Trading Advantage has searched its telephone database and has not found this individual's name. Without this individual's...

telephone number, we can not block it since we do not know the number. It is possible that someone else entered a fictitious number that corresponds to this individual's number but is shown under a different name. I invite this individual to call Trading Advantage and ask for the complaint resolution department. We will then take the phone number and make sure it is removed from our call lit. Without know th number, we cannot remove it.

Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/06/11) */
The complaint dept. spoke with the customer and told him that his number would be placed on the Do not call list. In addition, customer was provided with a contact number to call in case he received another call.

Just because a potential customer does not pay attention to a presentation and makes up his own version of it is not our problem. It was made completely clear that there are no refunds. Again, our courses are not offered on an "on approval" basis. As I indicated previously, there was no pressure. the customer was advised in writing that there are no refunds. the no refunds policy is clearly stated in large print. People have to live up to their commitments and they can't just decide unilaterally that they want to break an agreement they made. Originally, this customre was upset ecasue he was on hold for too long. Is that high pressure? He had plenty of time to think about the transaction. After speaking with a supervisor, he agreed to make the purchase. So really, there was no pressure.

This is a copy of my email I sent to the owner of Trading Advantage with no response.
Mr. Larry [redacted],
I’m an old retired guy considering ways to make a little additional money.
With the help of Mr. Rick [redacted] I signed up for you services late Wednesday afternoon, November the 30th.
I reviewed your web site and a Trading Room on Thursday, December 1st. Everything was very professional, but
I decided it was not for me.
On Friday, December 2nd. I emailed and called Rick to cancel my subscription. I was horrified to find out that he was not willing
to help me with my request. He would have to ask his boss. I know you and your company to be a leader in customer service and
not interested in cheating someone out of $5000.00 for making a wrong decision. I regret the inconvenience and trouble but please help me to make this right.
When I mentioned to Mr. Mickey [redacted] that in addition to simply requesting that Trading Advantage do the right think that I thought The [redacted] Commission
had mandated a three-day cooling off period. He checked and said that did not apply to Illinois.???
Thank you in advance for your consideration,

Trading Advantage reviewed the transcript of the conversation with our Educational Adviser. At no time did he lead this customer to believe...

that we provided recommendations. Throughout the entire conversation, he explained we provided education. Also, there was no mistake regarding any "trial" period. this firm has never told anyone that there is a trial period and this is no exception. It is unfortunate that this customer inferred something from the conversation, but the terms of the education and the terms of the purchase were extremely clear. Trading Advantage, everywhere in its materials, states that it does NOT provide recommendations. It provides education. If the customer would like to hear the conversation, we can probably find it again and send her a copy.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/09/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Trading Advantage is saying they can send me a copy of just one conversation. Actually there was more then one conversation. He needs to listen to each of them to know all the details. If they're available, I'd like Revdex.com to listen to them to hear and know everything that was said. He's making it sound like the offer was legitimate, but it was not.
I was lied to at least three times until they convinced me to finally join. Revdex.com will hear how Trading Advantage gave me the impression that I had a 5 month trial period. Revdex.com will also very clearly notice that T.A. neglected to itell me that there was "no refund". I would have known that there was not a 5 month trial period, if they would have been HONEST and told me there was no refund. If there wasn't a refund, I should have been told that.
I was also told that I could get recommendations from Kingsview for a 2% commission fee. That's another lie that convinced me to go with it. That can very obviously be heard on the recorded conversations. When I did call Kingsview to tell them I would take their recommendations for the 2% commission fee, they told me, "no, they could not do that". If I wasn't allowed a refund, I should have been clearly informed, but it was not mentioned at all. When you're made to believe that you have a 5 month trial period and they DO NOT SAY the most important thing - That there is NO REFUND, then that is totally a scam.
Trading Advantage will probably provide more deception by sending you three pieces of documentation that they will try and convince you that they sent me, but nothing was ever sent to me at all until AFTER I disputed the charges with my credit card company. They sent Discover false documentation to make them think that that material was sent to me and that I had signed a contract which I couldn't have done since it was NOT ever sent to me. It never could have been mailed to me, have me sign it and have me mail it back all in the same day. So that is one obvious proof I couldn't have signed it. And it was never emailed to me either. A computer tech person can go into my computer or Trading Advantage's computer and prove that nothing was ever emailed to me. So that's more proof that I was never sent the documentation they are trying to make you think that they sent me - which is another obvious scam.
Trading Advantage did refund me $2,000, but would not refund me the total $5,000 amount that I paid. I'd appreciate it if Revdex.com could resolve this scam for me and have my remaining $3,000 refunded back to me.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Trading Advantage claims to be selling education, but the sales call was all about selling the program of the live signals for day trading and making at least $1000.00 a month.  First 5 months guaranteed to make $5000.00.  During this initial sales call, [redacted] did mention that one could also use their educational program.  I even asked [redacted] why would anyone bother to do this since all one had to do was to follow the live signals, and his response was rather vague about some people just like to know more.  Why won't they do what is ethically correct and return my $5000.00.  They are in fact selling access to live trade signals provided in their "rooms" and they are being disingenuous to deny this.  Trading Advantage also claims that my lack of funds, my disablilty and my tolerance levels are not their concern, but if they were sincere about helping clients, all of this would be discussed prior to taking a client's money
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We have carefully reviewed this matter and Mr. [redacted] complaint. Mr.[redacted] must not be remembering his conversations accurately. We have reviewed the transcripts of the conversation and,...

frankly Mr.[redacted] is totally mistaken on his recollection. We would be glad to provide Mr.[redacted] with a transcript of his conversations with Trading Advantage Personnel.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/01/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No, I do not accept the response. I was told I would be "extremely happy with the program" and it was either stated directly or inferred that the TA program would be significantly better and a "graduate-level" improvement from the other online program I discussed and would provide successful program signals that netted a gain of 105% over the last 12 months and did not require me to be logged into the chatroom. Given my 8am-5pm job, and not getting full benefit of the timely stock signals or the chatroom will severely diminish the value obtained from the TA program and the goals I had for enrolling with the program.
While I was not informed I was being tape-recorded, I would welcome the transcript.
I only submitted a Revdex.com complaint because I was not given any alternative and used this as a last resort I am also now concerned that given the lack of response to my emails or calls that I could potentially be branded as a malcontent or treated in a less-than-helpful or cordial manner, in the event I am made to continue with the program and will not get value from the program.
Is there not a way to work out a suitable compromise?
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2015/02/19) */
If Mr.[redacted] would like to discuss a compromise, I am open to that. I suggest he call me a [redacted] to see if we can work something out.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:it is true that I had gone through the education portion. Why wouldn't I do this? I was told to go through the lessons, and thereafter to enter the live trading rooms, and it was only then that it became clear that during the times in which I can, the charts and indicators used in the educational portion wasn't available when I need it. Also on the occasions that I could attend the live trading sessions, I was dependent on those running the sessions.I did log on on the date mentioned, but at the request of trading advantage as they again tried to show me how great the program is (but only if I have the charts and indicators), and I again explained that I was upset with their misrepresentation and how it is impossible to use their system.also, despite going through the education, there is no way anyone could trade that method without their charts and indicators, to claim otherwise is completely incorrect.there may have been something about refunds, but this was all done over the phone, and their recordings would indicate that no one there mentioned this. There were many claims made over the phone, but I mentioned them in the initial complaint.thank you for hearing me out.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

After discussing the matter with the customer, he admitted that some of the allegations made in his complaint were not...

accurate. However, Trading Advantage has decided to refund the customer because he did not really understand the time commitment required for the education he signed up for.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/03/18) */
Trading Advantage has spoken to the consumer and he has agreed to restart his training and withdraw his complaint.

Trading Advantage has agreed to your refund request of $3,000.00. I will direct Trading Advantage to begin processing that refund.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This is the same thing they have done in the past which is why it took me so long to do a complaint.  Actually, that's not really true, because as I stated in my complaint, I tried to contact them by mail and my mail kept getting returned.  Then when I called to get the correct address it still came back.  Then I called again and they said oh, you need a suite number.  So I have got nothing but a runaround from them and then they say, oh, we'll extend your time, same thing they are offering now.  The education sucks, as I stated in my complaint.  I was under the impression it was live education, but when you're on live and you ask a question, you may or may not get a response.  And just because I didn't take the up sell doesn't mean anything.  They were constantly trying to up sell.  They call you like they want to help you, then they nice talk you, and then it's well, you want to buy.....something.  I still want a refund and if they don't want to give me one, then my complaint stands and I will make a complaint anywhere I can find so that no one else makes the same mistake as me. Even the original sale, I kept saying no, let me think about it, so they kept lowering the price until they hit a number you'll say yes to.  It's worse than a used car salesman.  And the proof is the turnover, because I constantly spoke to a different person because they would tell me the person I asked for was gone.  That speaks volumes to this company.  If they were honest and sincere, they would offer at least a partial refund.  I will tell anyone who will listen not to buy their crappy education!!
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I informed the previous person that I will be moving and setting up my place before I signed...

the contract. This is the reason I am responding to my last day that I need to response back to the business.
This is ongoing resolution since I have a new person (Dir. Tino [redacted]i) who will be working toward resolving this matter in a professional manner.

I am rejecting this response because:Again, I must disagree strongly with this business. With reputable businesses people have a reasonable time to get a refund. This IS NOT a reputable business. They pressure people into a decision and then hide behind the paperwork. Please advise all your readers that this is not a company who has any values. They are (obviously) only out to pressure money out of people and not at all about providing a service. My request still stands.... I would like a refund.
Sincerely,
