset ecasue he was on hold for too longIs that high pressure? He had plenty of time to think about the transactionAfter speaking with a supervisor, he agreed to make the purchaseSo really, there was no pressure

This individual was placed on the firm's do not call list in May, If this person gets another call, please contact Trading Advantage and ask for the complaint resolution department
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000,
14, 2014/06/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Haven't received any call from this company since my last complaintI'm glad to learn that my number is in their "Do Not Call" list

I am requesting to reopen this case since *** Department reversed a charge back to me when I file disputed of my claimI thought they were in my favor because I got money back on August Now my bank took away my money from me again so, I am here again trying to reclaim my money back
The bottom line, the whole contract is shaded and dubious from the day oneI was duped and blinded sided the way I introduced in signing the contract right away before reading the contractAfter learning of their deception scheme, I had to back out right away from their contractI am not too sure why they keep pressing on retaining their fee when the money is not theirs
I don't know what more they want from me and this is absurd since, I don't want anything do with their contract because their customer service is awful and obnoxiousThey act like because I e-signed the contract, I forfeit my rights to refund because I disagreed and wanting to back out of the contractAnyway, very good reputable companies will allow me to read and physically sign the contract or have a grace period to back out of the contractIf they have let me read the contract, I never have signed it, PERIOD!
I am very honest person who uses "common sense" ruleWhen I see or hear something is not right, I back out of contract, and this is what I have been trying to do, but they will not let goI want my money back, "PERIOD" and have Michael *** and Tino *** or any other people from TA to leave me along unless they want return my refund my money
Last week someone left a message on my voice mail without their name including their tittle, therefore, I do not response there callIf they want me to response, they need to leave their full name and their tittle

After a review of the records, this student viewed lessons on line and completed lessonsHe last logged in on January 7, Therefore, this student has been using the education for nearly months prior to filing this complaintIf he believed there was a problem, why did he continue to
use the ,material for all this time? Further, it is possible for him to use his educationThe markets for which he has purchased the education are open hours a day five days a weekTrading Advantage believes it has provided more than enough education to meet our requirementsFinally, the student purchased a lifetime course, which does not expire When we offer the course, the student is clearly advised in the paperwork in large print that there are absolutely no refunds

It is unfortunate that you say you had insufficient fund s to trade, but that is not our issueWe provide trading educationWhat you choose to do with that education is up to youEducation is not something that goes awayOnce you take it, it stays with you and you can use it for the rest of your
lifeOur materials are proprietary and we clearly state on our documentation that there are no refundsWe do not encourage people to risk moneyRather, we encourage the to use trading simulation until they are comfortable enough to decide to tradeThis is clearly stated in the courseIt appears that you did not properly study the materials, otherwise this would have been clear to youUnder the circumstances, we do not believe a refund is in orderIf you need additional time in the course or additional help with it, we are ready to provide it

Trading Advantage is a first rate companyThey offer a full training curriculum to teach people of any background how to successfully trade the markets, whether it be in options, stocks or futuresThe courses are taught in an on-line environment in real-time and are taught by experienced professional traders
The course materials themselves are also top notchStudents access the materials on-line through videos, recorded presentations and text book materials displayed on-line

There is also an introduction class that is run by a Trading Advantage employee who helps orient students both to the course materials and the trades available at any given time
I've been a student of Trading Advantage for eight yearsWhenever I've had a question or criticism, I voiced it and they responded in a professional and courteous and caring manner

Trading Advantage has reached out to the consumer and the consumer is satisfied with the response provided.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
it is true that I had gone through the education portion. Why wouldn't I do this? I was told to go through the lessons, and thereafter to enter the live trading rooms, and it was only then that it became clear that during the times in which I can, the charts and indicators used in the educational portion wasn't available when I need it. Also on the occasions that I could attend the live trading sessions, I was dependent on those running the sessions.
I did log on on the date mentioned, but at the request of trading advantage as they again tried to show me how great the program is (but only if I have the charts and indicators), and I again explained that I was upset with their misrepresentation and how it is impossible to use their system.
also, despite going through the education, there is no way anyone could trade that method without their charts and indicators, to claim otherwise is completely incorrect.
there may have been something about refunds, but this was all done over the phone, and their recordings would indicate that no one there mentioned this. There were many claims made over the phone, but I mentioned them in the initial complaint.
thank you for hearing me out.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
Again, I must disagree strongly with this business. With reputable businesses people have a reasonable time to get a refund. This IS NOT a reputable business. They pressure people into a decision and then hide behind the paperwork. Please advise all your readers that this is not a company who has any values. They are (obviously) only out to pressure money out of people and not at all about providing a service.
My request still stands.... I would like a refund.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This customer was not high pressured, nor was he told he would make money. We have the tape recordings of the conversations to prove it. Further, he reviewed many of the classes before making his false claims and demanding a refund. Until this customer comes clean and admits the true facts, we can...

do nothing for him.We are ready to provide the tape recordings to prove that this customer has made numerous false allegatrions.

Apparently, Ms. [redacted], has not really explored the education provided. After her orientation, was instructed to spend time in the Foundation room, a class providing the basics needed to understand our methodology. Trading Advantage provides education, but TA cannot force students to use that...

education. Further, her complaint that the materials are "not up to date"  is disingenuous. Learning about options is a study in mathematics and mathematics don't change. The written and video materials are part of the foundation, and the up to date material is provided in the live classes every business day. Ms. [redacted] did view 26 modules but only completed 3. That indicates that she did not provide herself with enough background to understand the more advanced instruction in the live rooms. To criticize TA's education without completing it is not right and does not, in TA;s opinion, merit a refund. A student needs to complete the underlying education to understand the more advanced materials. In this case, Ms. [redacted] has not given TA an honest opportunity to educate her.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:

This is the same thing they have done in the past which is why it took me so long to do a complaint.  Actually, that's not really true, because as I stated in my complaint, I tried to contact them by mail and my mail kept getting returned.  Then when I called to get the correct address it still came back.  Then I called again and they said oh, you need a suite number.  So I have got nothing but a runaround from them and then they say, oh, we'll extend your time, same thing they are offering now.  The education sucks, as I stated in my complaint.  I was under the impression it was live education, but when you're on live and you ask a question, you may or may not get a response.  And just because I didn't take the up sell doesn't mean anything.  They were constantly trying to up sell.  They call you like they want to help you, then they nice talk you, and then it's well, you want to buy.....something.  I still want a refund and if they don't want to give me one, then my complaint stands and I will make a complaint anywhere I can find so that no one else makes the same mistake as me. Even the original sale, I kept saying no, let me think about it, so they kept lowering the price until they hit a number you'll say yes to.  It's worse than a used car salesman.  And the proof is the turnover, because I constantly spoke to a different person because they would tell me the person I asked for was gone.  That speaks volumes to this company.  If they were honest and sincere, they would offer at least a partial refund.  I will tell anyone who will listen not to buy their crappy education!!
Sincerely,
[redacted]

It is strange that after all this time, you are filing a complaint. You state that the company was trying to up sell you , but you never bought another product.  You were offered an orientation by our help desk and you were advised that if you had any problems, you could contact the Help Desk....

This company is very serious about the education it provides. You were also advised that no refunds were offered after the product is purchased. That was clearly disclosed to you on the paperwork you signed. Although we will not offer a refund, I can offer an extension of your education and assure that you will not receive any more sales calls.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to...

complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I will consider this issue fully closed when I receive this refund.  If I don't receive it I will be making another entry.  Also if I don't get a resolution before the 12th or 13th I will be billed again.  Please take this into consideration so the billing process is turned off.  Thank you.
Sincerely,

Consumers beware of this training service. I was told during a training session that the pass rate was around 10%. The likelihood of you trading THEIR money is extremely low. Also, when dealing with the initial sales person (Mike S.), I communicated to him that I was extremely interested in a trading course that was strictly based on objective rules with no subjectivity whatsoever (I even used an if/then flow chart as an analogy to drive home the point). He promised me that this was the case. This turned out to be not true, and I felt cheated. Furthermore, communication was horrible... 33 total emails were sent to them during the course, and only 11 emails were returned (5 of those were in the beginning when they needed me to fill out forms etc... so really it was only 6 emails returned during the course when I had questions... very disappointed). I would have registered a formal complaint but I waited too long (complaints need to be registered within 1 year of buying the service).
