All,We humbly apologize for the what was perceived as a rude and unprofessional message concerning placed with our company for collection. Our phone log only indicated one attempt to call and a voicemail was left using our company wide script for collections. Nevertheless, the account
was closed on 11/11/after receipt of the initial complaint and no further contact will be made by AGA. The account has been returned to the original client - *** *** with an account number ending with *** and opened on 3/22/13. AGA does not tolerate any agent using non-compliant tactics to resolve debts that are placed with our company. The account has been returned to our client and no further contact will be made from our office.
After a review of the complaint received by [redacted] we are saddened that the efforts to collect a debt has caused him to stress. Our records indicate that only one call was made by AGA to the customer. At that time, it was explained that we did not have a detailed statement for the...
charges but referred to him to the correct place to get the [redacted] protected information. Numerous incoming calls were made by [redacted] in search for the back up to the debt and each time he was informed of the process to get this information.[redacted] was given to him on the initial phone call. In addition, AGA is not a scam but a service provider to companies that require collection services for past due debts.At this time, the account has been returned to the client for any further actions.
